Anime says goodbye to its audience at the end of a series

>anime says goodbye to its audience at the end of a series
Why don't more anime do this?

They'd rather not cause suicides.

Souls were considered unnecessary in modern anime. Souls don't make cash flow unless you're the devl

I bet Sakura already forgot about everyone of you, fags

Because they're soulless cashgrabs.

Jokes on you

Animation and art in general has become much more accessible due to technological advancements. New technologies allow decent looking products to be produced much faster than before, which in turn creates a disconnect between the artists and their work. This can be seen all over the world, specifically in the west as traditional 2D animation has almost been completely replaced by 3D and 2D rigged animation.
This combined with the current state of the animation market doesn't typically allow such large commitments as CardCaptors and instead favors quick productions of popular light novel or manga titles.

Thanking the audience is something both the producer and director would want, and there are very few projects where such a relationship is created between the creators and the viewer.

Sakura is the only pure waifu that i would never touch myself with

This is an interesting post, thanks.
I would be glad if long-runners became common again. I've long since adjusted to one cour being the standard, but I wouldn't mind the status quo eventually changing.

Because, for example, when Sakura said goodbye to me I felt unrivaled sadness. I was able to overcome it, but others might not.

Please Teach Me me taught me so much.

The Galko anime ended like this, more specifically a "see you later," I think.

Anime endings tend to be corny enough without this melodramatic bullshit.

It happened in Bananya

you take that back

>much faster than before
You don't know what you are talking about.

Because Season 2.

Because it's too painful.

Jokes on you, i never watch her show to begin with.

This man gets it

>didn't watch the best anime of the decade

compare drawing every frame on paper vs. vectors in a drawing program
or traditional painting vs. photoshop
in general you can get decent results much faster now than before.

As I said, you don't know what you are talking about.
>drawing every frame on paper
That's still the reality of anime.

>compare drawing every frame on paper vs. vectors in a drawing program
So you have no clue about how modern anime is made?

I'll admit I don't know the percentage of what studios still use paper. Are the clean up stages mostly done traditionally as well?

Coloring and a few minor other things are digital now.
But no one is saving time. Anime episodes still take 4 months to produce.
What they scrape of through computers in one place they use elsewhere.
Modern anime has a much higher degree of detail for example, and much more animation. The animation may be worse on average, but you get more of it.

Watch Shirobako, they show the process pretty weell.

What do you mean by more detail? Lots of shows especially from the 90s have plenty to spare in terms of design.

But I did watch Eva

eva is 90s anime of the decade, idiot

So you watched some pretentious harem show and you think it's best anything?

>Modern anime has a much higher degree of detail for example
it literally doesn't. its the same. good studios make good anime, now and then

She is so pure I feel guilty when I fap to her.

postmodernism

Because breaking the 4th wall is cringy and stupid.
Mostly used by cape shit.

Madoka, Koufuku Graffiti, and 3gatsu had their ending cards.

you should feel guilty when you fap to traps

Who said anything about breaking the fourth wall?

Fucking retard.

Are you downs? Do you even know what breaking the 4th wall means?

How do you say goodbye to the audience unless you break the fourth wall?

Watch cardcaptor sakura to find out.

I do

This, a lot of anime have an ending card with a thank you or a good bye after the last episode. OP is just retarded.

>All the neps thank me for completing the game
>Even the badguys

fucking based.

Didn't the recent Konosuba S2 have a "Thank you for playing" end shot?

YuYuYu is a fortunate case where it seems like the creators are actually deeply committed to the project and are getting enough of a profit out of it to keep expanding on their ideas. Probably the reason it feels more soulful than most anime out there.

Friendly reminder that Tomoyo-chan won't speak to you if you distribute her videos without her consent

I always liked this part. I was sad because it was over, but then Sakura-chan says this and lets me know that she loves me and cares about me. It is very nice.

She was saying that to me user, sorry for the confusion.

>tomoyo clearly enjoying it
>sakura not comfortable
What does this tell us?

No, I know Sakura-chan loves me. She was saying it to all of her friends I think.

I want make Sakura-chan a real woman.

No, just me, you are mistaken.

Why is this pagan scum wearing a Jesus Stick?

Shaoran that you?

She is my sisteru though. I have met her in my dreams and we have had a lot of fun. I know she loves me.

i want make sakura happy, through the pain

you monster

Dude, did you actually watch Shirobako? The show where they had to scramble to get episodes from 10 to 100 in a week, and bemoaned the industry rapidly descending into digitization?

I have stalled CCS on my backlog for ages, but will pick-up just for this pic.

...

STOP! DON'T REMIND ME!

Because it makes us face the reality that it's gone forever.

Because in the days of yore anime was romanticized. Today it is commercialized.
