Why go to space?

humans have one option in space. the moon.
living on the moon would be the worst possible existence, worse than living in an ice cold submarine. we don't even have the technology to transport our shit there. if future generations create this technology it won't be 'cool toys', it will be terrifying and give humanity more worries than we have today.
there is just one reason to send any brave man to that dusty hell. some day a huge asteroid will hit Earth.
no, it will not miss and we will not blow it up.
we will go the way of the dinosaurs. the last remains of civilization are a few footprints up on the moon. those untouched footprints, exactly the same as they were created decades ago, are only different because now there is nobody left to create another.
fuck space

>why go to space?

to get away from niggers and kikes

>Look towards the stars, Goyim.

>There's no hope on earth.

Time's up.

((space)) isn't even a thing.

What's the point of going into space, if we messed up on earth already.

Do we really need to spread cancer like transgender? I think a better idea would be to take care of our planet and get rid of degeneracy. Instead found a high culture, that pursues the virtue. Spiritual evolving is far more important, then technological.

What this guy said.

Martian ethno-colony when?

It's the only way to escape the demand for gibs.

We need to colonize space and endless reproduce so our future generations can continue to pay takes and take out loans and buy insurance. But not too fast because we wouldn't want people outside of our control right?

The solution to the space problem is to use transhumanism to become more physically adapted to the climate

Because earth is a shit hole.

>living on the moon would be the worst possible existence
In Philip K Dick's the Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, that's how living on Mars is. Just a shit existence with nothing to do but take drugs. Everything important is automated and everyone is miserable.

>what is mars

Hey. Thats a planet we will send all the non-whites to.
We will say its for humanity right ;)

God i miss Space Elevator threads. Whatever happened to Space Elevator?

But nobody want to stablish a colony in The Moon, if the Earths get git by an asteroid The Moon would be fucked too. Mars is the near future.

because it's not possible. that's why the image is made of fucking pixels and not a photograph

If we kill the jews and destroy their systems of debt-based economics, we'll have more than enough money. Especially if we enact national socialism in the USA. then we'd be able to bankroll the price of the first colonies with no expected return other than the benefit of the human race.

Asteroids can be mined, but what they mine is economically useless on earth. We can use those resources to build the colonies from. We have most of the technology, there is just no "economic return" to make the jews happy atm.

Seek freedom and become captive of your desires. Seek discipline and find your liberty.

he left after Sup Forumsharbor

we discovered that nanotubes only have the needed tensile strength as individual molecules and it's not really possible to industrially manufacture single molecules that are 40,000km long.

Do you even know what I’m referring to? Do you even know anything about Space Elevator or his threads he used to start here? You must be a newfag from reddit.

Nope, their are no planets in our solar system that can be permanently inhabited by humans. The real problem is gravity, the human body isn't designed to operate in low or micro gravity environments. Any settlers would have a drastically reduced lifespans and would be plagued by heath problems. Let robots handle mars, as for the moon, realistically I can see something maybe like the outposts in Antarctica. Manned by rotations of scientists and only for a few months at a time.

You're not special for remembering something from two years ago, faggot.

Stop being afraid of double spacing if you're really an oldfag.

listen to whoever you want.
I trust you'll listen to someone who will twinkle your stars

Did you get turned down for a job by NASA again? Because you know, those jobs go to people with actual Physics degrees or a lot of flight experience in the Air Force. Perfect attendance at Taco Bell just won't cut it.

Space colonies bro. Rotation simulates gravity.

NASA and others worked out all the math before america went to shit.

You can stay on this dying planet. Im going where the moon men are.

Yes I've seen that to. I like the idea of using a giant centrifuge to create gravity. It is conceivable.

No one has been to the moon. It won’t happen for centuries, OP, don’t worry about it

It would give us a use for asteroid mining as well.

The human condition is to constanly expand and discover places where we havent been before. We could be like animals and just eat, sleep and fuck but we have the need to be bigger and better. We are never truly satisfied, just look at history. There is no point in searching the deep sea, but still we send ships and cameras there.

Execpt women of cource. They are just whiny children living for superficial shit like make-up.

You don't live on the moon, you live in it. Stop being retarded.

The hilarious part about spacefags that claim we need to go today space in order to ensure the survival of humanity after the destruction of the earth, is that if we have the technology to sustain humanity through off world colonies after an astrogeological cataclysm like that, we have the technology to just shift the course of the damn asteroid or reform the Earth's atmosphere instead of terraforming Mars or whatever scifi offworld bullshit they fantasize about.

It's all Jewish bullshit.

>We don't have technology to get anything to the Moon
>Other planets don't exist
>Humans are literally incapable of creating new space technology
>New space technology is scary

You're a fucking moron. Earth is dying and becoming over populated at exponential rates. All the great minds of today say if we don't find a new home soon, we're all fucked and going to go extinct. And have you noticed that humans are really good at creating technology? We can make the moon not shit or even find a new planet. Literal brainlet.

