GUESS WHO - Sup Forums EDITION

I'd like to try a new game which is guessing current and historical political figures .This is how it works:

1. One user describes a political figure with a few sentences.
2. He also tells the numbers of the letters in the figure's first name and surname.
That's so the other Anons can check wether their guess is correct without the first user having to tell them (though it'd be nice if he still does).
3. The user who posts the solution first (with picture would be nice) can describe the next figure. If he fails to do that within 5 minutes any user can describe the next figure.
4. If no one has the answer the first user can give additional clues. If he's gone any user can start again from 1.

So here it goes:

>used to to poison people for political and financial gains
>was the inspiration for a well known book
>was rumoured to have had an incestious relationship with his sister which is most likely a myth
>6+6

hitler lol

Pic related from last one.

My figure:

>emperor of the Roman Empire
>blinded many bulgarians
>repelled 3 rebellions at once

5 in first name, 10 letters in dynastic name

+6
means 6 letter first name and 6 letter surname. so it can't be hitler.

hitler would be 5+6 nerd

Joseph Stalin

my autism

what is this gay shit

No. Think late middle ages.

Besides I'm not aware of any rumours of these guys banging their sisters,

hitler had rumors about him banging his sister, who he held at his house, and later died somehow

>Next clue: Italy

Catherine de Medici?

Close but not yet.

>italy
it's a medici or someone related to them

Lorenzo medici?

6+6

jesus man

shieeet i always forget.

well cosimo medici fits the bill then.

>poisoning
that's all of italy

>well know book
many of those

>incestual relationships rumors
also all of italy

>6+6
fits as well

Julius Caesar?

>late middle ages

real or/and fictional?

It's another Italian family that was VERY powerful.
Very wrong yet funnily partly correct.

Gaius Caesar

Cesare Borgia?

Correct.

Yay.

the book is probably "The Prince".

Yep, I should have probably been more descriptive.

well i guess my next character is over here

Saint Constantine

think later in the empire

Basil?

yep

atheist
professor of physic
wrote a book under a pseudonym
7 and 6

only late emperor I could think of, but I don't know his last name

That's a difficult one. Any more clues?

this is tough cause anything else is a giveaway

he's modern 20c but he's dead now.
he also wrote a comic book about the New World Order

William Luther Pierce

one more hint
lot of people on Sup Forums love him, but many also think he's boring or was nuts

ding ding ding winner!

I literally look up "atheist professor of physic pseudonym"

>Important historical Chinese politician figure
>Took a realist approach to economic and diplomatic system
>Transform China
>4 and 8

Has to be Deng Xiaoping. Don't know any other except for Mao anyway.

Deng Xiaoping?

Correct and first!

yep, he opened up China

>was leader of a western country
>participated in a very unpopular war of this century
>4+5

I think that's already solvable.

Tony Blair?

Yes, correct.

tony blair?

Ok I'll offer more Eastern figure for you guys
>Unite an Asian nation
>Not very good at military but good at economy and used mercenary troops
>His original land was in the middle of the kingdom
>3 and 8

*United

Needs any hints?

YEP

Yeah.

Jackie chan!

>Happened during late 16th century
>Not technically unified the nation during his lifetime but was considered the pioneer
>One of his opponents was really good military strategist with superior cavalry

Oda Nobunaga (obviously had to search a bit, not from memory)

Wang Yangming

know next to nothing about China's history
never really interested

DING DING DING Winner!

Dude come on you should have answered first wtf

Me neither. I just looked up which country wasn't unified in the 16th century. Tried China first, then Japan and found his name.

>one of the most famous generals of all time
>had many different ethnicities in his army
>arguably not a good politician and diplomat
>defeated one of the greatest empires several times in battle
>lost the war nonetheless
>8+5

Easy. Hannibal Barca

Bingo.

>One of the most famous western leaders in 19th century
>Unified his country and was a master of diplomacy
>Considered a champion of nationalism and anti-Catholic Church

Sorry forgot this:
>4 and 8

Was obvious anyway. Otto von Bismarck.

Bingo! I actually saw your flag and wanted to test you. Do German people still know and learn about him?

Yeah, sure. Most important German politician in history imo.

This is probably already be too easy:
>died while bathing on a military campaign
>9+10

Or drowned at least, wasn't bathing.

Hint?

Ludwig II. of Bavaria?
