How come people in the US always want to move away from home even if it isnt economically smart?

in Europe its pretty normal to live in your parents house until they die and then it becomes your house and so on

does europe just treat property with more historical significance than people in the US?

good question.
I wish I could be back and enjoy the house I was raised in.
3 acres of land on a tropical Island. 2 story house.... hmmmm

Burgers are greedy and want the world, usually they are defeated by reality and eventually move back in with their parents, if they will even accept them at all.

I never really thought about it, but it is kinda weird. I would guess it's just a cultural difference.

We're more assertive and adventurous than our eurofag kin are. It's proven to be an asset several times over.

>does europe just treat property with more historical significance than people in the US?

australian parents will sell the family farm and buy a boat to travel around the world. then when the kids have nowhere to live they give you 20,000 that they had in the same 0% interest savings account for 25 fucking years.

I'm inheritng the house when they die along with my siblings. My parents refused to do a reverse mortgage because they didn't want to leave me with nothing.

i mean assertive and adventurous is one thing but getting an apartment for 5+ years in your early 20s just seems like a massive waste of money

i can understand wanting to live on your own just for the experience but at some point its better to just live at home and save up for a house

>Normal

Only if you're a raghead or pajeet

America is like a coast to coast shopping mall and our culture, society, traditions, etc are all set up to enhance and accelerate consumerism and drive eternal growth in a crack-cocaine sort of way

I can't really fuck my girlfriend in my parent's house you utter loon

I guess there is just this idea of making your life your own. Especially because it is an american idea that whoever owns the house makes the rules. You want freedom. You move away.

this, how do you throw a party or fuck your girlfriend in you parents house?

>not asserting dominance by fucking your girlfriend right in front of your parents

lmao this cuck

no but seriously, most euro houses are up rather than wide so just take her in your room and shut the door

I'm 23 and I am moving out just now. When I tell people I live at home they are horrified.

so people looking at you awkwardly is enough to spend at minimum 1/3rd (more likely 1/2 or more) of your wages on an apartment?

yeah that's not normal m8

No, I'm not moving out because of what people think. It's just kind of tiresome living with parents. The want to be independent

>living with your parents
Only a mentally ill person would want to live with their parents. I'd rather spend a bit of money on rent than be yelled at and called weird freak and nagged at 24/7. People hear clearly forget what living at home was like

And then parents walk in, opps

You should wait until your married for that anyway

>having your dad fap outside your door to your gf's moans

Sure, eurocuck. I grew up in a small one story house and that option wasn't available. We proudly go into debt here in exchange for the freedom of having our own place, sure renting is a huge waste but I'd have missed out on hundreds of orgasms so I'd say overall it's worth it.

That's a good reason. Being a social outcast is a HUGE motivator to change.

That's degenerate though.

If someone has lenient parents who stay out of the way there's no point in moving out early.

>be me
>le based Kekistani flag
>virgin at 36
>better tell some guy on the internet he's degenerate because I can't get any myself

Nice spin on the fact we are all poorfags having to spend all our wealth on Muslim refugees that rape our women and kill our men.

my girlfriend never moans, am i doing something wrong?

the only noises she makes is when she's doing blowpops or when we're using her hitachi. so we just turn the tv on

Because in the US, you aren’t shit unless you have mountains of debt with nothing to show for it.

I am a virgin. I bet you wish you were too. Enjoy never enjoying a true relationships

Americans are the most individualistic people on the planet. Look it up. It's a fact. Of course we want independence. It's in our blood, and it's the spirit that founded this nation.

The real reason is once you are past 30 if you're still living with your parents in the us or canada you are a failure

Because the american dream is to have your children live much better than you did. I assume the european dream is to carry on the values to their kids??? When I was a kid I was always told by my dad "I really hope you make a lot of money" and all sorts of stuff he wished he did to be better off instead of being a wage slave.

I don't know the european prospective but I assume it's more of a happiness thing.

