A battle shonen with debates instead of fight scenes

Read Plato, Socrates or something something Greeks then.

an anime about a city where people have superpowers but there's still normal people, and you explore the conflicts of superpowerful people being friends with normal people

Kogals bullying in the school environment.

Yokota Air Base in Japan is Isekai'd to a fantasy world with no connections to their original world.

Members of the military must now survive against the fantasy world, research and study magic which comes into a variety of branches and is on par with modern technology, and survive the political game going on as they are recognized as foreigners and a strange independent kingdom sent by the gods like others people in the past.

A group of tomboy, gyaru, delinquent girls get charged with mischief and sentenced to community service. They're into sports so they are assigned to coach an elementary school's boy's sports team. They have a habit of barging into the boy's locker rooms and showers, telling them to man up when they get embarassed.

MC is a uni student has a problem where any emotions he feel are magnified to others incredibly hard. For example, Just a little bit of irritation turns into a wave of murderous intent so intense some of the weak-hearted classmates around him faint.

Thankfully MC has learned how to bottle up his emotions at a fairly young age, but lately he seems to be getting into situations where leaking emotions becomes inevitable. Could there be someone who knows about him and is trying to reveal him?

I kinda want this to be a more comedy shtick with MC's face permanently being like pic related but I'm racking my brain on how to expand upon this. Maybe a love interest doing it because she doesn't like MC's emotionless look? MC could also show emotions in his own mind constantly (think Toda from Mousou Telepathy.

oops no pic

A guy gains a harem. though it turns out he is just being used by the girls to cover up for their lesbianism.

An anime about if Japan was on Allies side instead on Axis side.

Respawn Hero

An overworked and tired business man who lives in a small apartment with an older cake neighbor who hangs out with him time to time, decides to kill himself after being unable to handle his life anymore.

His first attempt at dying involves him hanging himself, but upon doing the act he finds himself unable to be choked to death or his neck snapped. Death then appears before the man, tired of watching mortals doing kill them selves and making him clean up after them.

Death as punishment makes the MC unable to die, everytime he forces himself into a death state he will respawn to the nearest location save and sound. Death then spawns inside the city the MC lives in the 8 Sins of Humanity who begin to cause chaos and destruction, and tells the MC if he ever wants to truly kill himself and stop many innocents from dying he will have to track down and kill each of humanities sins in the city.

The entire thing is episodic as the MC tracks down each of the 8 Sins and confronts them, and resolves people who have equally and greater crappy lives than him. While, Death monologues the journey of humanity and what fate do they really want to find.

A darker take on slice of life where a strange purple, non-solid anomaly from Outer Space suspends itself in the skies over Japan and has a devastating impact on gravity all across the globe, but mostly in East Asia.
This leads to very strange phenomenon where land, buildings, roads, and structures are torn from the ground and float in the air ranging from meters to kilometers above the ground. Cities have become floating masses of rocks and debris, and with gravity being as altered as it is, the few survivors have adapted and jump through the air at heights and lengths thought to have been impossible to get from building to building, platform to platform, and scavenge the floating ruins of the cities.
The MC's a cute girl who's lived the majority of her life in this post-apocalyptic scenario, without her parents and instead generally raised by various different people throughout her life. She's famed for having a keen eye and being a top-notch scavenger constantly digging up neat things from the past within the ruins. She discovers a way to "fly" in the gravity by creating wings out of useless fabric and old clothes. She goes on comfy adventures meeting people and simply living her life.
The weird purple anomaly in the sky is never explained or dealt with although it's constantly looming in the sky in nearly every shot, mysteriously.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

The show is set in ye olde japan. We follow the everyday life of a young girl living and working in her uncles tea house. Every episode centers around a new quirky visitor like a royal family run-away, a foreign trader and so on. Cozy comedy, action and occasional drama find their way to the tea house through customers and maybe some pursuers even. In the last episode she is visited by a wild and primitive traveller and a mysterious vagrant ronin.

