How much debt do you have?

Student loans for 3 undergrad (5 total majors. 2 minors), 2 masters, and one doctorate between me and the wife.
> Paid in fucking full as of December 3, 2017.

7 different credit cards.
> Paid in full

2014 car purchase
> Paid in full

2016 car purchase
> Still owe 16,463.28 as of today. Paying $1200/month to get it gone. APR at 1.99%

Paying off debt feels far better than making the original purchase. We have lived VERY frugal lives (Yes, we purchased cars but our last two 10 and 13 years old) despite making a decent combined income to make this shit happen.

user, how much debt do you have?

I have more than a dozen credit cards, but I've always paid the bill in full each and every month. So I don't consider that real debt.

I have 10 payments left on my car loan, about $7,500 left at 0.00% APR (no interest). Been using the money in the stock market and getting some decent growth in the meantime.

That's it.

We have a mortgage.

That's it. Wife and I didn't take out many student loans and got most of them forgiven. We pay off credit cards every month and our cars are paid off.

Our fucking required payments for the student loans were close to $1700/month for the two of us. We went hog wild and were plugging $4-5k per month at them, which meant we had little to no savings left over at the end of each month. It was torture. Never again.

Literally none.

God, I love being European.

0 debt.

Loving it.

$160k on the mortgage. Paid down 40k in the last 2.5 years. Fun to see how much of the payment goes toward the principle gradually rise.

Otherwise my wife and I own two cars outright, pay our credit card off every month, and have a very healthy investment portfolio for our age. Hopefully 3 white children in the next 5 years.

I owe my parents about €20K for all they spent on me since I turned 18. Obviously, they don't want me to pay them but that's not what I think. As an adult, you must take care of your own expenses and I consider the money they gave me a debt, not a hand-out.

As for banks, I haven't taken any loans yet. I'll get a house loan when I can raise 10% of a medium-sized apartment's cost (about another €20K), since paying installments would be cheaper than rent. I would never take a loan for a car, I'd rather keep taking the bus until I can afford to pay for one all at once.

none since I'm not an american

No one believes you. My guess is you live on a sofa somewhere where people are getting ready to kick you out for refusing to shower. Again. You do not work and go to an online school because “they are just as good” in order to get loan disbursement. You take the bus as you do not have a drivers license. The last time you touched a woman she cringed away from you. That was your own mother when you tried to hug her.

Tl;dr. No one believes you.

Again. Lies. Let me reiterate. Nobody believes anything you say. You may as well be a bigger trying to sell first run DVDs on the street corner.

none :D

Well ok technically I have to get around to paying of thousands on the credit card because I used it to donate to charity last month, but that's just a matter of clicking some buttons on the internet.

I have three credit cards, own a house and a new car. I have zero, I repeat ZERO, debt.

I make $60k a year now, but before that I bought all the shit I have at a $16 an hour job. Don't give the jew your money. Save and spend smart. You can do it guys.

About 6 grand on a car loan, which I will pay off next year when my work stock options come due.
I pay my credit cards in full every month because I'm not a moron.

0 debt. Actually much in plus.

Loving it.

>Paying $1200/month
Is that the payment you agreed to make monthly, or just what you're paying over the monthly minimum?

If the former, see pic

0

bsc, msc, phd. over 500k in bank at 29. cum at me nerds

>lul weedstox

Big Phat ZERO !

Why would you leave $500k to rot in a bank
>phd
oh rite I forgot most phds are just autistbots

12k student debt, just ended deferment period and I have a 60k/yr job right out of a 2yr degree, so I'm just gonna watch my credit score climb for the next couple years resisting the urge to just pay it all off at once.

Null

well its in weedstox... but mkt value is above 500k and its technically in a bank

I owe nothing to anyone. I pay for everything with cash straight up, if I can't afford it I will wait until I can.

I owe 5,000 to a relative for my car. That's interest-free.

11,000 in student loans for my undergrad(6.25)

45,000 on my house(4.275)

It's about 60,000 dollars. I have a house, a car, and a degree out of the deal.

What do you guys think?

No debt NEET, feels good man.

How will that matter in 1000 years? Will history tell of your bank account?

