I thought of dropping FAG then this happened
Good so far:
>Shirobako Quest
>Re:Creators
>Idolm@ster: Kaede and Some Other Girls
On the bubble:
Renai Boukun was kind of dumb, but I'll give it the three episodes. Could easily drop it.
Dropped/Stalled:
Hinako Note was too silly even for CGDCGT.
I want to try F.A.G., but the CG looks crummy and the story insipid.
Tsuki ga Kirei is on the backlog.
Shingeki no Bahamut
Saekano
Kyokai no Rinne
Natsume Roku
Boruto
Kabukibu!
Plan to watch:
Danmachi: Sword Oratoria
Atom The Beginning
The only ones I'm interested in are Eromanga-sensei and Fukumenkei Noise.
>SQ
Poor man's Shirobako
>Hinako Note
Poor man's Wakaba Girl
>FAG
Enjoyable
>Alice

Enjoyable
Probably the weakest season in a long while, good thing my backlog got a few titles larger last year.
Berserk
The only things I really liked so war were FAG and Uchouten.
Made my spring chart at last.
Hopefully, I'll be adding 3 more rainbows later this week. And yes, sunday and friday are THAT strong this season.
I'm enjoying Alice to Zouroku, Eromanga Sensei, Sakura Quest, FAG, and witch Shimakaze. These plus Re:Creators (which can end up great or a total trainwreck) are the ones I look forward to the most.
Rokudenashi, Busou Shoujo, and Renai Boukun are just dumb fun that I probably won't drop. Picking up Danmachi/Granblue this weekend.
Kimi no Na wa ruined me. Everything feels cheap and a chore to watch.
That said, I marked the ones I got around to watching. So far, I guess I'm enjoying FAG the most with Granblue second.
Every time I read these threads, I'm always reminded of how plebeian tier most of Sup Forums actually is.
>only even attempting to watch 1 or 2 shows, then concluding that there is nothing good worth watching this season
>these are the people who tell you that your favorite anime is shit
>they probably associate with women like the cunt in this documentary
My list:
>High quality, expect these anime to be very enjoyable
Bushou Shoujo Machiavellianism
Rokudenashi Majutsu Kyoushi
Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasuka
Alice to Zouroku
Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou Sho
Tsugumomo
Sakura Quest
>Sequels I am enjoying
Little Witch Academia
SaeKano S2
Shingeki no Kyojin S2
Shingeki no Bahamut S2
>Questionable quality, but following out of interest and curiosity so far
Eromanga Sensei
Re-Creators
Renai Boukun
Clockwork Planet
Gin no Guardian
Frame Arms Girl
Seikaisuru Kado
Hinako Note
>Not interested
the other sequels
Sagrada Reset
Twin Angel Break
>Haven't tried yet
ID-0
Fukumenkai Noise
anything else not explicitly mentioned
Hero Academia probably my favorite at the moment. SnK and Bahamut are alright enough.
As far as stuff that isn't a second season, finding myself enjoying Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism and really anticipating more Re:Creators. Renai Boukun is also enjoyable, but something about the pacing kinda made me feel oddly anxious.
Sakura Quest is comfy, but a little boring. I might drop it unless the characters really grow on me. Warau Salesman is also a tad boring but it's something to watch when I'm caught up on everything else.
How can someone get anxious when watching Renai Boukun? It has about the same level of suspense as an American cartoon.
>Stewie knifes Peter through the skull
>next scene, he walks it off, no big deal
ID-0
Sakura Quest if you wanted Shirobako to be about Gainax.
If you haven't watched the first seasons of Uchoten Kazoku and Shingeki no Bahamut, do so.
Kabukibu is kinda gay, but so was Rakugo. Give it a try.
But really, any rainbow or silver here
>watching a pile of trash
>calling anyone else a pleb
Only watching Ninja Girl S2 and continuining with LWA from last season.
