yes

no

Maybe

I don't know

Nah I liked the manga. Just take it for what it is: shonen.

CAN YOU REPEAT THE QUESTION?!

Fag

No, but sometimes, being disappointing is even worse than merely being bad.

You shouldn't know

>Was it really all that bad?
yeah kinda.
the soul society stuff was a mess and felt like a different manga entirely.
waaay too many characters.
abrupt ending with little to no closure.

at some point i think most people kept reading because they already invested so much time into it.
like how i'm still watching dragonball super even though its 86 episodes in and pure ass.

Yes, Soul society was trash. The only decent arcs were the beginning and fullbring up until it hit the ending of it.

Yes. Continuing the story after Aizen's defeat was meaningless.

Bleach really needed to be tied up and he should have wrapped his ideas into a new project.

New bleach and old bleach could have both been quite good as separate projects.

But it's more like a seinen, the cast is too laid back to be shounen.

At first it was pretty cool, but after the Soul Society arc, yeah it kinda was. Maybe if Kubo didn't do the Soul Society arc again except in a less interesting location and with shittier fights and also ended it after Aizen's defeat, it would've turned out pretty good. As it stands, though, it's just generally disappointing.

I'll say it again, Bleach threads are no longer welcomed in Sup Forums just like Naruto and One Piece are. The later though does get new chapters so that warrants a topic.

Bleach is fucking over and dead.

The series was cancelled because the author was a failure, and the magazine called it out for all of the delaying techniques it used just to stay relevant instead of being a more concise and well developed franchise.

I wouldn't consider it in the Trifecta, that's currently Dragonball, Naruto and One Piece right now. Bleach was just a series that overstayed its welcome.

It COULD have been a 7/8 out of 10, but the inexcusable conclusion to Aizen and the rushed last arc drag it to 5 at best. Bleach just screams wasted potential.

The Heart.

>Come now, Sup Forums. Was it really all that bad?
It was great. Wildest ride ever.

It went dramatically downhill part of the way through Hueco Mundo

Comfy Ghostbusters and Soul Society were top-tier shonen action

Yes. Muh OTP was BTFO.

It had some legit good stuff here and there.

IchigoXTatsuki?

Ghostbuster arc 6.5/10
SS arc 8/10 and it had an iconic scene that will be remembered for ever that was "BAN-KAI"
Arrancar/Vizard arc 6/10
Hueco mundo arc 5.5/10
Fullbring arc 4/10
Quincy invasion 7/10
Final arc 3/10

I miss the weekly threads.

Yeah it was pretty bad. If it had at least ended in a satisfying way I could forgive how shitty it became in the middle, but the ending was as crummy as it was abrupt. Final arc full of asspulls and dumb reveals and a million loose ends. Good riddance to Bleach, it was clear Kubo had no idea what he was doing.

New novel when?

Oh look, another Bleach apologist thread. Goody.

Still better than One Piece

Needed more Aizen.

I remember a decade ago Rukia was the waifu of every fourth user or so.

Yes, then no, then yes again.

>Quincy invasion 7/10
>Final arc 3/10
Aren't they the same?

i dunno how that fucker isn't blacklisted.

kubo does make great
>anekis
>ara aras
>shotas
>yankee thugs
>serious ass kicking girls.

Seriously when did you stop giving a fuck about ichigo and care for more for side characters?

I 'member that we had threads dedicated to Rukia alongside Bleach threads.

What is Tit doing nowadays? Anyone else hired him?

It lost it's luster when it stopped being punk rock surrealism and went full on poetic emo

It was the best out of the big three all the way till the end of the Soul Society arc.

if i loved bleach all the way to the end of SS arc do you think id like the next couple arcs? Hueco Mundo as a location looks cool to me

Nope, try again. Even Gintama is better than Bleach.

Bleach is like drinking a hot cup of delicious coffee so slowly that it ends up cooling and tasting worse the longer you drink

But you still finish the cup, with tears in your eyes.

im a strong man user

Can he even be bothered working anymore?

I really like the art style above anything else. Cant say much for the story as far as the last arc goes. Wish we had seen more aizen shenanigans.

Alright Sup Forums, it's time. Time to confess all your fantasies and sins about Bleach.

In 2011, I often self-inserted as a mute Elite Knight from Dark Souls getting into trouble with the Gotei

the whole zero squad fiasco shoudve turned EVERYONE off but somehow there were still readers left

lots of anekis being kind to me.
getting in fights with shota and loli brats
getting in fights with my yankee thug bros
getting mishandled by anekis

top tier post

My mind would run wild with possible sword names, what abilities and bankai's they would have and what not

I honestly want to say yes, but we would never have seen god-tier character such as pic related. So I guess at the time where Kubo was able to make good characters Bleach was genuinely a good serie.

YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME NOW

Hueco Mundo was literally the Soul Society arc all over again. And most of the Arrancar were just discount versions of the Shinigami. I mean holy shit, Grimmjow was just an extremely edgy Renji.

How is a lustful loner hollow who only wishes to fight the very best comparable to a beta shinigami who only wishes to protect those he cares about?

He served as Ichigo's mid-boss, punk-ass rival who acts like a jackass. And if you want to go further, Ulquiorra was basically Byakuya.

When is the Hisago novel coming out? I mean goddamn, it's taking forever.

it's like you don't even ADVENTURE or something

user there is a difference between using the characters the same way with every arc and saying that they are the same character because they really aren't. Take Ulquiorra and Byakuya for instance. Ulquiorra was a sad and lonesome being who walked alone his whole life in search for something meaningful, and he did achieve that in the end. While Byakuya is a prideful being who justified all his actions during the Soul Society arc because he did everything for his love.

Try to analyse the characters a little better, and you should see how they are different.

They still served the same purpose. Kubo just painted them different colors.

I liked how the animation got progressively worse with each season

It realistically portrays the actual decline of the series.

YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME NOW

great art style indeed

Not even a mention or some kind of an announcement.

Despaired Ichigo is best Ichigo.

Ichigo vs Ginjo was pretty good.

EVERY FUCKING THREAD
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

No.

no, it was worse
