Russia's economy is on par with or below that of developing countries like Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina

Alright Sup Forums, first off, how fucked is Russia once we crash their oil exports with no survivors?
Second, how bad is the average Russian's life right now?
Lastly, how do we save Russia?

>how bad is the average Russian's life right now?
Russia has more corruption and income equality than India.

you should have listened to the great old Patton and nuked the soviets after ww2

Russia is so dependent on oil exports that they suffer from the so called "dutch disease", basically the rouble fluctuates according to oil prices. Russian industry collapsed at the end of the USSR because they were highly inefficient, leaving extraction and services as the only paths available.
Russia is a clay feet giant.

How do we stop Switzerland first?
You can't keep getting away with this

open your eyes

we are already on the path of decline while the US are rising faster than ever under Trump

>Russia's economy is on par with or below that of developing countries like Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina
Russia was even worse in 90s. It literally had total GDP at 92 billions after USSR collapse.
>The West has not even begun to impose full sanctions yet
Sure, USA can do this. Because there's not much trade going on between Russia and USA. But how do you expect EU to do this? Like you already forgot about them whining.
bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40727044
EU doesn't even follow current sanctions. Do you know that there are several EU companies operating in Crimea, despite the sanctions. There is even a Dutch company involved in construction of Kerch bridge. And sanctioned EU products go to Russia through some buffer states like Belarus.
>They are now resorting to selling weapons and petroleum to shit-tier countries in the middle east and best korea
They always did this. EU is still by far the biggest trade partner of Russia. But now it is focusing on China for diversification. There are several projects being built like pipelines to China, LNGs etc. Do you expect China to sanction Russia?
>Alright Sup Forums, first off, how fucked is Russia once we crash their oil exports with no survivors?
You can't do this, no matter how much you'd want it. You'd have to fuck up EU, too.
>Second, how bad is the average Russian's life right now?
It's pretty shit compared to West. But Russians are accustomed to shit life. And right now it is far from being the shittiest. Again, 90s were far worse.
>Lastly, how do we save Russia?
Russia is beyond saving. Your kiked country already fucked up Russia 100 years ago with bolsheviks. All because of >MUH ANTISEMITIC TSAR

The wonders of capitalism.

Yet, you see them as a threat. Why?

That downturn for european countries after 2014, jesus fuck.

Thats because communism killed most of their smart people. most russians are white niggers.
here is israel our russians are high tech workers, doctors etc. the dumb stinky vodka white trash we dont bring.
Young russians are fleeing russia, especially the smart ones.

Sorry, we're alright
But sanctions are bad, you really should reconsider

Just leave Russia
Russia must fall, im sorry to say that, but either the west rules or Russia
And russia is fighting for that, and they will rather nuke us all than giving this idea up
But we cant let Russia become financially so strong, because it would basically would end in a war

Russia's alright
It's reasonable the West wants to hurt Russia for having an independent policy, but this antagonizing only means that if everything goes really bad, we'll just sell this motherfucker to China, and you'd end up bordering a huge Chinese buffer state they don't mind wasting in a war

So the silly stuff, the days West could desided everything on its own are almost over, and even poor Russia is beyond what you guys can handle. Hell, Afghanistan might be the bar.

Do you really think this though? It seems like Russians are on a inevitable death spiral. Especially with the EU and now Americans starting to push for alternative energy and electric cars. What will you do then? Become China's/Africa's bitch?

Why is US GDP so shit compared to a country of mountaineers

'Cause deep inside, besides 'HAHAHA ITALIAN GDP' and 'HAHAHA SUBHUMAN ROOSKIES' you know that we're:
A mentally unstable nation
One that has nukes
One that's used to poverty
GIving us a big war to fight is a horrible idea since it's the only way Russia can click right.

