I really doubt they will care enough to introduce 3 new guys for the new M4 too. The people who like the M4 guys are already attached to these and adding 3 more characters would bloat the cast already considering they are adding the Venus people in.

Remember that he M4 all have space stars constellations related names and that they are the envoys of the Stars who will choose Yume as new super idol at the end of s2

That hasn't been confirmed. For what we know, the M4 members could include the high school section since the male division is a third of the size of the female division. Satou tweeted that we'll learn about how the M4 works in episode 50.

Because they all are fucking 3rd years except for Asahi. If the S4 is leaving because they are graduating then it's logical to assume that same would apply to their equivalent unit.

Remove Yume

I liked this episode. In a way, I'm glad Lily lost last week because it gave me time to cool down and fully enjoy this episode, otherwise I would have just been frustrated this entire episode. The scene at the start with Koharu was great, and I also loved the scene of Yume sitting alone eating looking out at the sunset while eating curry. The scene that leads into with Hime while an instrumental of Startline plays was nice too. I do like Yume and I'm happy for her even if I feel this was a bit too soon.

Ah man, Kakihara Yuuko barely writes any of the episodes of Stars, but the ones she does always perfectly capture and add to every single character, not leaving any behind. If they left her to do everything, every episode probably would end up with all of them involved somehow.

They showed Koharu's message in the preview, so I was expecting only that. Imagine my surprise when Yume brought out two unopened candies from when she left. And then finally, hearing her voice after so long almost brought me to tears. How she couldn't bear to call Yume because she would break down when she heard her voice. The symbolism of her not just on a boat, but watching the sunrise filled me with confidence. By skipping the OP, there was exactly enough setup to make Yume's performance feel "right". The stage itself changed to suit Yume with a rainbow cake instead of the red one, and it was clear to see how good she is now.

Hime did as expected, except I didn't think she'd do Start Line, which was a welcome surprise (and with the newest CG). The best part through was after, seeing how much she's influenced and guided everyone. Lily and Laura and Tsubasa, not to mention Yume. In particular, Lily being hit by those lines: "Dreams aren't meant for dreaming, they're meant to be fulfilled" and Yuzu being there with her were touching.

There's just too much to mention, from Ako trying to cheer up Laura, to her new tiny fan saying they're rivals, to Subaru closing his confrontation with Moroboshi, to Yume even having one last delusion. But my most meaningful part was Hime's exploration of Yume's "rainbow". It's not just a word or a power—it's the culmination of blue tears and yellow laughter and every other kind of experience coming together at once. This grow from every experience sentiment is reminiscent of Akari's philosophy too.

Overall, I felt the balance, pacing, and flow were superb. This was a satisfying climax to the first season, and already set up the next.

Ako had like five lines this episode and yet still managed to be a best.

Airi, Nana, and Mei deserve more love.

Finished s2 of Aikatsu,overall first half was terrible,second half slight improved but not enough to salvage it.DreAca girls ruined S2,don't accept that Ichigo "beat" Muzuki cause it wasn't a one on one,only good thing about S2 was Akari's introduction.

Atleast S3 will focus on Akari so hopefully the magic from s1 will return,but for now putting this on hold cause S2 made me nearly lose all interest in Aikatsu currently.