300k, preparing for the day of the rope as i have no chance to ever pay it

0 debt because I never make loans. I'd rather have a growling stomach and live under a bridge than be a debt slave.
Oh and I don't even borrow from friends/family because that will give them control over me with the eternal "user give me the money back by tomorrow".

and this is how you kill the juice

oy vey goyim you can't be rich if you don't use credit!

I’m in the same boat as you.

60k a year. Wife makes between 40 and 50. Marriage paid off. We aren’t 30 yet.

We probably spend about 500 a month and save the rest. No need to constantly buy dumb shit. We both are putting 15% into our own Roth’s and 401ks.

Bought a year old car, really happy with it.

No debt. I repeat no debt. Next house we buy we will pay cash. Because we have zero debt and a bunch saved, we don’t have to be tied down to jobs we hate. It’s quit freeing.

BAD GOY! YOU KNOW BUPKIS ABOUT HOW THE WORLD WORKS, YOU SCHMUCK! THIS IS ANTISEMITIC AND I'LL CALL MY LAWYAH!

I have about 30k and ended up dropping out so I have nothing to show for it.
No car loan or credit cards though

This

Falling for the going into debt in the name of consumerism meme is the literal epitome of being a good goy.

You're a retard.

GOYIM NO! You must pay for everything using plastic shekel purse with magic money.

0 I have no debt. I payed off all my debts. took a while. even the old ones I didn't really have to pay.

How? I thought mine was bad.

That's a BAD goy! A BAD BAD GOY!
Pay with credit card you stupid goy, it's so simple, so easy, and we even give you little presents for doing it!
Once you start, you'll never want to stop!

0 debt. I pay cash upfront only what I can afford.

>How much debt do you have?

$0.00

>ever taking on debt

OH SAY CAN YOU SEEEE

About $160k in non-dischargeable student loans.

>Both credit cards have 0 annual fee
>Pay in full each month so no interest
>Earn back an average of about 2.5% back
Tell me again how I am losing in this situation?

That was awfully particular. Is someone projecting?

no but itll matter to me. Or if i die its im my will to give it to an identitarian group

Pickup truck financing
>$40,000
Credit card
>$2,000
>Wifes student loans
>$14,000
Mortgage coming next month once we close

No, that's not the required amount. That's what I'm paying (almost 2x the minimum payment).

I might owe the hospital a grand, but i think they wrote it off. And never sent me anything so how am I suppose to know. not sure though maybe not.

Because if you were a good goy you'd take out a $2M loan to flip a house and get rich quick! Oy, these shmendrik goyim, what schlemiels! It never ends with these!

I have zero debt as well
there some are non retarded americans

72k in liabilities (mostly student loan), 12.5k in assets (video equipment and a vehicle) making 24k take home paying $800 rent. I'm so fucked.

Ok. So you're just going to randomly spout memes instead, got it.

Oy gevalt want to borrow some money goy?

The absolute state of your finances, leaf, you better be doing everything to can to pay off the credit card ASAP

Zero debt. Proudly don't even have a credit card. Can never understand American obsession with credit cards, if you can pay it off in full at the end of every month, why not just pay directly and save yourself the 25% interest rate most credit cards have?

I have zero debt but about $800 left in probation fees that are all due tomorrow. Spent the little cash I actually have on an ounce of weed and am smoking it all the next 24 hours before the cops come knocking

At my desk, in my house, burning a sick day because my dirty coworkers come into the office when sick to prove they are good worker bees when bonuses are being handed out.

I'm European but have £50k in student debt

Starting a new job next week so I'll be able to work on it soon

Nah, using basically free credit to arbitrage ROI is key to a lot of rich people thinking. But that depends on the right connections and skills to not find yourself upside down or Jewed over by people who you thought were your friends.

I'm a little to no debt kind of guy because that makes life simple and easy compared to always wondering where you're going to get enough shekels from. And if I want to do a little casino gambling on the side I don't have to worry if I make a losing bet.

0
Why the fuck do you use a credit card ? Don't purchase what you can't afford

and i shit best buy out of 200 bucks opps. what are you perfect.

No debt.

You apparently don't understand credit cards.

Businesses already charge the customer expecting they will use a credit card. Most credit cards give cashback on purchases (up to 5%, but usually 2%). If you pay your bill in full at the end of the month, you are charged no interest. $0.

