Sign is his best work
I prefer Sign 2
>lot's of noisy techno shit
>best composer
Nope.
Even Yoko Plagiarism is better.
Get's me every time

hiroyuki sawano

special mention to kenji kawai too

>1990
I didn't even realize Sekai Turbine was that old
And I agree that Kenji Kawai is great
youtube.com
Oshima Michiru.
Mizoguchi Hajime.
Senoo Takeshi for the ARIA OST
shirou sagisu is a hack, but he's our hack
Sagisu's earlier work for NGE + EoE was actually masterpiece-tier.
His Rebuild stuff is shit compared to what he used to do.
You have no opinion, tasteless fag.
He mostly does vgm but I really like Noriyasu Agematsu

Really wish he did more anime

I love this song too much
shiro SAGISU
>sagisu
>hack
what do you think of his shin godzilla work?
youtube.com
youtube.com
the original shit he did was good and the use of the older godzilla music was really cool
I liked the Shin OST a lot, but he still reuses a lot of work and I rarely ever see his blatant ripping off of James Bond mentioned
Somewhat related because the artist was heavily influenced by Susume Hirasawa.
Im a sucker for Yuki Kajiura her music.

I like this guy as well.
>you can't dislike what I like
Cheesy as fuck.
Sagisu is good, but only that, good.
Pretty mediocre shit too.
All of you faggots have shitty taste. But to be honest, very few incidental music in Japanese animation has some decent quality.
Some good ones I can think of are:
Kohei Tanaka, Nijine, Yoshihisa Hirano,Ichiko Hashimoto and of course, Yoko Plagiarism (when se doesn't plagiarize she makes some pretty good shit like this:
youtube.com
(Assuming it is not also plagiarized from some piece of a real composer I don't know of, of course)
Masumi Itou is the only one I can think of which is exceptional.
Nijine made this nice 11/8 piece for Nichijou.
>Even Yoko Plagiarism is better.
This meme is bullshit and needs to end already.
You literally can't beat good old Joe.
Cheesy as fuck.
Please improve your taste, faggot.
Get some taste you high-school dropout.
Listening to Joe while reading some Gene Wolfe is top notch.
Jesus Fuck man, that one from Masumi Itou is absolute cringe, and here you are pretending that you're some sort of masterful acquired taste of music. I can't believe you couldn't even recognize the first like you posted, fucking pathetic, you don't get to act high and mighty when you can't even do that.
>anything that is calm, melodic and even remotely pretty is "CHEESY AS FUCK"
Please off yourself, you're an embarrassment to music listeners.
When you graduate from music school we talk again the same footing, friend.
Wow, what a fucking joke, try my faggot.
>implying I didn't
This is calm and is not cheesy:

If you can't discern between generic piano passages in C with generic melodies, than I have bad news for you.
WEW
I never said it didn't have generic passages bitch boy, nice straw man you've got going. Secondly, it wasn't in C major, not even close. Thirdly, posting Debussy is good, great composer no doubt, but to compare it to some Japanese composers who probably get their ideas from romantic era music or neo-romantic is completely un fair.
nobody in this even posted the best works of hirasawa:
I'll bet you're a music theory autist.
More generic techno shit.
>it wasn't in C major,
Kek
Nice talking to you, tone deaf.
>techno
wanna know how I know you didn't go to Juilliard
Wanna know I know you didn't go to any music school let alone study music?
>using tone deaf as insult
Honestly cringed, but go on Mr.Perfect Pitch, keep LARPing
I've really always wondered why a good chunk of people who attend music school usually have the worst taste, or at the very least, are completely repulsed by electronic music.
Don't, not all of them do, only LARPers and "elitists"(probably dropouts) do
Can I just say Go Shiina?
3.0's ost was unreal
That's because electronic music is tasteless garbage that doesn't require talent, as opposed to being classically trained in something like the piano.
Go back to music school.
Literally, no one, not a single person who has graduated from a music school would say something as ignorant and insulting as that. Not one.
You do know that Hirasawa, the man you criticized for being a creator of "techno shit" has also created an entire album full of woodwind and stringed instruments?
The man doesn't do the same thing twice. He may use electronica as a medium, but it's all far from "techno shit".
The dude who did Kaiji's soundtrack, Taniuchi Hideki, is pretty good.
I'm not him but in the school I attended electronic music is considered completely totally pleb tier by the vast majority of professors artistically speaking. Yes, of course they know there are exceptions, but in general I agree with them. The use of synthesized sounds in Incidental music is, of course, a different matter. But in the case of Susumu, I have to agree makes his music sounds real bad.
You shouldn't assume the tradition of your music school is the same for everyone else.
Too bad they have only posted the generic shit he made them.
What meme?
Has kanno been accused of plagiarism?
It's Ryuichi Sakamoto
youtube.com
I'm no fan of EDM or house music, but electronic music is more than that. Most electronic music is composed on keyboard and synthesizer. Look at most video game music and even metal bands with keyboard players.
This is such a banger.
I listen to this track all the damn time. Susumu is the master.
Needs more SYNTHS !
youtube.com
sorry you're a real fucking pleb then
Can we agree that DRIFTERS was OSTOTY 2016?
>I play notes on this synthesizer exactly like a piano, it just has a different sound
HACK TECHNO SHIT
>I play notes on this piano
Literally Bach how does he do it? Pure masterpiece
>this is how """music""" school kiddies think
>graduate from music school
Ah, that explains why you're a pretentious cunt
You and your professors are the same kind of worthless dipshits that would have derided jazz a hundred years ago. Fuck off
To be fair, most electronic musicians wouldn't be able to play an actual piano for shit.
>the guy talking about how Hirasawa is just dumb techno noises wants to tell us what good taste is
OK
>rubedo
good pick, though someone already posted run which is a remix of it
plenty of electronic musicians can play piano, what are you on about?
music hunger games pose
>vast majority of professors
A bunch of fat Polish Neckbearded Goatee's have a lot to boast about there pretentious taste. Ive talked to one before and he said that Beethoven was a shitty musician.
The Opinions of old folk or "Masters" should sometimes stay as an opinion.
disliking Hirasawa is subjective, but you're an ignorant twat if you discount an entire method of creating music just being it doesn't take the dexterity of playing an instrument.
