Because Koreans are only good at ripping things off and they can't piece together a good story to save their lives. Everything's the lowest derivative of shounen or ecchi and the plot usually involves something with time travel. It's like if CLAMP controlled an entire industry.

Kubera is pretty great, it's character driven and pretty interesting desu, the drawings are not that great but they get better overtime. I think the biggest problem is that it starts and progresses pretty slowly.

I think Sup Forums's rejection of anything that is "non-anime" has less to do with any conflict between countries and more to do with the fact that they consider anime (and Japanese stuff in general) an identity, and anything else is automatically "not authentic" in their view.
