Post anime that were AOTY

Post anime that were AOTY

But that wasn't the best anime that year.

>KLK AOTY
>Nice bait

2016: rakugo
2015: kekkai sensen
2014: ping pong
2012: chuu2

>2012: chuu2
What?

Its that and psycho pass

Not even the best KyoAni show of 2012. Hyouka is a major contender for best of that year but I lean more towards Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita.

I cant stand hyouka and i thought jinrui wa suitai shimashita was mediocre

You first.

2012 AOTY was clearly Psycho Pass

>AOTY 2015
>Not Hibike!

Pleb filter working as intended. Go back to your Shinka femdom threads.

i really like that too but i remember liking chuu2 better

i like hibike but i cant take it seriiously

jokes on you i dont even like shinka or femdom

Hibike is dogshit :^)

>Pleb filter
I'm guessing this phrase means riddled with really awkward dialogue

>in-jokes between friends

It's supposed to be awkward.

Had very good world-building and a great villain, went full retard in the final third.

If thats what you think i dont think theyre your friends

...

>Not even the best KyoAni show of 2012. Hyouka is a major contender for best of that year but I lean more towards Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita.
The part about Hyouka is true but I'd go with Shinsekai Yori for 2012.

2015 was a weak year, nothing really noteworthy. A few enjoyable shows like Hibike or Non Non Biyori Repeat but nothing that deserves to be called AOTY.

Asking Sup Forums how to defeat Sybil was indeed a bit of a stretch.
But Mashishaismashisima getting rekt in the oat field still felt satisfying.

i didnt like shinsekai yori either

2015 was really shit but kekkai sensen was a helluva lot of fun to watch and i think i could have been an 8/10 if it wasnt a little iffy at the end

>oat field

Those were no regular plain ol oats.

HAPPY MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAL

What did he mean by this?

why rakugo though?

Its interesting and well directed with well established characters and a dramatic narrative that pays off with a thrilling ending, whats not to love.

>sperg talks like a sperg

wow shocking

So why does nobody treat him like a sperg, why isnt he bullied for acting and speaking like a retard

2015 had Yurikuma, Italian Lupin, Death Parade and Osumatsu.

You thought those were noteworthy?
Like, I enjoyed watching them, but I can't say I care for them beyond passing entertainment.

There is absolutely no doubt that Kill la Kill was AOTY.
Kyousogiga had potential but ended up not delivering the same qualities of the OVAs, and nothing else comes even close.

Third season of ippo was way better

The Wind Rises and Kaguya-hime

You fisrt OP.

>2015 OPM
Come at me

Lupin without its franchise clout would've been obscure and unwatched. Yurikuma was a low tier meme show. Osumatsu was faggotry and DP was garbage only normalfags liked.

Movies don't count.

>2015 was a weak year, nothing really noteworthy
OPM is far and away the only noteworthy anime in that year, but it's hype was still weirdly deflated and not on the level of fad shows that came before it.

Yurikuma certainly.
Sadly most people didn't understand it, like this faggot here

I watched and liked Yurikuma, but pretending like it was some kind of sensation that outdid everything that year is just retarded.

>can't think of a single TV anime that outdid KLK
>has to use movies

It strikes me as silly to not count the best anime of the year when considering Anime of the Year.

I enjoyed YKA quite a bit, but like, I don't know if I could ever call it a good show. Fell flat in nearly every regard. It was original though, and I can respect that.

It was an excellent show with little competition.
But then again even looking at 2016, practically nothing was better than it (don't say Flip Flappers please).

>Fell flat in nearly every regard
Nah.

You don't think so? The art was sloppy and hardly corrected at all, the narrative felt compromised and had little breathing room in so few episodes, whole thing just felt like a rushed production.

>The art was sloppy and hardly corrected at all
Not really. The show looked great.
>the narrative felt compromised and had little breathing room in so few episodes
If anything the narrative benefited from being compact and focused, not becoming meandering and poorly paced like MPD.
Some side character could have used more screentime, but I never said it was perfect. The series accomplished what it wanted to do, and it never felt like it didn't earn its payoffs.

Shinsekai Yori looked like garbage and the characters were paper thin.
Only thing it had going for it was the story.

Hyouka was flawlessly executed on all levels.

>Hyouka was flawlessly executed on all levels.
Except for the dogshit writing and dialogue you mean.

Name literally one show with great dialogue.

Kare Kano

The Tatami Galaxy.