Bizarro gonzo action comedy about an edgy psychic little girl, whose is the sole child of the Anti-God Emperor
Surprisingly, the edgy little girl has a very close bond with her father, to the point where they both act their non-edgy selves around each other, and are rarely separated.
One day, while interacting with other children, the edgy little girl gets an aneurysm from hating them so much, causing her nascent reality manipulator powers to go haywire and send her to another dimension, apparently dying in the process
The Anti-God Emperor, believing that his precious daughter has been assassinated by his enemies goes insane and vows to destroy the multiverse
The edgy little girl has in fact survived her isaeki'ing, and vows to return to her father, via any means necessary. Along the way, she learns her new powers, about her father's vow, how her powers switched her with a peasant boy from the dimension she is in, who somehow gained the abilities of her father's dead archenemy, the Good Angel Lord, and gains a host of incredibly manly perma-virgin Vikings, who follow her because she is the most terrifyingly arousing thing they have ever encountered. Will the edgy little girl be able to master her powers and save her father from himself and the peasant boy in time?

The humor in the series will be mainly focuses on how absurd the situation is and how the edgy little girl overreacts to everything, making the situation a thousand times worse, and generally how edgy she is

>MC was a high ranking villain in the bad guy organization
>during an operation to wipe out a group of heroes he gets hurt and left for dead by his power hungry friends
>gets saved by a group of peasants who don't know who he is
>while he's bedridden a group of thugs break into the house he's staying in to rob the family, he kills them and realizes he unthinkingly saved the family that was helping him
>decides to overthrow the bad guy group
>has to learn to be a good guy and not solve all of his problems with murder
>has to show the heroes he's not outright evil anymore

think a whole series focusing on Vegeta learning to go from douchey villain to douchey good guy instead of it just being a side story

that or a zombie apocalypse story where japan is overrun by gyaru and anyone they can catch & fuck starts to rapidly gyarufy, with the most dangerous/cunning ones being manba

Boku no hero academia

(1/2)

A genious boy who went through a terrible experience in his childhood and a
devoted girl who was cursed in her childhood. Both royalties but from different
kingdoms. In their continent, there are also 10 other kingdoms. Peace was the
common goal, and when the boy and the girl were about to get married, war was
deflagred between the boy's kingdom against the other 11 allied.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before deflagration:

Boy and girl had their childhood with the other 11 princes/princesses, in a
13th free-of-reign area.

He is extremely smart and charismatic. Also, he apparently had really good
relations with them.

She is extremely rational and devoted, being strong-willed and serious most of
the time (not being "social-skilled").

Both of them suffered from prejudice: Boy due mostly to the fact he was from the
most prosperous kingdom among the 12; and Girl due mostly to the fact she was
cursed.

In school, the boy was exceptional among the 12 princes/princesses. He was the
only one capable of versing on a wide variety of martial arts and magic; mainly
due to his genious and his "terrible experience".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right after deflagration:

The war begins in the boy's capital. Enemy troops are leaded by their own
princes/princess. And most of the boy's cherished ones dies, in addition to the
current king/queen, by the hand of his enemies.

Boy is forced to escape along with his closest, and loyal, subordinates.

Boy is forced to kill every enemy royalty, also,
he is sent to a "recover-mission" where important pieces of technology were
stolen from his kingdom.

(2/2)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main series:

Boy passes through an enormous personality change in each step of his killing:
He finds out how every kingdom betrayed his, and how every one of his friends
succumbed to hatred (let it be envy, pride, wrath from vengeance... etc).

Furthermore, his subordinates become even more close to him to the point of
being best friends (and some even lovers). Do not forget that some may die along
their journey...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To finish:

The last "royalty-killing" would be of his "wife", since she was the most
difficult to deal with (most loved...an all this stuff).