Russia isn’t bad off at all, the size of their economy only looks bad on the surface when you compare it to the bloated and artificially inflated economies of the west. In reality Russia is one of only a handful of countries that can produce almost everything they need domestically. They are leaders in the exports of all sorts of raw materials and are leaders in all kinds of advanced manufacturing (weapons, aerospace, nuclear tech, ice-breaking ships, hydrocarbon extraction, non-ferrous metallurgy, just to name a few). The sanctions on them are increasingly ineffective as Eurasia develops the land-based logistical infrastructure needed to bypass American control of the sea

Holy fuck are you retarded enough to fall for those memes? Hydrocarbons are more important than ever

>take away blacks and mexicans
>it's just like crime stats senpai

t. ivan

if they were better than ever, the ruble wouldn't have sunken to it's lowest levels ever last year. EU and US demand for oil has and will continue to go down especially once US starts fracking even more.

Alt energy and electric cars are just technology. If it's really ever a breakthrough, the world would catch up. Certainly Russia would not likely fall behind China if it ever happens.

Its not really a difficult idea - you have a commodity that is valuable now, but might become worthless soon. There's really zero reason not to focus on selling it while it lasts.

Diversification is globalist bullshit meaning "let us build a Toyota door handle factory". Russia 's doing that too, but we're not Thailand or Poland to make it our core policy

> fall behind China
Oh wait,we probably will
Meant to say Africa there. Everybodys going to call behind China, probably

I will always be with the Russians over the mudslimes the chinks and all other people because when it comes down to it we all look like

>Alright Sup Forums, first off, how fucked is Russia once we crash their oil exports with no survivors?

Very fucked, but you can't do it. Europe still needs our energy.

>Second, how bad is the average Russian's life right now?

Bad by Western standards, average by worldwide standards. We are used to shit.

>Lastly, how do we save Russia?

Split into more manageable units and eradicate corruption, build something other than pipelines.

>How do we save Russia?

United States annexes Russia and becomes indestructable on every front.

GDP per capita is not worth shit. In 2013, Norwegian GDP per capita was 100 000 dollars compared to 50 000 for USA. After that there has been a drop drop due to devaluation of our currency to help our export industries. GDP per capita in Norway is now 70 000 dollars while the salaries has increased a lot and prices stayed mostly the same.

Let me know when you aren’t paying Russia to launch your satellites for you.

Israel has an average IQ on par with it's neighboring countries.

>Mexico 2.0 wants to annex Russia
Kek

nice proxy you have there, faggot

Isn't Norway's economy partly controlled by the state though or is that denmark?

Hello all Ivans ITT. Here to say I like you people. Most of you are alright. There are a few bad apples of course like any country. Like the people who scan my servers for weaknesses to hack. You won't find anything and you're filling up my logs with nonsense. Please stop. Also I'm 95% sure that some Russians shill here by posting behind proxies.

People with Russian flags are usually good people though. Have a good day, Ivan! Have a happy new year!.

I think that is irrelevant. Oil price has crashed already twice. They are going on. EU slapped huge import/export sanctions. They started trading with Japan and other countries (you want japanese anime candy? go to any shop in petersburg. they simply replaced european candy with animecandy. wish EU would keep sanctions forever.).

Most important of all Russia has sense of future and purpose. Europe only has sense of self-hate and despair, as does half of USA.

It will develop just fine in the longer run.

The lack of Russian flags on Sup Forums and Sup Forums is what concerns me most. It's not quite China-tier but it's bizarre how such a large population either doesn't have access to the internet or is hiding themselves.

How the fuck did you gave them so much losses?

GDP is a shitty indicator for economic poverty. You have to take into consideration the purchasing power of a country's currency inside said country, otherwise you can earn $100k a month but if where you live water costs $1k per liter, you're gonna live almost as a hobo
I'm not saying that Russia is good or bad, mind you, but you are looking to the wrong indicator

Just let (((them))) in and you'll stop getting dicked.

Russia would benefit greatly from having someone like Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft. Someone that comes into leadership that goes after robber barons. Putin may have gotten rid of some corruption when he came into power but the biggest reason why the economy improved greatly during his first presidency was because the price of oil skyrocketed. He just happens to get the credit because he was the sitting president. Russia also needs to diversify its economy which is something Putin is trying to do.
