What we do is just shoot the jobless in the back of the head, and replace them with the new robots.
Gabriel Robinson
Behind you bro. Basic universal income makes a lot of sense and is cheaper to run than welfare.
Joseph Butler
The only good thing about this plan is it will finally destroy Canada. Fuck that place
Chase Moore
How do you plan to discourage the cretins from endlessly reproducing?
Nathan Green
universal basic income suxx can't you stupid commie socialist liberal jews understand economics 101? XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
But in all seriousness, Federal Job Guarantee is better than UBI
Landon Peterson
>give people money for doing nothing
no
Gavin Martin
You're a brainlet.
Ryder Hall
Why do you even bother posting your bullshit then? Go get fat.
>Federal Job Guarantee is better than UBI No. It's too expensive to run. At least with UBI you can fallback on something if you get fired and need to retrain.
How do you plan on making money when you're giving it all away?
Connor Jones
Good thing Canadians are not monkeys.
Tyler Parker
>Too expensive to run >Yet supports the state giving money for no reason, implying that UBI isn't expensive kek
At least with the Job Guarantee the unemployed will be working and therefore be producing more labor and thereby more output.
Joseph Campbell
1) Basic income at only $10000/ year (half of what UBI advocates are calling for) would cost us more than our federal revenue. Keep in mind that our government is in serious financial trouble as it is.
2) People hate work. A good portion of society will not work if given the option. Especially considering the taxes needed to run such a system would leave most people with pennies for their work. Oh wait, we no longer have pennies. So nothing will be left over once taxes eat everything away.
Eli Gonzalez
>Basic income will create jobs
Nathan Rivera
Obviously, I would make money by having more kids, taking their "basic income", then spending it all on myself while I give them a bag of chips for lunch.