Also, in his last kill, he discovers that his kingdom was corrupted to the core.
He links every peace of evidence that he obtained from each prince/princess he
killed, and then becomes aware of tons of nasty & dark deeds of his kingdom.
His kingdom was corrupted to the point where the war became the reason of it.
Moreover, the girl's curse was originally oredered from the boy's parents in the
past, in order to make the girl his slave.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well... basically is based on tons of other series/animes/games that I played
recently.

And sorry for any english mistakes, it's not my native language.

Remember the oath of fire
Monster girls are invading our world in massive numbers, bringing only chaos. Vigilante groups styled after Crusaders and fantasy paladins and clerics form due to lack of government response, seeking to purge the monster girls from the world in reprisal.

Our MC is a young blond man has joined his local group known as the World Guard 404. Despite his outward appearance as loyal, skilled guardsman, his secret plan is to create a harem of monster girls.

Meanwhile, a family of cute tanuki girls try crazy scams each week to make money. When they backfire, the tanuki retreat back to the forest to come up with a new scam. However, the youngest one has regrets about following her sisters' lifestyle because she has a crush on MC, though she doesn't have the courage to reveal her love due to his public persona.

However a female paladin who has been tasked with hunting down traitors has already proposed to the MC. He is also under threat from a magical ogre queen who was exiled to this new world. The pages of the ogre queen's spellbook have been scattered, leaving her weakened. She vows collect the magic pages and recruit local monsters to restore her kingdom over the grave of humanity.

"Speed Square"

Our MC is a girl who has no interest in making friends in her new class. She is very rude, narcissistic, and also flat-chested. As a result, she often ends up breaking people's cherished possessions.

She stores damaged objects all throughout her home. These pieces of damaged furniture and other items scare her, emitting a strange aura due to their damages. She can see this aura due to the teachings of of her grandparents. They taught her that each piece of furniture and houseware should be respected. Though she desires to repair these items, she has no skills or tools.

One day, she hears a loud hammering and the whirring of power tools coming from her neighbor's backyard. When she goes to look, she sees her classmates cutting wood and building furniture. Inspired by their skills (and big boobs) she asks the other girls if they could give her guidance in the art of furniture repair.

Every day she learns the ins and outs of DIY construction and repair, and uses these skills to restore her possessions, healing the objects' auras, and as her skills grow so too does her chest.

Zetsuen no Tempest?

Story about a post-apocalyptic society. some pieces of our current-era technology exist in small numbers (such as tablet computers, desktops, smartphones, etc), but no one remembers how to work them and many consider it to be gifts from the gods.

Enter MC. He was blasted into the future from today's society by accident. He is very tech savvy though, and using old generators and solar panels he finds, is able to get much of the technology up and running again.

The people have very mixed feelings about him. Some worship him as a god, some condemn him as a demon, and others see him for who he is. Join him (or her) on their adventure to educate the new society on old technology and maybe one day restore society to its old glory

Humm... a pretty good mix of genres can be extracted from there:

Tragedy, drama, saddening and psychological with action, gore, fantasy, while having romance and some kind of knighthood loyalties (companionship/nakama stuff)??

However... where is the ecchi? Btw it is written... would it be an adult genre?

Good plot twist in the end... i can imagine nice stuff happening!

A Randy Savage-esque wrestler guy ends up in a fantasy world and puts up with the usual shit that happens in fantasy worlds. Solves problems and beats bad guys with elbow drops and shit.

Theoretically possible, but an unending deluge of dialogue would really be better suited for a LN.

A twist on the genre that has been done before, but I think still harbors untapped potential.

Axis of Time?

A premise, but no story. 4-koma or another short format, I suppose.

It's an interesting concept for a character, but you're right that it needs expansion. What's at stake if he did unbottle those emotions?

If Death is so tired of cleaning up the pointlessly dead, why unleash a plague of pointless mayhem?

Have you tried Sakasama no Patema?

