it's not translated wrong.
The "great commission" was added in hindsight, it was never said by jesus at all.
He only came for the lost sheep of israel, aka jews.
John 4:22
"You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews."
Matt 15:21-27
"21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”
23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”
24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
Romans 11:24
"After all, if you (gentiles/goyim) were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches (jews), be grafted into their own olive tree!"
Jesus is the continuation of 6000 years of jewish mythology, the idea that goyim have anything at all to do with him or his ministry is a conjuration of a man called Saul (who changed his name to Paul before initiating his jewish subversion against rome as revenge for the destruction of the temple)
