Larry Fink.
When people post happy merchant, I usually project the face of Larry Fink on him. Because he is controlling a huge chunk of Western high economy. And if he wants you bankrupt, you are bankrupt.
A lot of banks and companies in Germany are owned by him and BlackRock (via diverse letterbox companies of course, but it's all him). He virtually controls the German economy. All the "competition" the companies are supposed to have are therefore just for show.

What about Half-Life 3 ?

Google, Blackrock, Bank of America.

>Rothschild & Co
>Google Inc
>Amazon

Anyone guess the commonality between the three?

There is only one company

Not politics.

-JPMorgan Chase
-Exxon Mobile
-Renaissance Technologies, the company run by Donald Trump benefactors the Mercer family.

All the top corporations in China are state-owned and aren't that relevant outside China, they're extensions of the government and not 'powerful' in the same way as a fully private corporation.

Honorable mention goes to Samsung for the ridiculous power they have within South Korea.

Apple, Google, JP Morgan.

Pepsi

northrop grumman
lockheed martin

>aren't that relevant outside China

which is why they're listed as #1 and #2 in most powerful companies in the WORLD

1. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC)
"The Beijing-headquartered company has a foothold in every continent except Africa and Antarctica, employing over 425,000 staff globally. In 2014 chairman Jiang Jianqing – who was once a laborer in China’s Jiangxi Province – also made history as the first Chinese banker to co-chair the annual World Economic Forum."

2. China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB)

In 2006 China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) took over Bank of America (Asia). Three years later, it opened a London subsidiary as well as a New York branch. In 2013 the rapidly growing banking giant established a new European command center in Luxembourg, and by 2014 it had placed second on Forbes’ power-ranking “Global 2000” list, second only to fellow Beijing based mega-bank the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. CCB finished the 2013-2014 fiscal year with a market value of $174.4 billion and assets topping $2.4 trillion. Boasting branches in locations ranging from Tokyo to Johannesburg, in addition to thousands within China itself, CCB employs a staff of nearly 350,000 people all told. In 2012 Wang Hongzhang – whom Australia’s Business Spectator described as “one of [China’s] most powerful bankers” – took over as the company’s new chairman and executive director.

4. Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC)

In 2014 Chinese banking colossus the Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC) ranked third on Forbes’ high-profile “Global 2000” list of “the biggest, most powerful and most valuable companies in the world.” That year, the firm netted profits of $27 billion and its assets were valued at a staggering $2.405 trillion. With subsidiaries in the U.K. and Hong Kong and branches in places ranging from New York to Sydney, ABC employs 478,980 people, with operations centering on its headquarters in Beijing’s Dongcheng District. The company made its IPO in 2010, generating a still record-holding $22.1 billion.