Yeah, it's called trying everything for yourself and not being a fag. There are about 24 new and continuing anime. At about 22 minutes per episode, that's a little under 9 hours of anime. Considering that you don't expect to continue watching ALL of those weekly, it's a one time investment of time that you can spread out over a whole week or more.
Consider how much time you spend shitposting on Sup Forums, shitting up threads of anime you've never seen because the memes are funny. Is that really how you want to live your life?
>a pile of trash
How do you know? It's not like you watched half of those shows.
It's not that sort of anxiousness. It's just sort of a discomfort with how quickly everything seems to happen. Like it just feels a bit busy I guess?
It takes "non-serious anime" to a level that is not commonly seen. Nothing wrong with that, but shows like this tend to be kind of unmemorable. Take Macademi Wasshoi, for example.
Bahamut and Natsume. I tried some new shows but didn't stick with them.
Shingeki no Kyojin, Natsume Yuujinchou, Bahamut and Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. I tried Re:Creators because of the Kamille Bidan clone and her mecha, but I was put off by how generic the characters were and how the direction of the first episode was completely all over the place.
edited the chart, this is what I'm watching and I enjoyed pretty much all of it so far. Favorite first ep was Re:Creators.
I only dropped Sakura Quest but I might let go of Alice, Tsuki ga Kirei, and Seikai Suru Kado depending on their next few eps.
I haven't even picked stuff.
Then leave Sup Forums.
Sagrada Reset is the only possible drop thing so far.
Think that I'm enjoying so far the most not including Sequels,
Clockwork Planet.
Rokudenashi.
Alice to Zourouku.
Tsugumomo.
Not watching:
>School romance drama bullshit( sakurada reset, Fukumenkei Noise; giving tsuki ga kirei one more episode)
>That soccer anime
>second(or sixth) seasons of stuff I didn't see the previous season of. But fist ep of Bahamut made me decide to watch the first season at least.
>cute girls doing sad things and dying horrible deaths of the season(SukaSuka) Loved that kind of shit years ago but not anymore
>5 minute crap
Watching the remaining ~20 series up until ep 3 at least. Too early to decide what's good or not yet.
Maybe r/anime would be more your speed.
I don't think I'm interested in a single thing this season.
Hardly my fault that the season is shit and I'm not gonna watch shit just to participate in threads.
>(or sixth)
You only have to watch the first three episodes of it to know if it's for you or not. It wasn't for me. I think the same kind of people who watch Natsume Yuujinchou are the same kind of people who watch Uchouten Kazoku. I.e., females and gays.
>cute girls doing sad things and dying horrible deaths of the season(SukaSuka) Loved that kind of shit years ago but not anymore
At least it's not magical girl anime like YuYuYu, Madoka or that clone magical girl anime from last season.
Picked up:
SnK 2
Clockwork Planet
Tsugumomo
That one with the fairies and the really long title
Re Creators
Dropped:
Machiavellianism
Akashic Record
Sakura Quest

>It know it's all shit even though I haven't actually tried watching anything.
Plebbit, pls go.
>Dropped
>Sakura Quest
>ID-0
Why?
This has got to be a troll post.
Dropped Seikai Suru Kado. Didn't realize it was targeting the female demographic from the promo image..
So 1/7. May drop Alice too.
>dropping Akashic Records despite having one of the best MC in its genre.
?
>Didn't realize it was targeting the female demographic
Why do you say that? The 0th episode was good.
Who eternal backlog here?
idk, i was busy these days.
Seen: 16. Pick: 12
On hold: 17
specially Tsugumomo.. im waiting for this animation.
youtu.be
Maybe he just doesn't like the magical academy battle harem genre.
Full 3DCG is cancer and Bubuki was absolute shit as well.
Sakura Quest is mediocre all around and the premise is the most forced I have seen recently.
