Berserk

Are you enjoying the new season so far Sup Forums?

No.

Have not even seen the first season I forgot this existed. I'll continue to do that Berserk is a good manga it does not need a anime adaptation to be good. The old adaptation is only saved by its soundtrack.

>Plot finally moving forward, Caska gonna get un-potatoed
Perfect time to go on a haitus, then release anime based on plot retreaded for the nth time already.

yup

Expected way worse, was pleasantly surprised. Any guess where this season will end?

least i'll find out how to pronounce loli witches name

When they get on the boat so actually pretty close to where the manga is right now

I thought I was the only one. She's a cute

She's not ready for what's in the deepest part of Casca's mind ;_;

It looks way way way better then the first season even if it is disgusting 3D shading. The opening OP is weak as fuck though compared to S1.

I knew it was part and parcel when animating a mango, especially one with so many volumes but holy SHIT are they screaming past at eye lid rending speeds past huge amounts of content and story. I get you have to condense but we are getting like 1/5th the whole picture at their current rate.

>The opening OP is weak as fuck though compared to S1.
It lacks the punch of S1's OP but I don't dislike it. The softer nature of the OP actually feels like something more relevant to Golden Age era Berserk, but at the same time I would say it also reflects the gradual shift in tone that the manga had after the Conviction Arc towards a less visceral Berserk.

Just binge watched the first episode and I'd say it looks a little better
I can't wait to see how they shit up the berserk armor, though

Why did guts rape casca

He didn't rape her.

He really wanted to fug her because he has feelings for her and by canon has not gotten any ass in almost 2 years. Well maybe that one apostle chick but we're not counting that.

He falls over her to discover her naked and tits exposed in his face. He was overcome with years of frustration and emotion for Casca along with his hate boner for Griffith. The inner demon was wanting to rape her like Griffith so they could share the experience. Another layer of his hate and desire for Griffith. It was more about malice and sacrifice and hurting Casca then just sex. The inner demon was about violence and vengeance. It recognized Casca as an obstacle in it'd goal to kill Griffith.

There are like 27 fucking onion layers to this thing. Sort and simple is he is a man dying of thirst in a desert and Casca is an oasis of sweet sweet thirst quenching ass that he knows is wrong to drink from.

I like S2 Op more because of the part that shows guts with the white in his hair and he just looks so badass and the music fits that part pretty well.

>people actually liking it
What the fuck is wrong with people. It still looks like shit.

Horrendous CGI 99% of the time aside, it's not that bad seeing the manga being acted out. Makes me appreciate the manga more as well desu. Plus, there is fuck all else to watch this season.

It's not even a good adaption. The pacing was way off in episode 14.

I refuse to watch this garbage and so should you

requestiong a webm of the berserker dog coming out of the fire. oh man was that worst thing i ever saw.

That and the glorious 90's character designs.

>no loli witch will ever whump you

They managed to fuck up one of my favorite moments of the entire manga with the shitty CG. Seriously why did the dragonslayer turn into a fucking lightsaber lmao

I dropped at the first 5 minutes

I just can't

Must suck to be stuck with bad CG, broken, brown Caska, while other people can enjoy handdrawn, wholesome, aryan Caska.

Imagine if Mappa did Berserk with how they are animating Bahamut. Then again the only reason why Bahamut looks so good is because of the shit ton of cash that Cygames threw into it.

casca > that slut

What? Because she flirted with Kaisar?
Cut her some slack. She's only human.

Yes, and I'm not even watching it.

Doesn't Bahamut have the same character designer as the films?

> It looks way way way better then the first season

No it doesn't. Not at all. Nothing was improved.

Yes. Also, Kubooka Toshiyuki, who directed the movies, will be storyboarding one episode.

user she's gonna be thrown in jail again. But after that hopefully she'll be useful and not mindbroken this time

Few scenes with apostles were good too

It looks like shit, but it's still Berserk

i swear to god this anime is gonna turn me into a potato, how can anyone watch this shit and not become legally brain dead?

yep

I'll wait for the next chapter before I watch a minute of that bastardized adaption.

Holy shit it's terrifying

Hey i was just finished reading the birth ceremony arc, so what happened, what's the aftermath of the birth ceremony arc and what did he mean in pic related?

How did fucking Berserk get 3D adaptation anyways? Is berserk really that disliked in Japan?

They won't do the same stupid subplot twice, right?
I just want Jeanne and Kaisar to be the badass normals hanging out with demons and virgin dragons and shit.

>reminisce about Griffith
>jazzy porn BGM plays

Really makes you think

>It looks way way way better then the first season even if it is disgusting 3D shading
Looks the exact same except the camera isn't flailing around as much.
>The opening OP is weak as fuck though compared to S1
Fuck you.

Why did they skip LC arc?

too brutal
too much underage nudity
too hard to animate

>Too hard to animate
Not that they are even trying.

>The shape of the world began to crumble.
Well, as you'll see later on, the world's gonna go to shit because it has somewhat fused with the astral world, so a lot of monsters are gonna spawn (see troll arc).

It really doesn't, cool overused memetalk tho

I'm quite enjoying the 2nd poorly rendered CGI season of CLANG: The Adventures of Guts the Cuck and Griffith's Retarded Sloppy Seconds
