This anime was fun!

This anime was fun!

I'm watching it for the first time now. Up to episode 17. I'm glad the power ranges phase is over. That part was weak as fuck.

It would have been a 9/10 if they dropped the gay shit and kept things the way they were before guillotine gorilla.
Unfortunately it shat the bed and ended up a 4 at best.

I can appreciate it for being ambitious and going through a whole bunch of hero genres. It's a cool idea. The start was definitely the best bit though.

what was his name again?

OJ Simpson

>and kept things the way they were before guillotine gorilla.
That had no potential other than to be a shitty kickass
What we got was a masterpiece, the only bad part was sentai part really

I really don't understand why people thought this show was good. Random shit happens then it goes full fucking nonsense in the second half. It was non focused and inconsistent

it was great watching it with Sup Forums trying to predict what would happen next

>Great first opening with original animation
>Second opening is mediocre with rehashed footage from an episode

So fucking triggered.

IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES

I'm considering doing a rewatch of the series soon. I wonder if the drive is still around, I lost all the ost tracks I downloaded when my pc died last year.

You really miss the point of the series if that is how you feel. It is a pastiche to all things Toku and heroism first and foremost.

Ironically despite the undertones the two main characters were flat out confirmed not gay in the post-interview, so you worrying over nothing there.

pretty good

This anime was great!

I really miss this ride. I will never forget guillotine Gorilla and everything that came after. I wish the studio could somehow comeback and make a series based of either Harikiri Sunshine, or Red Axe. I'm still irked that we never found who Harakiri Sunshine was even though he's about as prevalent as Red Axe.

the sentai part didn't have enough time to grow like the other parts.

SamFlam will forever remain one of my favorite shows of all time. It's the true definition of a flawed masterpiece.

It was good fun, but it should have ended at alien flamenco, the last arc made me like the rest of the anime less.

SIT DOWN
I miss the threads

The sad part was the second OP song was good. I wish they did something with it.

Man i still remember that curve ball.
I was watching it with those 23 other anons before this episode skyrocketed the views.
It was fun.

Second OP is great though.

Remind me again, at what episode did the gorilla appear?

I tried to watch it, first episode was boring and second episode I felt like it was terrible so I dropped it

Now I kinda regret it

Furious George

>this was fun in the most fucking stupid kind of way
FTFY
its also the best kind of way

Harakiri Harambe

>first episode was boring
>second episode I felt like it was terrible
>Now I kinda regret it
You should.

Man what the fuck even was this anime?
JUSTICE

I miss this show and the threads so much what a fucking show. A wild ride all the way to the very end.

>all those theories about grandpa being behind Masayoshi's parents' deaths
>all that autistic shitflinging about if Mari was raep or not
>no one being ready for Furious George
>absolutely no one being ready for APPROVAL RATINGS and onwards

Take me back, Sup Forums. This was the last time I enjoyed a show so much with you guys.

Domestic Violence #1 a best

Seriously, with Samumenco and Kill la Kill airing on the same day, Sup Forums will never reach those levels of hype again.

Agreed

Btw.

I recommend watching episode 18 last. JUST before you see the final 5 minutes of 22, watch 18 in its entirety.

Trust me. Episode 18, to me, is the REAL ending to Samumenco

what a ride

Did anyone ever predict anything accurate in this series?
The kid coming back at the end, the american superhero being a disguise, was anyone able to predict a single curveball?

>you will never ride such a ride ever again

>The same week Hase died in Gaim is the same week we had a redshirt melted to death by Orange Juice

This show had some weird levels of meta.

bifuricating baboon

The coolest part about watching this was that even though I was completely spoiled on Guillotine Gorilla, the anime wasn't ruined in the slightest regarding twists.
Can't say that about many shows, like once you're spoiled on the big twist in Madoka it isn't as fun as if you weren't.

I've dropped this show twice now.

Any time there is a maid dragon (dropped episode 10) , little witch (dropped ep 3) I keep thinking about samflam.......
It consumes me even though I know it will only hurt me
