The tricky part would be that we still do not know enough about how EXACTLY genes do affect parameters like behaviour and intelligence. Many candidates have already been identified but the problem is that most of them show some crazy paradoxical effects ... this is most likely because you cannot look at these genes individually, you have to understand their interaction with other gene variants and how this network then interacts in detail. Seems that some gene variants which make people smart are dependent on certain other gene variants ... if you receive these otherwise 'good' genes in the wrong combination it totally fucks up your brain and gives you some nice mental diseases.
