I really enjoyed Diana getting blown the fuck out. Though it is unfortunate that the suffering of the poor is abused to install those obviously evil devices.

>political view
Don't start these discussions here for the love of christ.

i don't get it

A shame but commies must be all shot on the back of the head.

supporting unions is only a very low level of socialism. (unions are also good.)

Socialism is literally anarchy for bourgeois faggots.

AKKO CANNOT BE A FUCKING COMMIE!

Mods please give OP a free helicopter ride

She gets get a free ride

I think it's fucking great, I would join a labor union with her.

Didn't unions kill the entire American animation industry?

Propaganda. In Japan unions in Toei are the major reason why Mushi Production, Madhouse, MAPPA, Sunrise and Bones exist/existed.

Akko joining the fairies was hilarious. I like the developments too, can't help but project a traditional vs. digital animation argument onto these kinds of situations.

Your check from Koch Industries has been delivered.

Didn't animators first unionize in 2008 so how the hell could they impact Sunrise? Also unions led to Toei cutting Corners and outscouring animation to the Philippines.

I'm glad the issues of the faeries wasn't ENTIRELY a joke, like they straight up deserve magic more than the witches, considering they need it to live.

I hate how this looks like it's gonna turn into a "technology is evillll" aesop tho, I hope they dial back a bit on the scheming and add some nuance to Croix.

Isn't that more of a burn on Toei than the unions? Fuck them for hiring scabs.

Shooting your political opponents or, even worse, wasting valuable fuel on a helicopter is inefficient. The Russians proved it was far better to force pig capitalists into labor camps. Once again, the Soviet way of life is proven superior to silly fascism.

If animators unionized how are they being paid below minimal wage?

Yes , but Toei was the company with the largest union drama, their animators created their own union, with demands so high that they couldn't produce Anime in Japan anymore, ironically this led to them outscourcing 90% of their work.

Only a minority of the animators are members in the union.
>animators paid below minimum wage
I am not particularly knowlegdeble about Japanese wage law, but animators are largely freelancer paid by frame or cut.

Animators tried to unionize several times at Toei back in like 1960, and the Eien Roren, to which they got affiliated to, already existed since 1952. Conditions were even worse than now and there was a lot of corruption in the administration.

>with demands so high that they couldn't produce Anime in Japan anymore, ironically this led to them outscourcing 90% of their work
>demands so high
Not wanting to be a slave is not that high of a demand. Since the Japanese kind of didn't want to be slaves anymore they were discarded in favor of people from the third world who were willing to be slaves. I don't see how you can blame Japanese workers for this with a straight face.

This was specifically at Toei not at any different Anime studio, in the end it caused them to lose their jobs.
I know that it is nice to live in a ideal world detached from reality, but the fact is that Anime isn't particularly profitable and higher animator wages would end up killing the industry
