Don't let Sup Forums meme you to hating anything. It's a good show.

I like him. He is conscious of doing the right thing, and tries to be good to people, but he is a likeable character.
He is never that smug, close minded character that talks down on people for fighting, he is aware of the reality of the situation and tries to do the best. He is not that person who holds long speeches about how war is wrong and everyone but him is evil.

Turn A Gundam is enjoyable even without much UC experience, but from having seen 79, I can tell that there is some fanservice I probably miss because I haven't seen more Gundam. If you have an interest in Gundam in general, I guess it can be worth it to wait. But if you don't like Gundam, Turn A can be watched without seeing anything else.

I think it's actually a pretty good show. Obviously the animation is trash, but I can still get absorbed into the show and I forget about its problems because they are at least consistent. I like how the dialogue is simple and the characters have clear goals which they achieve each episode. "Endearing" is the best way I would describe it.

I'm honestly enjoying it more than Brotherhood. Considering how much I was told it was "pointless" to watch this one when Brotherhood exists or whatever, this is coming as a pretty big surprise.

>What got you to start watching it?
I finished FMA Brotherhood after hearing so much about it, I really liked it and wanted to watch more FMA. Then I mentioned the old show and a friend of mine told me it sucks, Brotherhood is a lot better because it follows the manga or whatever.

Out of curiosity, I decided to give FMA 2003 a shot anyway.

It was far more intense than what I'm used to. I almost dropped it after ep 6 because if Hanabi continued with her plan it would have failed, if not backfired, and she could have ruined her life for no return. Also the theme of loneliness and wanting someone is sadly relateable. The characters are complex, I liked it alot in the end.

Hanabi I'm happy that she didn't loose her yay in the end and was able to move on

Manipulative bitch sensei closely followed by Ecchan its good she chilled out at the end though