Proper use of credit cards saves you more money than using cash.

Rewards points. Plus no risk of getting stolen from.

Over $600 minimum monthly payment ? What kinda car is it?

You do realize if you pay in full each month you don't pay interest right? It's also good to have the lines of credit in case something really bad happens such as losing a job or sudden expense. I feel better knowing that I have 30k in credit lines because if something unexpected came up I wouldn't be shit out of luck.

Moving expenses, emergency vet bills, and other misc expenses. We only carried a balance for six weeks because we paid too much towards our student loans and didn't foresee a big, emergency expense.

We use different credit cards for different point/miles bonuses.

What about karma debt faggot. I have a manageable amount of doubt, because I never aimed high when it came to earthly matters.

Persons who are old enough to post on here are allways endebted to someone.

I'm working my way to pay of my karma with monies. It's less of a hassle.

>Student loans for 3 undergrad (5 total majors. 2 minors), 2 masters, and one doctorate between me and the wife.
?????

Mortgage
>Owe about £98,000
Credit Card (only have one)
>Owe about £600

Don't owe anything other than the above.

>work on it
>soon

No, retard, you forego any and all luxuries for a couple of months, immediately, so you can pay off your credit card immediately. Don't be a fucking numb-nuts.

None. Didn't fall for the college meme. Bought a used car with $3000 cash six years ago. Been renting a house with a few friends for the past year, and I plan to pay cash for a cheap house.

even i use CC for international transactions as jewpal's exchange rates are a fucking joke
especially for EUR/USD
just don't buy what you cannot effort

Graduating with bachelor's and 0 debt next year.

me - 2 majors and a minor
wife - graduated once with a psych degree, went back for a second degree after working for a year and to help her get into a better grad program (2 majors the first time, 1 major and one minor the second time).

can't pay off a credit card if I don't have money. It would be naive to assume I haven't already made the cut backs to make payments on it

a lot of premium cards do not charge international transaction fees. You just pay the conversion rate.

Only $25 left out of $100. I only use credit cards to keep my credit up. I have few temptations because there are only few things that I want. So, I don't worry too much about credit debts.

I never paid mine, is it a requirement to be discharged from probation where you're at? I'm supposed to be done this month but dont have the money to pay $600 fucking dollars right now.

>t. daddy paid for the degree

kys

I have zero debt. I am a poorfag, but I have zero debt and I am a free man.

None at all, but I'm not American.
>oy vey, my mortgage firm is going bankrupt when you rent!
>at least use a credit card goy

It's always odd that no one on the internet has any debt but almost everyone I know in real life has debt. Strange times.

Which is why he uses the credit card. PayPal will use a fixed conversion rate which might be more or less than the actual rate plus 1% which is what he was wanting to avoid.

was paying for this car forever, way after it was totaled and I had a new car.

Maybe that's how they work in the US. Here you get no cash back and insanely high interest rates.
Also, when you buy anything in cash you get 10-15% discounts on anything that's not groceries.

College drop out
Lives with mum
04' car paid with cash no problems
65k in cash buying a house with it this spring.
>zero debt. 25yr old.

that's why i am using them instead of wire transfer or jewpal
this way i get the exchange rate of the day i made the transaction without any fairy tale fees added on top

about 4K in credit card debt and 4K down to 1.5K I owe to the IRS.

It is the opposite here. No one gives a cash discount so there is no reason not to use the credit card since we get rewards.

Student loans for a BS, MS, and (soon) PhD - ~$60k
Car loans - ~$10k
Credit cards - ~$1k

All things considered, not bad. Once I finish my doctorate I'm looking at $55-60k starting in post-doc work in academia, or $65-70k starting if I go into applicable industry work. I can dump a third of my paycheck on loans and have most of my shit paid off in a few years.

Gun stores give a cash discount.

Just bought a house. 180k

Why would anyone lie on an anonymous board? Total truth here.

Didn't know that, the few times I've paid cash for a gun it's been to an individual.

>which might be more or less
never seen it being less than the actual rate

I get like $500/yr in free Amazon bux just for buying my groceries and gas with the credit card. The scheme is that now it's Amazon that gets a free $500/yr. Not really "cash" per se.
