ironicaly enough we from the interior consider cosmopolitanites artificial/plastic porto is not too bad, we/they still have some soul, but the people from lisboa... they need to get out more, know the country they claim to be part of.
also saudade is predominantly a thing betwen coimbra and lisboa/margem sul. Alentejo is quirky (when they finaly do something, that is), beira interior (as viseu is) is stuck betwen no investment and shrinking population. Minho is our heart, our most tradition heavy region. Alto douro (amarante, régua, etc) is a bit like minho but with completely diferent traditions and finaly trás os montes is another country which has been frozen in time. Dunno about algarve and lower alentejo (beja), never went there desu.
