Iberia would be much more genetically diverse and possibly wouldn't even have been speaking a Latin based language. Switzerland would’ve had a colonial empire, and there would be some other country wed be blaming everything for. Probably Switzerland

Europe would be mudslime.

World Peace.

best fries
best toast

all gone

Then where would wealthy Brits retire?

US probably would have lost the revolutionary war since France was a big supporter

European climate would change significantly and most likely be hot, causing huwhite folk to be brown. Maybe even darker around the Mediterranean.

Charlemagne is one of the most important rulers in world history. Without France's geographical terrain he would not have been able to build an empire that laid the foundation of western civilization. Why is Charlemagne important? In a word, royalty. All royalty is descended from him. Sure his heirs feuded amongst themselves for over a millenia. But due to the fact that they all felt they had a blood right to rule over their enemies, every contender for power in European history followed the Sun Tze: annex, don't destroy. Many of Charlemagnes heirs were idiots without any wisdom, but each and every one of them inadvertently did something wise; they did not seek the total destruction of the enemy. Thus western civilization developed in a way unseen in any other civilization

The same place they do now, Spain?

Did France disappear already?

...

Spain, isolated from Europe, would be culturally closer to North Africa. Western and Northern Europe (Germany to Norway) would be a lot richer with faster and more direct trade routes from the Mediterranean. If an empire like Rome were to exist, they would have an easier time conquering Europe, definitely up into the Baltic region. Not as many Germanic tribes would oppose them, and their worries would be focused on enemies coming from the East.

That was uncalled for, first ally.

don't worry we are doing a lot worse

>worst Ally

this is what i have done to my geography book in second grade
i took the eraser and pushed it back and forth until france was completely from the page

Morocco is de jure your first ally.

that would be a great timeline for the snails

copied into my 'shit you should know' doc

>possibly wouldn't even have been speaking a Latin based language
How? Rome conquered a chunk of Iberia way before conquering a chunk of France.

You should delete it now because a lot of his post is wrong.

Yeah people don't realize that for ages French was the language of the elite in Europe. Frederick the Great boasted that he barely spoke German because the elite spoke French. It's what made Bach's musical offering to him in German that much sweeter. Also Frederick was a fag and Bach had 20 kids, including Frederick's court musician CPE Bach

That's what he said

The British Empire would've been far larger as the US would've lost the revolutionary war and Britain would have not had its original main rival so would've blossomed far earlier as in our timeline it was only following Napoleon that we truly became the greatest Empire in history, however with all that coast Germany might had had an empire earlier provided they could unify. Also the climate of much of Europe would be far warmer.
