The internet was way different.

simpler. Happier. Less racially diverse. Maybe that's why

things didn't matter as much. Everyone didn't get their panties in a knot about hearing something that offended them. Now everyone has to take every little fucking thing in American society so goddamned seriously.

A whole lot less jewy

I worked there. You would walk in and get about 4 movies for the weekend and some snacks to enjoy. Upon arriving at the counter I charge you $5 a movie and make you pay a $45 late fee from the last time someone in your family didnt rent movies and returned them 5 minutes late. You bitch me out , nothing gets resolved and you go home pissed or about $65 bucks poorer. Make it a Blockbuster night.

This thread again. What you sliding, OP?

this was true in 2010

People were more racist, but less people bitched about it. Everyone even niggers was better off

it was the same jewiness you schmuck

im glad netflix and online pirate streaming ripped them a new asshole

It might just be nostalgia, but it was comfy af.

Not even close

Don't forget that the snacks were movie theater price (and quality) when you could just stop by a gas station on the way home and get the exact same stuff for a third the price.

The culture reached, at that time, peak degeneracy. However, the family had not been thoroughly destroyed yet, and there were many comfy spaces still to be found.

Life was good. We had mobile phones, the internet wasn't full of pop ups and didn't spam you with offers for viagra, the Cold War was over, and we could still board flights without having to strip half naked thanks to some sandnigger retards. The biggest plus was that there weren't millions of rapefugees and my country was still white back then. Also no gender fluid bullshit and homos suing bakeries out of existence.

I miss the 90's because pretty much my whole family lived through it and I was a lad with big dreams. Interestingly enough even for a little boy like me, I still found my way into the esoteric hiding in the corners of my history and leading to the basement of my dreams.

My point is that no matter the time there are always secrets in people's basements.

The esoteric nature of the 90's was only known to the initiated.

Rock music still had electric guitars in it. Loud, piercing electric guitar. Not this fucking Ed Sheeran shit.

the 90's was the last decade that there was good music on the radio and on TV. high speed internet ruined music

It was like 10 cents per text message in the early 2000's. 90s was probably closer to a dollar.

My first cell phone cost $3.00 for the connected call and $1.50 p/ minute of airtime.

spbp

MTV was awsome.

I miss pagers and pay phones. No high quality surveillance cams. You would have to be retarded to get caught selling drugs

Most people were still using pagers until about 2k1. Thats about the time that service was affordable and available and flip phones were becoming cheaper.

I recently watched the entire series The Sopranos and it is really great at capturing the transition from 90s to 2000s.

My dad gave me his pager when I turned 14 and I thought I was a rock star. Used to page hoes cryptic messages and half the time they couldn't figure it out. Pops got a cell phone - tel he kind in a bag that weighed 15 pounds or so.

It seemed like Western democratic values would enjoy global supremacy. In the end, all we got was soft Fascism and demagoguery.
