Angel's Egg

What are people's thoughts on this film?

I think if I were in his position I would've done a terrible, terrible thing.

not a single theory explains the initial obsession with the egg

...

irredeemable. kill yourself.

Gross

Sort of forgettable, but worth watching it once

She is not for lewds!
She is meant for having her smile destroyed.

It would be: ''What the hell did I just watch''?

Fucking great visuals and sound, the plot is a little confusing but overall I really like it

I know. And yet I still would.
How is that better? She was really upset about that.

Weird but far from captivating.
Only worth dowloading to watch Yoshitaka Amano's trademark foamy 80s hair in motion.

I honestly think that Dark Souls was inspired more by this movie than it was by Berserk like most people think.

A pretty solid moving painting.

It's about how Oshii became an atheist.

The egg represents hopes, dreams and aspirations, while the wanderer represents God/Christ.

...

Seriously?

My thoughts were driftig there too when this thread made me think of the that new DLC NPC with the broken eggshell.

No, you're only saying that because of pic related.

There is nothing else at all that even hints at a connection.

the isolated and empty world seems to be a pretty solid connection.

Great atmosphere and art, nothing more, nothing less.

What's isolated about it? What's empty about it?

Shit is full of people and creatuers, DS1 even has people coming from all over the entire planet to fight the curse.

DS3 has 100 NPC human characters alone.

I don't really get it but it's still nice to watch