>AOTS
LWA
>Great
Sakura Quest
Natsume 6
Shingeki no Bahamut 2
>Good
Uchouten 2
>Okay
Warau Salesman
>Meh
Granblue
Zero Kara
Shuumatsu Nani
>Dropped
Everything else
I need to download more and more anime, even shit that I presently have no interest in. Bakabt just closed its doors. When other anime sites inevitably die, I need to have enough backlog to last me through the apocalypse.
>Watching harems for the MC
Literally the only 2 shows I haven't dropped are Sakura Quest and Re:Creators (although I sort expect that to become a trainwreck)
The 3ep rule is retarded, some of you guys really need to get some taste
And the other two? What is your excuse for dropping Silver Link's opus for the season, Busou Shoujo? Any answer besides "I am a homosexual retard" will be denied.
>ShukaSuka
I find MC, the girls, and the lolis likable
>Re:Creators,
pls be gud... since it's 24 episode battles and I'm not fond of the MCs so far I have high chance of dropping it
>Sakurada Reset
>Boruto
>maybe gonna pick up Natsume, but I haven't even watched 3rd season
>Eromanga-sensei
>hyped for Room Mate side M
>kenka banchou otome
>maybe Saekano s2
>alice to zouroku
eh it has Kaworu clone but I don't think the anime pander that much to girls
>pick up sanzigen show
>drop it because it's full 3DCG
I can only think of 10 year old memes to say.
>being able to watch harems with shit MCs
That's why.
>Can't enjoy a show for a good interesting character.
This season has some insanely hard hitting shows. I was not expecting this level of quality especially after that last few seasons of mediocrity.
Shuumatsu's opening in particular was spine shivering.
>he didn't watch Color Wars
Either you have terrible taste, or else you didn't actually try to watch much else.
>anthropomorph rice
>RICE
how high were the creators as they thought about this?
Still checking every ep1 like every season
Its all shit so far, like every season.
Of course not, it had terrible girls. Episode 1 rule.
Alice

Sukasuka
Don't care for the rest much
It's easy to spot a casualfag like you who is lying to boost his own ego because you give no specifics. What kind of person dedicates 9+ hours to watching anime, but can't take 2 minutes to jot down a few notes as a reply to a thread dedicated to talking about what he just did?
I'm guessing that all you watched was shit like Boruto, Clockwork Planet and maybe some yaoibait like Oushitsu Kyoushi
You seem to care more about my opinion than I do, I find that amusing.
0/10.
Please take Sup Forums more seriously if you're going to continue posting here without lurking for the required 2 years before posting. Otherwise, fuck right off to r/anime.
Ihave been here for 12 years already.
I cant take anime seriously anymore however, dont worry this might be the last time I post here period.
daimao wa a literal 0/10 anime
>12 years
I thought you were lying at first but then I just realized I've been here for 11 years myself. Jesus Christ where does the time go.
You know that "wa" isn't Japanese for "is," don't you?
I guarantee that you haven't been here for 12 years.
People who aren't watching or have dropped Hinako Note should evaluate their well being and eventually consider suicide. The world needs less bad taste
I am saving GochiUsa S2 for a rainy day. If I want to watch that, I'll just watch that.
Drugs are more of a danger to productivity more than creativity, and I don't think the creators needed any help with a dull idea.
Still, if there is a character named Texas Long Grain with a massive cock I'm picking this up.
I just cant do SOL anymore.
Why would I watch a knock-off Gochiusa?
Boy, am I glad that I have an account and terabytes of anime on hand already. Didn't even know they had become private
Same. I actually feel like I should buy more harddrives lately, been having to prune anime due to having filled my 7TB's
Because there's no more Gochiusa left to watch.
I'm watching Bort and Re:Creators. I was going to pick up Sakura Quest, but I'm watching some shit from my backlog instead.
I enjoy the beginning of each season because I get to groan and shout at anime for being awful.
Then I drop 99% of it, but the first episodes are fun like that in a way.
