There was actually a golf manga premise a podcaster I listen to jokingly proposed that I thought sounded interesting. More about the fun you can have golfing with a lot of the emphasis being on landscapes. Also with a tomboyish girl protagonist. I could get into something like that.

The genius is the problem, and real kid geniuses are still goddamn kids. That's what ruins my suspension of disbelief, thus I end up not giving a single fuck about the characters because they aren't convincing.
