So, what's the actual definition of being "white"? Is it just skin shade or is there some kind of genetic test? I've heard that slavs aren't white but they certainly have light skin.
What about mixed race, say someone with a black father and a "white" mother. Is the "whiteness" recessive? What about if one had a single black family ancestor like 5 generations back, but the rest of the ancestors are all white - would the person still be "black"?