>watching a video of a guy playing a video game while he tells you his opinion
Isaiah Kelly
Have you seen Toronto recently?
Aaron Robinson
Too bad. Guess what I'm doing right now, on your dime. Faggot.
It's not more expensive. People can stop working at any time and fall back on social program. These programs need administration, lots of oversight, monitoring for fraud, etc. UBI does away with a lot of these negatives. It's not perfect but can be made better that what we have now.
Check the vid.
Luke Torres
>serious financial trouble as it is. According to whom? You've been listening to bullshit.
Minimum wage is the reason that you earn less than your grandfather did. Way to argue to make ours and you children's life more shitty.
Gabriel Foster
That's called inflation and lack of strong unions to support workers.
Ryan Turner
I unironically support this, only so the system crashes and your safety net is cut and you starve.
Evan Cook
As long as you starve with me, then I can laugh at both of us
Nathaniel Garcia
It wont crash. Canadians run their government a lot efficiently than any other country.
Tyler Evans
On the one hand, such a program would alleviate much of the suffering caused by poverty. Possibly even give a large portion of middle-income earners move leisure time.
On the other hand, it's a market solution, and it would be more effective to have more at-the-point-of-use services in addition to health care (like shelter, childcare, and nutrition )
Cooper Rogers
No leaf...just no...
Benjamin Roberts
>Would cost us more than our federal revenue
Daily reminder that our federal revenue is not paid for through taxes and that the federal government creates money as it spends. Low taxes and Increase in Government spending is what makes a stable economy
The problem with UBI is that there is no anchor to what that money is used for and is thereby inflationary, NOT that it costs too much money,
As with , at least the Job Guarantee provides a buffer stock of employed people to be hired into the private sector, but it also provides an opportunity for regular people to not become poor
Also, the Federal Job Guarantee pegs the economy to labor rather than a commodity like gold. The advantage to that is that should a financial crisis happen (due to the financialization of the economy and go into private debt), the labor wouldn't be decimated and people would be able to survive the downturn of the economy and not be faced with loads of private debt.
Wouldn't UBI just make it where however much money you got as universal basic income was worthless? You give everybody 30,000 shekels a year and all of a sudden 30,000 shekels = 0 shekels. I'm obviously extremely oversimplifying but you get what I'm saying. Also, somebody made a great point about how do you stop the non-contributors from reproducing like crazy? Lastly, should we even strive for a world without any hunger or poverty anywhere? If there's no suffering there's no happiness.
Joshua Reyes
yeah, giving terrorists $10 million dollars. Super efficient.
Xavier Scott
Don't you have a president to admire?
>how do you stop the non-contributors from reproducing like crazy Good point. Check out the video. It's not going to cause people to suddenly stop working. Those who can't work however (due to illness) at least can make some arrangements not to lose their home.
Could have been 25 millions, so we saved. Yep efficient. You need to understand this was the fault of the previous conservative government.
Eli Rogers
Soon i hope
Eli Lee
I don't care leaf, your country. Get raked.
Tyler Stewart
He is right and wrong on this.
If you play everything by his scenario like he explains sure this is a perfect argument against universal income and like most Americans I'm really fucking tired of seeing welfare niggers, white trash, and low IQ beaners leech off welfare while having 5 kids.
The argument around universal income is more relevent in terms when mass automation and AI comes along. What are we just supposed to let 80% of the population die off while terminator enforcer robots roam the ghettos of society eliminating any sort of uprising? The ultimate good goyim scenario where the 1% control almost all the wealth.
>Just be smarter bro lol you are stupid.
Meanwhile doctors are replaced by machines that diagnose and cure better then any human could do.
We have to strike a balance at some point before we do something really stupid like considering 98% of humanity as defects. I would personally propose that if you use welfare you automatically get sterelized and you get to live out your life in peace. Once the days of heavy automation like I describe come around you get to enjoy the fruits of the labor that humanity created to get there through a basic income. Even if my pipe dream came true today for this it might be to little to late as there are so many fucking subhuman scum roaming around American society.
Eli Gutierrez
>people can keep working for more pay First time I’ve heard of an incentive system in UBI. I’m down as long as you don’t tax me. If so you can fuck right off
Sebastian Smith
>Could have been 25 millions, so we saved. Yep efficient. You need to understand this was the fault of the previous conservative government. How bout fucking zero? Could have saved a lot more.
Grayson Hall
1) We have some of the highest levels of debt in the world. It would only take a bump for our entire system to come crashing in. 2) Our government can't even agree to balance the fucking budget. That difference is just tacked onto the debt. As a result we fail to ever lower said debt effectively. 3) It doesn't take a fucking genius to realise that Mr Trudeau's spending is bankrupting us. Between refugees and foreign aid, I am willing to bet our treasuries are far worse than we even realise. 4) We already cleared out and sold our gold stores. We have no rainy day fund anymore. 5) I have been listening to guys well into the financial sector. In private. These guys know how fucking bad it is and are warning anyone close to them to get out of the country.
Eli Allen
>It's another Bootleg BPS channel dedicated to "redpilling" people Not even a UBI supporter, but lmao what a fucking joke of a channel. Get some better arguments cuck
Juan Kelly
I hate being a wagecuck so fucking much. A minimum of 45 hours a week being forced to do something I hate so I can pay Ezra Sheckleberg his monthly tithings for allowing me to live in his shitty apartment. I want UBI so I can pursue the arts and make additional income here. I would love to make a humble living off of photography or the like. Instead I get to work for a faceless corporation and contemplate suicide for 9 hours a day. Are men really supposed to sit in a little cuck cube from sunrise to sunset every day? We’re explorers and adventurers by heart, not cube cucks.

We was going to win in court you dumbass. If Harper would have at least tried to stop the torture, we could have not paid a penny. Clearly you're ignoring facts on purpose.
1. Yes it's high but it's healthy as it's debts to Canadians for the most part. 2. Well we do need to replace our military infrastructure but I agree we could just not buy any ships, submarines, etc. 3. See #2. Decades of neglect in infrastructure and the military costs everyone at the end. 4. Our currency is not tied to gold reserves your idiot. Fuck man, you've been drinking whose koolaid? 5. Yeah sure. I don't see it. Canada still has some of the lowest corporate federal income tax rates.
I'm disappointed but not surprised that fake news has taken advantage of naive souls.