Now to probably what the housing thing TODAY comes down to. Most people when they were 18 went to college, my dad went into the navy when he was 17. Anyway it's kinda just the way things are, at 18 you either go to college or move out because it's about independence in america. The american family raise a child not to really be happy in life but to be sucsessful and independent, fully self-sufficient.

In America, Independence is more appreciated then happiness. If you are a man who can take care of himself and pay off bills, then you are seen as sucsessful while you may be miserable. I know in denmark, happiness is the most valued aspect in life.

if you listen to this video, you'll understand what is expected of an american man. youtube.com/watch?v=7UBj4Rbq3ZI

What's it mean if you're collectivist to people close to you but individualist to the rest of society? As in incredibly tribalistic to a small level but individualistic towards the large level?

I am engaged to my current partner who was my 3rd total. Making 70k at a regional airline after tax. Should be transitioning to a United or American job within 5-7 years (6 figs). Enjoy your sad life, virgin. Why don't you show your flag?

Multi-gen homes are becoming a lot more common. But still not preferred.

Its all about status basically. Owning your own home. The American Dream. Respect.

Going the way of the Dodo as more and more realize the dream is unaffordable now and turns into a nightmare.

>you cant have sex and enjoy a "true relationship"

Im 26 and I lived with my parents about 23 years of my life. Everyone was always asking "why dont you live by yourself" or "dont you feel bad for leeching off your parents?"

For one, because I stayed with my parents (had the entire second floor to myself) I saved up around $40k. Thats more than a shit-ton of people, and i laugh in everyone's faces when you say you dont have money.

Second, im not leeching off anyone. They bought the house beforehand knowing that I would be staying there to save money. When they pass, or if they move, the place is mine.

I pay for my own bills, food, etc. And i pay them back for living with them by cleaning, cooking meals, and taking care of the electronics and repairs to cars, the house, and everything else. Its a great tradeoff instead of putting $700 a month towards rent, I can keep it to myself and do whatever I want with it.

People are idiots that leave the home early instead of thinking rationally and saving money up.

HAHAHAHA non-virgin scum. It's your third partner, you've been numbed to any true emotional feelings after the first

My roommate in college with a micro-penis was able to elicit a few squeals, praying for you...

How does it work when you have siblings? Do you end up with like 4 families living in the same house?

I believe it's a Jewish trick for muh freedom
Be a good free goy and pay my mortgage for a property you will never own.
There was a time when moving out was reasonable, moving away from home was economically profitable, so on.
The current times, even if you move out of home for muh freedom, you'll have to rent with a few strangers to pay your $2000 for two bedroom rents for a home you don't even own.
It seems stupid. I stayed with my folks until I had enough money to buy my own property. And I gladly rent to those young people who "need space and muh freedom" I mean they pay my mortgage so I live pretty much for free.
Almost ready for my second property which is going to be paid by the first one. Can't complain with the mentality but I think it's stupid for young people to move out.

Hahaha
>moral superior because I haven't got my dick wet
Just kill yourself

But people who live at home longer are the only ones able to make milestones on the same time level the Boomers were. If you want to live in a great neighborhood with the best school systems and have a large home and yard, no student loan debt, and a wedding and marriage all in your 20s, you live at home longer. If you want retirement accounts at a young age and many types of stock options you live at home longer. It allows a person to live the 1980s lifestyle in the 2010s.

Introduce her to the vibrating hand!

If you can't make her moan with your hands, user it's not even that you got a disappointing dick, you are just a disappointing partner.

Good on you man. It sounds like your parents actually give a fuck about you too.

Shut the fuck up.

;..; my gf says that her vagina is tipped so she cant have orgasms from penetration alone its not my fault i have an average penis

To make it themselves

no you're all just parasites waiting for your parents to die. Grow a pair and move out.

Property is cheaper and people make more money over here, now fuck off with your knowingly stupid thread

if you had boomer parents you'd understand.

yeah it just means you got to let her ride you on top. Bullshit you can still orgasm from penetration with a tipped vagina but you just got to find the position.

