Your thoughts?

Look like shit... just like the content they produce.

Looks comfy.

That's not Disney or Sunrise or Pixar or Toei

>being this upset over just a pic of a building

pathetic

>Toei

So what?

>all that security gating and fencing
I thought Japan had low crime.

its the only way to keep shaft shitters from trashing the place

you're so fucking cool

...

Probably alot of very cute girls work there.

No.

No doubt about it

Low crime doesn't mean the absence of it.

Beautiful people in the anime industry don't exist.

I live in an average American suburb, and gating like that is only found in the ghettos. If the streets and walls weren't so clean, I'd assume OP was a picture of Brazil.

I want to smell their seats

KyoAni already has expanded their offices.

>anime girl isnt a virgin
>otaku come and trash the studio

That's not Sunrise.

It's just those companies out there don't have enough money

Nah, not yet

Probably because you don't know what world's best means

...

This.

That's Kyoani"shop" thoug

trips of truth.

That doesn't look like the offices of MAPPA, Shuka or IMS

That's their second studio and shop.
At least you should have known that.

No one has posted Doga, Silver Link or White Fox's studios. I am very confused. Did people misread the OP?

Right, but they're moving to another new HQs next year

OP here, sorry wrong photo. This is the best anime studio.

No you imposter

My dog's house is bigger than this pigsty.

too fat I guess

ive been there

plz delete this thread that pic is making me sad

A trip to the Kyoani store always ends in disappointment as there's fucking nothing to buy but Free! merchandise.

that and the somber aura the whole area has

maybe the whole city...

Kyoto's cool though, and the studio's located in a comfy suburb.

Wrong pic OP
here's the right one

Nice ghetto window bars

...

It's still a company even though they're in a small ass building. Gotta protect your assets.

>filmsy mesh
In countries with higher crime rates they would have probably been replaced decades ago with chunky metal shutters, it also looks like they've tried using it to hide the aircon units.

they don't arrest you if you have contacts
if this is what you mean by low crime
only low on paper

>being this upset over a post

Even more pathetic

Looks like my grandma's house.

Most of the gates are here for privacy purposes (which is a luxury here), not really for security

This building looks familiar. Was this in Chaos;Head?

>IHURAH AYIMUZUS

i miss old shaft

Entrance uses roll-up shutter. They use those in bank windows. It's a relatively safe fenestration. They used stretched wire mesh to hide condensers. It's standard fencing material.

Gotta stop people from stealing the key frames for souvenirs

fans are more persistent and annoying than thieves

Need to protect the girls working there from the otaku hordes.

GodAni

Such a bait image. Shaft is still getting job left and right like on Fate/Extra, being hired to create a Kimi no Na Wa clone, 3-gatsu being funded by NHK for a second season, on top of them setting up their own online shop. Very misleading!

>Kimi no Na Wa clone
It's an adaptation of something that existed before you were born.

Reminds me of the Shirobako stairs.

Regardless he still is getting jobs.

Lurk more faggot.

>ANN down
watchu talkin' 'bout, willis?

Hahaha. This is the old office building.
New KyoAni building is under construction.

This building looks like great place to survive zombie apocalypse.

This one is better

J.C.STAFF(5F)

All talking about the studios aside, I really appreciate how clearly walkable the streets in Japan are. You can approach everything by sidewalk, and it's pretty clear that it's natural for even kids to walk home from school.

Here in the states the only time I have ever walked anywhere was on a college campus, otherwise I've always needed a car to get anywhere.

I don't really like that.

It means I spent most of my childhood zt home or with my parents breathing down my neck, and even as an adult I spend all my time in transit isolated in my vehicle, trapped in some kind of limbo where I don't really get to engage with my environment or the people around me.

You sure showed him.

Not gonna do much with that easily-accessible balcony.Unless those are bulletproof windows.

You sure showed him.

Why would anyone keep track of this shit?

They're doing an animated remake of an old Shunji Iwai TV film. Nobuyuki Takeuchi is directing it

uchiagehanabi.jp/

That's cool. I love Iwai. Haven't watched Uchiage Hanabi though. Should I?

And what's with Iwai and animu lately? The Hana to Alice prequel came out, what? Two years ago?

I slept nearly a month undetected on a balcony.
This balcony is a feast for my eyes.

Storytime, nigger.

>KyoAni think they slick

This is like a fortress or a prison. There is hardly any room for sunlight to shine through.

Maybe he's a pigeon.

The paid off construction workers are probably installing undetectable bugs as we speak.

Not your blog.

Nah.

>Haven't watched Uchiage Hanabi though. Should I?
I dunno, I'm not familiar with Iwai myself. I'm mostly interested in the film because Takeuchi has been an important, long-time member of Shaft, but only just now is making his debut as a director. The PV isn't the most impressive thing, but I'm looking forward to it.

>I'm not familiar with Iwai myself
Close this thread. Torrent All About Lily Chou Chou. Watch it ASAP.

Thank me later.

You see a few of those types of buildings in cities. They're results of the 1900s Brutalist architecture movement, led by Le Corbusier who famously described buildings as "machines to live in".

While I understand that there's some artistic motivation behind them, these buildings are both a pain to look at and probably miserable to be inside of. Fortunately, the Brutalist movement seems to have died down.

>disney
>anime
Once in a blue moon

how many people fit in there?

>ANN
there are at least two other databases that track studios

Wikipedia has nothing about this ANN most likely would have, if not a page for Uchiage Hanabi, at least the news for when it was announced. But it's down.

... but yeah, I should've checked MAL.

well, there's a 4th one then

That's a fucking ziggurat.

>being this upset over a post about a post
We need to go deeper

The meteor trail and visual poster basically scream "we want the your name audience"

well, I laughed

Sunrise had the same kind of a shed instead of office