I don't see it eve happening in America, you have too much "people".
Tyler Hughes
Bro you need to realize what's coming. Democrats are going to sweep the midterms and ride that to an easy win in 2020. From that point they'll legalize illegals (if they aren't already) and further open the borders. This will seal a democratic regime until this country falls.
Once you provide gibs you cannot take them back.
Jackson Evans
1) You can't just print your money problems away. That is how you end up with runaway inflation. Money supply must reflect the economic activity. 2) I am referring to the Federal Revenue of Canada for the 2017 budget. The fact that this program would exceed that bar is worrying. This is before any other expenditures are even added. Most of government income comes from things like taxes and crown corporations. So would have to seek new revenue to balance the new budget if such a program is released. 3) This programs costs too much money. Period. We need approximately: $10 000/ year * 36 290 000 = $362 900 000 000. That is only for one fucking year. 4)We need insane levels of tax to support such a system. The people we need to support such a system however can get a better deal elsewhere and will leave. In fact, our most talented people are already leaving for greener pastures.
Jeremiah Stewart

Retire or be retired. Ohwait took your job with automation. Welp guess we don't need you anymore into the meat grinder.
Anthony Evans
1.) Did you not read my comment? I admitted that Runaway inflation is a problem and UBI has no anchor to money, while the Job Guarantee does.
2.) I assume that Canada is the sovereign issuer of the Canadian dollar right? Then the Canadian Federal Government can never run out of money and become insolvent. Also, most of the income does not come from taxes and borrowing; All of the government spending comes from keystroking.
3.) So what if it costs a lot of money? The Canadian government can afford it. The real problem is whether or not there is enough resources for everyone to get a piece of their pie from without running out, which ties to point 1.) about inflation.
4.)No we don't, because again, taxes and borrowing don't fund government spending.
Joshua Scott

1) It's not healthy to have some of the highest public debt in the world. We can't pile on debt forever. Not to mention the small fortune we pay on interest.
2) It isn't as simple as not just cutting a few ships. We need a whole budget restructure. The military is one of the few areas where we are sustainable in. We need to cut back the useless money sinks.
3) I will agree that our neglected infrastructure is costing us badly and desperately needs to be fixed, expanded and upgraded.
4) Gold is a good rainy day fund. If our currency tanks, than gold can be used as a back up system to pay the bills. The point is that the government has already raided what was essentially the emergency funds of the country. The gold isn't for our currency. The amount of money in circulation is not tied to the gold. It is for our treasury. The fact that our politicians have raided the treasury to pay the bills is a fucking alarm bell. It is a sign that we are in deep fucking trouble.
5) You don't have to see it but it is happening. A lot of the people leaving are doing so fairly quietly. Quite often they go to the states. It is a far greener pastures. There is a reason why the only white doctors left in Toronto are grey or sketchy. The young half-decent ones have all gone elsewhere.

negative tax

Things like universal income and negative tax are far superior to welfare, given that welfare is removed once UBI is introduced.
Wyatt Parker
People are going to be so bored and unmotivated working 20 hrs.
Carter Reed
Until no one works and the state is forced to force you to work for your welfare. Then you are basically a wage slave again, except your new employer is the state. The state is so cruel and cheap that you start to miss the capitalist version of wage slavery where another job is always available if you put the work in to find it, but now there is only one employer and it's idea of "you're fired" is death by firing squad.
Caleb Myers
Humanity's had to work to get where it is sincen we crawled out of the mud. If you didn't work, you starved - and not just in a "oh, we need to get money sense" no, no, you needed to work to hunt that meat and pick those berries.