Because I crave more than this poisoned rock

Ignore the shills. If you want your kids to have a future in space, the jews have to die and usury has to end.

There are some people who do not think that people are the problem. They think that they can go somewhere and avoid all of the problems that people have to deal with.

They're delusional leftists for the most part.

Yeah the moon landing was definetely a hoax

we are several tiers too soon to make something like that, and the point where you have achieved those technologie tiers you wont even need something small like a space elevator.

Not with that kind of attitude

>proceeds to fax glitter

What kind of a loser wastes his life shitposting?

>We can make the moon "not shit" through magic technology
>but we can't stop the Earth from "dying" through magic technology

I can see you've put a lot of thought into this.

There are other things besides asteroids, like gamma ray bursts. We really need to be sending sleeper ships to other systems to avoid those though.

I endorse space colonies. We can finally rid the Earth of Strayans.

No, we just need pressurized habitats. Tyrone won't last long if the atmosphere will escape every time he tries to be a real G and rob a public use food warmer.

Earth is fucked already. Population is out of control and no country is going to ditch fossil fuels for clean energy because of oil profits. We have technology to stop fucking Earth, but we aren't using it. No one wants to waste the money and time.

There will never be an economic driver. We need national socialism and the end of usury. natsoc will provide the funds because it is in the best interests of the planet and the people. ending usury will automatically increase the gdp by 325%.

We could do it before the oil runs out, if we start soon.

Ignore "green energy" shills like this.

There is not enough money in the world to supplant our energy demands with green nonsense.

>There will never be an economic driver.
Yes there will. Asteroid mining and fuel refineries.

Exactly, so we can't fix Earth with tech. But we can start fresh somewhere else and ya know, not fuck it.

There is nothing in space worth the cost of bringing it all the way down to earth. The only use for it is in space itself, which cannot be considered an economic driver because the money invested will never flow back to the earth.

That's why we need a system of government and a system of economics that does not give a shit about debt or cares more about economic return than societal return.

Yes, in orbiting space colonies. Leave the niggers to starve for all i care.

Warning HUMANS
New leftist buzz-trap-word detected. It implies Jews are humans and that all people are equal

>There is nothing in space worth the cost of bringing it all the way down to earth.
That's wrong. We already have companies working on extremely high purity fiber optic cables that can only be manufactured in space. Lots of things in many industries can only be done in microgravity.

There are also lots of asteroids waiting to be mined. If you think that asteroid mining isn't a profitable venture, just wait until 2030. China will start outright taking over Africa, metals will become a lot harder to get.

>The only use for it is in space itself, which cannot be considered an economic driver because the money invested will never flow back to the earth.
You're not even a level 1 jew yet.

>That's why we need a system of government and a system of economics that does not give a shit about debt or cares more about economic return than societal return.
They're called corporations.

...and again, the Finns get it right.

Which do you think is the more improbable event?
A sleeper ship surviving the multi-century voyage to another system, the colonists being successfully revived from whatever magic suspended animation they were placed in, and those surviving colonists successfully establishing a new civilization on an utterly alien world supplied only with the resources they brought with them?
or humanity never actually experiencing the statistically extremely rare occurrence if a gamma ray burst in our own galaxy let alone one that intersects with our solar system?
Personally I think humans never actually getting nuked by a random burst of radiation from the other side of the Galaxy is the better bet.

FPBP
How else are we going to have ethnoplanets?

Just because they're working on it doesn't mean they'll ever actually bring their product to market.

>all that free land waiting for exploitation and development
>why would you want unclaimed clay

>Implying we shouldn't turn the Red Planet into the White Planet

Free land is typically free because it's worthless.

>like the ground you stand on

Find something better to do with your life. Shitposting here isn't going to give you a better life.

Let me guess, you think the Earth is flat?

because we can, because nothing else will

because we need a backup planet, and the earth is only going to last 1.3 billion more years even if some asteroid doesn't wipe it clean of life before then

No, they will. There is a large market for their cables, primarily high frequency traders. They don't have to make many. Maybe in the future they could make 50 km long cables and sell them to telecommunications providers.

>because it's not possible
found the brainlet

Because we can

I'm just killing time at work user.
What's your excuse for shitposting?

You can do that on Earth as well, since most of it is uninhabited.
Jungles are too dangerous but you can live in the forests of Asia or Europe without seeing anyone for years.

Maybe but that sounds like awfully large investment in manufacturing infrastructure just to squeeze out information at a slightly higher rate.

I wouldn't be surprised if nothing ever comes of it, or someone finds a way to do it on Earth. Who knows though maybe you'll be right and I'll be wrong.

>Jungles are too dangerous
They're safer than any place off-world.

>Maybe but that sounds like awfully large investment in manufacturing infrastructure just to squeeze out information at a slightly higher rate.
Well, traders are already doing shit like purchasing old buildings and flattening them just to install a datacenter without anyone noticing so they can get an edge of a few extra milliseconds on other traders, so it sounds like purchasing some space cable at $20,000 a meter isn't too much of a stretch.