Anyway, your premise is in need of a story. It's a nice setting, though. "Slice of Decay" is evidently a burgeoning aesthetic.

Everyone can learn from Keit-ai's example. It has an interesting fantasy premise, an MC with a definite and achievable goal, an obvious-yet-clever plot deriving from the premise and goal, a hint at the conflicts to come, a twist, and a unifying theme. All in one easily recited pasta.

This is just the prologue to Samurai Champloo.

The actual story sounds not terribly compelling, so it'd be driven mostly by the sole gag of "look how weird and edgy it all is".

I like it, though "has to learn to be a good guy and not solve all of his problems with murder" could use some expansion. Good pitch work, though. I'd watch it.

It's an effort. It's not a very grounded in reality story, though, so you'd have to find some way to balance things out if you want the viewer to take it seriously.

No worries on the English; your coinage of "deflagre" is a delightful twist a native speaker would never have dreamed of.

Anyway, I appreciate your attention to the story and arc. It sounds like you have the whole thing outlined here, but what happens once he kills his betrothed? He finds some things out, and then what? Would watch, though.

Another storyless premise. I understand this could be written as an interminable episodic (and there's nothing wrong with those; Mushishi is a favorite of mine, but it would fall right into that category), but since you're hinting at a linear arc, what are the "end conditions" here? What would it take to end this story?

>a young man is into urban exploration.
>while trespassing an abandoned resort up in the mountains. he comes across some yakuza groups doing something.
>he gets spotted and the yakuza both confuse him for being a man for the other group. causing a small gun fight.
>he escapes. though he is scared to go to the police because yakuza and he was trespassing him self.
>things snowball from there as he bumbles around trying to get out of trouble.
>eventually he gets his shit together. formulates a Batman Gambit to get the yakuza, corrupt police, and good police to take each other all out.

A depressed high school boy is hit by a truck. Rather than waking up in another world, he wakes up in the hospital. The series then follows his rehab as he learns to walk again.

An anime where instead of men growing older by the day, they are turned into power hungry loli gods and to attain their form they require worshippers and devour other loli gods.

Nekohi (neko+kohi)

Mc is isekai'd into a post-apocalyptic world through a mystic mirror inherited from obasan to work in a cat themed cafe isekai, iyashikei, fantasy

>Lived with obasan with not much knowledge of parents or any other family
>She always wore cute clothes, loved sweets, and was generally pampered silly thanks to obasan
>After obasan dies, she's left with inheritance
>Decent amount of money, recipe books, cute uniforms, pet cat and a mirror
>While MC is dusting off mirror, pet cat suddenly becomes affectionate, circling and rubbing against her legs
>After cleaning up the last spot of dust, the mirror glimmers
>"UWAHHHH!"
>Filler events transitioning into alternate world
>She meets her mother (unbeknownst to MC for a while) who happens to be the owner of said cafe
>Mother introduces and guides MC to the new world
>MC catches wind of something but isn't too bothered
>Mother explains what happened
>She wants MC to inherit the cafe

MC eventually accepts to do so. With the help of friends and family, MC explores different kinds of talents or abilities (fantasy/rpg part think log horizon talents) which she has an affinity for and can help the cafe. Through these events, she not only finds skills and abilities to help towards owning the cafe, but learns more about herself and the type of person she wants to be.

Sounds like a movie. Any other characters in mind?

Nice artwork! Your coloring works well. It does sound like a mellow series, with stakes about as low as Aria's. That said, I feel Aria's true strength was in its cast of characters, who over the course of 50-odd episodes became almost like family to the viewer. Do you have any other characters in mind for your project?

Ages ago, an immortal sorcerer-king ruled as a tyrant over the world, until his closest friend betrayed him. The ensuing war was catastrophic, but in the end saw the rebels triumphant: The king was overthrown, sealed within a block of stone, and cast into the depths of the ocean. Yet though the people were now free, the war had broken something deep within the world they inherited. Quietly, everything began shutting down.