1) UBI is anchored to money. What do think the payments are? Bags of flour? Pounds of fish? It doesn't matter how we give the wealth we still need to pay for it. We still need money.
2) The government can run out of money. Printing money in excess of economic activity just devalues the currency. Do you want all of our money to be worthless pieces of plastic?
3) We don't have infinite resources. Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money.
4) Then why do we collect taxes? We collect it to pay our fucking governments bills.
Asher Sanchez
Just because your mom didn't abort you, doesn't mean that I have to pay for you to live.
Thomas Gutierrez
1.) I don't think you understand what anchoring means, nor do you understand that I am not calling for the abolition of money; Because you have fiat currency ( I assume the canadian dollar is fiat), the dollar isn't pegged to anything but the government's trust. (Better than being pegged on a gold standard but thats for a different time). And because of fiat money, we can print it out with some limitations, those limitations being our resources and inflation. What UBI is going to do is cause an inflation because we are, like you say, devaluing the currency. The Federal Job Guarantee however, is not going to cause inflation, because we will be actually producing goods and services since the purpose of the JG is to mobilize idle and ineffective resources and produce more goods and services and therefore raise the output.
2.) >Government can run out of money > Government can print money Wut The government can have inflation, but like you said, the government can print money. In terms of Canada, since you guys are the only country that prints out the Canadian dollar, you are the sovereign issuer of that currency. And those who are the sovereign issuers of that currency can't run out of currency because they are the only ones that can print out the said currency.
3.) I don't think you understand; I am actually agreeing that we don't have infinite resources, but we should be having a debate on whether we have enough resources, not on artificial constraints like the fiscal deficit or the national debt.
4.) Taxes are used because they give our fiat money value, and because it is used to regulate our aggregate demand aka our money supply.
Daily reminder that Unironic helicopter and Pinochet memes are as bad as the Ugandan Knuckles memes.
Hunter Cooper
1) What happens when the trust in our currency runs out? We can't print out enough to cover our costs + UBI. If we did that the trust in our currency is gone. Also while the gold standard has serious issues, it also removes a lot of the trust factor. I do not need to trust the government the same way. They can't just print a pound of gold on whim. That is why the gold standard had been used for so long, especially for international trading.
2) UBI is not a federal job guarantee. It is fucking money with no strings attached. There is no extra productivity with UBI, just redistribution.
3) It doesn't matter if the government can print money if no one will accept it. A pile of bills than no one can use is worthless. We can run out of money that people will accept. It is not the literal bills we run out of, but the value behind it.
4) Fiscal deficit an national debt are not artificial constructs. Deficit is a measure of a particular year. A few deficits here and there are not a problem as long as they are balanced out by the surplus years. Bad years do happen and a little debt during that time isn't the issue. It is long term debt and deficits that are a problem. That is what we have. We have to pay back debt and it does not matter who owns that debt. It must be paid. It is money we borrowed from others. If you want to crash the system, just miss a few payments on that debt.
5) What gives our fiat money value is controlled money supply. The idea that only so many bills and coins are produced this year. Overprinting breaks the trust, so does instability of the issuing body. Excessive debt is a source of instability. The government has limited ability to control the value of the currency. Ultimately the market decides how much our currency is really worth. We got a relatively good supply control here. What we are having troubles with recently is trust in a strong issuing body.
Lucas Ross
Who gets to choose who lives and dies dumb ass? The rich will live and everyone else will be purged. Also all you welfare niggers being "proud" of yourselves . Good job being a slave. You chose to let the world burn instead of help it.
Juan Sanders
The only reason I've become more accepting of this concept is because I'm worried that as the wealth gap grows we'll be thrown into some fucked up Communist revolution. It's either this or purge and every day that passes we become more and more outnumbered.
Bentley Jenkins
Are you retarded?
Levi Rodriguez
The most important thing you can do for the white race is keep your own life in order. Start with yourself. You must be competent, reliable, hardworking, and, above all, happy. Do people in your life trust and respect you? What does your family think of you? Are you capable of raising children? Racial politics doesn't have to be the only factor of your life. And if you can't achieve such things for yourself, then the chances are very high that you are not ready to be a political activist, either online or in real life. Because how can you make a difference for the race, for the lives of many, if you can't even make anything of your own, individual life? How can you make a real difference in society, when the greatest extent of your capacity is to be out-organized by jews on social media?
Always remember: we live in first world countries and have opportunity that most people born on this planet do not. Things aren't as good for us as they were for our parents. But billions of people in the third world would still kill to have the opportunities that you do right now. So take care of yourself! Work your ass off, everyday, to build a good life for you, and for your family. You have the power to create yourself. Clear your mind of self destructive thoughts, and keep yourself focused on realistic goals. Work hard, but also do fun and wholesome things with real people in real life. That's very important. Nothing on the internet should ever take away from your real life.