>Hero Academy
>Attack on Titan
>Shingeki no Bahamut
I'll check out Sekai no Yami Zukan, and holy shit Dual Masters is still a thing, neat?
I really liked that recent Gants:0 movie, and wish there were more anime like it.
Might Drop FAGirls, will drop Clockwork Planet, might drop Tsugumomo (might just stick to reading the Manga but check out how some fights are animated),
Have been meaning to watch the first episode of Alice to Zouroku and Akashic Records.
Will continue watching Boku no Hero, MonstrikeS2, Re:Creators, Renai Bouken, VRAINS (when it's out), Ai ni tsukeru kusuri wa Nai, LWA, and Will watch AOT S2 on Toonami with the fags at on toonami general for a nice laugh.
Wanna check out Uchouten Kazoku (though I need to watch S1), Girl Beats Boys, sin Nanatsu no Taizai, Atom:the Beginning
Unsure if I'll continue watching Machiavellism
I've got like way to much on my plate
Just watching shuumatsu right now for example
>city full of furries
>only human girl in town manages to fall from the sky on top of the only human male
I cant stop laughing at how shit this is.
You just don't like anime.
>Might Drop FAGirls,
Why? Are you gay and retarded?
Yeah I know, my taste changed and I cant go back 10 years into the past, but I found a way to still make it entertaining so thats good enough for me.
She didnt fall on him. And having furries as background charcters is better than having one as main character like in that new Re:SHIT show
Said might. I'm in the unsure corner right now. Wanna wait until the twins and eyepatch appear before I make the decision
>that new Re:SHIT show
You know it's not a sequel or in any way related, right?
Best so far:
>Akashic Records
Top contenders:
>Alice to Zouroku
>Zero kara Hajimeru
>Clockwork Planet
>SukaSuka
Worst shows this season, but not enough that I'd drop them:
>Frame Arms Girl
>Busou Shoujo Machiavelism
Also watching:
>Boruto
>Eromanga-sensei
>Hinako Note
>Kenka Banchou Otome
>Renai Boukun
>Attack on Titan s2
>Tsugumomo
Haven't picked up this many shows in a very long time. Best season in a long time, by far.
Akashic Records and Busou Shoujo are both enjoyable.
>people unironically watching Space God Ninjas: burrito edition
>Top contenders:
>>Alice to Zouroku
>>Zero kara Hajimeru
>>Clockwork Planet
>>SukaSuka
>Worst shows this season, but not enough that I'd drop them:
>>Frame Arms Girl
>>Busou Shoujo Machiavelism
I have a feeling that you can't tell the difference between quality writing and high production value. Did you also think that Maid Dragon was the best anime of last season?
Frame Arm Girls is just boring, there's no substance behind it. Machiavelism is okay but it makes me too angry to properly appreciate it.
Define "substance" and explain how any of your top contenders have it.
Watching and Enjoying:
>Renai Boukun
>Eromanga Sensei
>Shingeki no Bahamut: VIRGIN SOUL
>Alice to Zouroku
>SAKURA QUEST
>Warau Salesman NEW
>Hinako Note
>Little Witch Academia
Possible drop, but still watching:
>Souryo to Majiwaru Shikiyoku no Yoru ni
Dropped:
>GRANBLUE FANTASY
I plan on watching Atom: the beginning when it comes out as well.
machiavellanism or any sliver shit production will never be an example quality writing and high production value. The same applies to lidenshit and akashit records.
Both shows having unironic shills around here doesnt change the cold hard facts
>if it doesn't have good effects its automatically shit
Pretentious redditors should leave
>or any sliver shit production will never be an example quality writing and high production value.
You hilariously missed my point by a wide margin and confirmed my suspicions at the same time.
Just when you thought Female MC, fujoshit, and fagbait couldn't get any worse.
Buy the BDs Jamal.
After 5 minutes of Kabukiku, I've learned I don't like Kabuki at all. It sounds like how somebody with no acting talent would do an impression of somebody with no acting talent.