Millennia passed. Little by little, the tides took their toll on the king's stone prison. In a sunless wasteland, an orphan girl finds a man washed up on the shores of the ash-gray sea. The king awakens after an eternity of agony to the silent ruins of his kingdom.

The king tells the girl of a secret gateway at the ends of the earth which leads to the land of the dead. There is someone there he must see one last time, and if the girl will follow him, she may yet reunite with her departed family. She agrees, and the two set off across the night.

But there is more to the king's plans than a mere reunion, and it is not out of kindness that he brings the girl along. Before the close of the world, she will face secrets from the forgotten past, and a terrible choice that awaits her and the king in the land of the dead.

A band of scavengers on some backwater junkyard planet find something, something the local government doesn't want them to have(It has a nasty habit of going after scavengers that find anything shiny because they want it all to themselves). Said scavengers want to keep it, so they run away from the forces of the local government. Whilst doing so, they find out that the thing they found is of great power, so they built some sort of war machine around it, and proceeded to use it to overthrow the planet's government with the assistance of disgruntled scavengers that had the stuff they found taken from them, and they succeed. Almost immediately after that, a force sent in by the regional government of the sector the planet is in tells them that they will offer the revolutionaries compensation for their troubles in exchange for using the thing they found to fight against aliens besieging the sector.

A young girl one day discovers she has a special ability when she finds herself inside a dream-like world inside her older brother's phone. Whatever you might find inside a phone, both physically and electronically, will show up in some way in these phone worlds and so long as her body is holding onto it, she can spend as much time as she pleases exploring them. Whatsmore she discovers that she can cross into other phone worlds while the phone she's using is connected to another one in some way.

Believing she can do some good with this ability, the girl helps hook her brother up with their childhood friend who so obviously likes him. Her undertaking is naturally rife with comedy and frustration but midway through her brother catches her in the act and she ends up getting in trouble for her nosy activities.

Her brother tells her off but later on their childhood friend brings over an old phone that belonged to a long missing friend of hers. She asks her to look inside the phone to see if she could find a clue that no else could but when the girl dives in she finds a strange phantom of the phone's original owner that acts like she's stuck halfway between present and the past.

The girl repeatedly tries to communicate with the phantom seeing no luck at first but eventually something gives way. The phantom is despondent at first to some questions about where the real her might have gone but then the girl finds herself forced out of the phone world and back into reality standing with her brother and their childhood friend standing by her.

This new experience scares the girl because nothing like it has ever happened before but then they notice that the phone had started ringing. A strange number appears on the dialing screen unlike anything they've ever seen but before they could make sense of it, the number changes to a familiar name and someone starts talking.

"Hello? Is it me you're looking for?"

I call this one "The Ghost On The Line".

>Japan suffers crippling earthquakes in the late 80's
>by the early 90's Japan's economy has collapsed,
>large areas of land are fukushima'd rendering them uninhabitable, megaslums develop around the cities
>crime increases for the first time
>marshal law is declared
>civilian government breaks down
>rationing is introduced
>yakuza becomes more powerful as the black market increases

MC is a former race car driver but now works as a runner (伝令)
Runners are drivers that transport illegal goods through uninhabitable areas to avoid law enforcement.
It is very hazardous work, there is also fierce competition between runners as most are controlled by rival crime syndicates.
Betting on runners is also very common.
MC finds himself heavily indebted to the mob after a job they were betting on goes wrong.
But he is offered a way to clear the debt.
All he has to do is drive a young girl (a witness in a high profile murder) to the US controlled neutral zone where she can claim asylum.
Unfortunately, the yakuza, expressway gangs, rival runners, corrupt police officials and eventually even the army are all trying to stop him.

I feel like downright saying a hentai with plot, but I fear getting banned.

So should I?

Go ahead. Nobody will care/read it anyway.
B-but I do.