>$2000

Stop living in shitty liberal infested cities

>I'd rather spend a bit of money on rent than be yelled at and called weird freak and nagged at 24/7
Is this how parents act towards their sons in America? no wonder you seems to despise your families and have to make up a sense of "community" among strangers.

I wanna do what you guys do but with me at least its a combination of two things.

1. I lock horns with my old man way too fuckin much.

2. Greater control over my own life/making my own rules

>in Europe its pretty normal to live in your parents house until they die and then it becomes your house and so on
This was also the case in America until recently. Like most of the horrible things about our society, this was also the result of baby boomers being disgusting, greedy children who hate the idea of not being able to live in a state of constant consumption, or having to share literally any of their possessions, even with their own children.

They couldn't even pass their homes to their children if they wanted to because they're all on their 5th mortgage to pay for their endless "retirement".

Nah. You should live stream you hanging yourself. Or donate your body to the DNC so they can sacrifice your virgin ass to satan. Could probably use some help right now.

Yes, you were adventurous enough to open your borders to the entire world and now you're 52% white, and this is after including Arabs and North Africans as "White" for some reason. Good job.

Because freedom and privacy you dumb socialist.

He deserves it for being the kind of loser that browses Sup Forums. Do your parents coddle you like the little fag you are?

you know you're trolling

grow a pair retard

I thought everyones parents did that when they got mad, which as you know parents are usually mad.

shut up dumb capitalist

Why the fuck are you still here?

>Reddit flag
>Fuck Capitalism
How far the meaning of that flag has fallen.

Yep. Will get my grandfathers house too, but will probably sell it because he lives in bumfuck nowhere on 85 acres. Its either that or give it to my kids whenever I decide to have them with my wife, but that will be 20 years from now and i have no idea what the economic structure wIll be at that point. I'd rather sell the place and put it in a CD fund or something to accrue over time.

Americans lack interest in family and family bonds. Basically everybody there is depressed and wants to kill her or himself

This flag is for the alt-right which always hated cuckitalism.

CD funds are generally dumb. With money from an entire house you could probably afford a finical advisor who would perform better than a CD. Municipal bonds are a common choice for people who would normally buy a CD

>does europe just treat property with more historical significance than people in the US?
Yes.
It's not as important to us, because we have a lot more of it than you.

>How come people in the US always want to move away from home even if it isnt economically smart?
They are told by our consumerist culture that someone is not an adult until they move out and become a tenant.
>in Europe its pretty normal to live in your parents house until they die and then it becomes your house and so on
That is a bit excessive, mate. Probably because a decent condo/house there cost 500k and you guys make 40k a year.
>does europe just treat property with more historical significance than people in the US?
Euros can't afford houses and American youth believe they are cool and "independent" by moving out.

Alright, cool. Thanks.

>American parents are so shitty that they would rather their adult children fuck their girlfriend on a park bench rather than in their house.
>American houses are so small that the only place you can fuck your girlfriend is 1 room down from your parents.

Fuck that, I am not living with my parents again.

Why the fuck would you want to live with your parents when you are over the age of 21?

Enjoy divorce and raising "your" child in a split household, faggot.

So you can have the same lifestyle the Boomers had in most of their adulthood and not be affected by the economic changes.

> at minimum

No, my parents raised me to not be a useless nigger who can't spend or earn money correctly. If you can't cover the months bills on the first (weekly) paycheck of the month, you're living above your means, need to improve your job, or both.

Poverty has essentially forced many into this. It's hard. It is hard to be respected as an adult by our parents generation. They can't let the past go. They don't believe that the economy is all that bad now.

Most Americans have terrible family relations, but that's how it was for me as a third generation immigrant. Overall the experience was quite good, and I'll definitely try it if I have kids.
>individualism is determined by where you live
>not what skills, talents, hobbies, or anything that remotely defines you as an individual
This "tradition" does nothing but fragment the family unit, encourage wasteful spending, and drives the need for working longer hours to fuel a vapid interpretation of adulthood.

>Most Americans have terrible family relations
Fucking this.