Hibike wasn't exactly a masterpiece but its dialogues were leagues above the awkward shit you had to suffer in Hyouka.

even AOT was better than that shit ! god 2013 was the worst year for anime

1976 was a great year !

>AOT
>no capitalization
>weird spacing
Fuck off back from wherever you came from.

>2016; mob
>2015 gundam the origin
>2014 cross ange (ping pong is a good choice too )
>2013 AOT (shitty year i know)
>2012 nichibros
fixed

>2015 Ninja Slayer
>2016 Mob Psycho

mob was okay, i need to get around to gundam the origin but for this it doesnt count its tv only

>2015 OPM
>2016 re zero

>2015 Zdravstvuite!
>2016 Parade de Satie

Good one

>Reddit: Zero/10

>2009: K-On!
>2010: K-On!!
>2011: Nichijou
>2012: Hyouka
>2015: Hibike! Euphonium
>2016: Hibike! Euphonium/Koe no Katachi
>2017: Maid Dragon

At least you got the first three right.

forgot

>2014: Tamako Love Story

>K-On over The Tatami Galaxy
Kill yourself.

Likewise, both are good but only K-On is great.

That's third after K-On and SnW

>SnW
Okay I wasn't serious before but sure as hell I am now.
Kill yourself.

K-On is tops, sure, but SnW is horrible

Sup Forums needs to go back to its roots.
The shit taste must be eradicated.

...

Nope. NHK for 2006, K-On for 2009.

Tatami Galaxy was bland, not AOTY material. Ika Musume and Bakuman are better.
SnW was okay, probably falls within "good" at least, but I'd probably put it behind Bakuman and Ika Musume.

K-On is, by far, AOTY, though. If we allow sequels.

In what universe could Tatami Galaxy be considered bland, but not Ika Musume and Bakuman?

I liked Ika Musume but what sets it beyond "comfy comedy" for you?

It's called bait.
But if people don't respond to baits, Sup Forums would be dead long ago.

2011

>Tatami Galaxy was bland, not AOTY material. Ika Musume and Bakuman are better.
This is the worst bait I have seen in a while.

>NHK for 2006
Because you also disappoint your parents?
>K-On for 2009
Because you're a pedo?

2014 Akame ga kill :)

Nichijou, Usagi Drop, Hyouge Mono and Penguindrum were all better than babby's first mature maho shoujo.

I think you're on the wrong website.

(The answers to your questions are yes and no, respectively.)

K-On is like, the one little girls show where accusations of sexual intent aren't valid

Glad to see that Sup Forums is finally over its tsundere phase towards KLK.

let me fix it for you

>2009 gintama binizakura-hen
>2010 durarara
>2011 gintama'
>2012 gintama' enchousen
>2013 gintama kanketsu-hen ; yoruzuya yo eiyen ni nare
>2014 Gintama: Jump Festa 2014 Special
>2015 gintama°
>2016 mob
>2017 gintama. (worst season of the franchise but still better than all the shit that came this season !)

It was a good year for sure but Madoka was still the AOTY for 2011.

"Little girls" is also very dishonest, unless you're going to consider 15-18 "pedophilia". That would be a legitimate accusation if I were fapping to the NNB cast, but I'm not.

I didn't find it very fun. The whole idea wasn't very appealing. The other two were far more fun to watch.

Well, it was my second seasonal anime ever, so maybe I remember it as better than it was, but it was funny and cute, and I liked that about it. I have to admit it wasn't very deep or had many impactful scenes, though. Tatami Galaxy is probably better at these qualities.

>>>/MAL/

The Keions designs and behaviours could be attributed to 10 year olds characters and nobody would bat an eye.

I mean little as in, not adult.

Age means nothing in anime. 10 year olds and 20 year olds may have the same design and behavior in different anime. What matters is the portrayal in the anime. A number is pointless

because he's a self insert mc for spergs

You can make that argument for Azusa, but not the others. But I'm just wondering what you're doing on Sup Forums if you regard a light-on-fanservice show about high school girls (only one of whom even approaches loli status), directed by a woman, as "pedophilia", or treating "failure whose parents are disappointed him" as an insult when that applies to fucking all of us here.

The only reason why you faggots like The Tatami Galaxy is because you relate to it, just like how people related to 8man in Oregairu.

People who claim K-On is pedophilia don't belong on Sup Forums

I think it's more likely that it's funny and looks good.

And, you know, the fantastic visuals, brilliant dialogue, comfy music, intricate writing, fun characters, etc.
