You know ive been wondering on something lately.Ive noticed something in myself.Ive noticed that I want struggle.

Not health struggle or barely being able to pay bills, but to survive. My goal as of recent has been to have land, raise some animals and crops to sustain myself and my future family.I might lose my current job on monday...but it isnt really fazing me much.It was a simple enough job but it was far away and didnt leave me much time with my girl and to do stuff. It was leading me to either move into apartment or a house in town...and that made me on edge

I didnt want the power companies to control me or the stores with food prices.I wanted to hunt and grow and raise my food and heat my house with wood and take in solar and wind.I know you cant completely go off grid around towns and such, but I want to live far enough from the town to be left alone to a good degree.

This brings me back to wondering the need for stuggle.Does man need it to be fulfilled? not be depressed and feel worthless? Ive had money trouble that have worried me,but im letting that fear go in favor of not being caught in the wage slave life.I will always work though, but dont want to lose myself in it all.I even think if I won the lottery I would be happy but eventually absolutely sad and bored with life.I feel I need to struggle,to work for my survival even in a small way

so instead of paying the electric company you want to pay the solar panel/battery/wind mill manufacturer? Please also consider that when you live that life style you are bound to your land like a middle age peasant, never able to leave because someone has to be there 24/7 to feed and water your animals and watch over your crops. You will also have to start from scratch, not having the benefits of 2000 years of humans improving the land and will most likely live in abject poverty your whole life whilst struggling to leave your land better for your children to build on.

I would rather pay the manufacture once then be paying the elec company forever..or at least at much lower cost as i would most likely still be on the grid I would be controlled by their pricing also.

>Please also consider that when you live that life style you are bound to your land like a middle age peasant, never able to leave because someone has to be there 24/7 to feed and water your animals and watch over your crops

yes I figure as much, thats the lifestyle I want.I have a wife that will take care of it while I work for the day

> You will also have to start from scratch, not having the benefits of 2000 years of humans improving the land and will most likely live in abject poverty your whole life whilst struggling to leave your land better for your children to build on.

That is the struggle and no,not all my life will be farming. Most large farms are subsidized anyway.I wont get that.My grandfather worked on trucks (semis) while farming corn and chickens and pigs.It can be done

>I would rather pay the manufacture once then be paying the elec company forever
fair enough, but leaving society is the final blue pill. (((They))) want the people who have woken up to sod off to some irrelevant corner of the country and focus on themselves. Just try to get all the facts and make a logical decision and make sure youre not just falling for another one of (((their))) tricks.

>I have a wife that will take care of it while I work for the day
we all want things, but one isnt going to materialize, certainly not in the middle of nowhere. Very few know about farming and even less want to continue doing it once they get the opportunity to leave.

>That is the struggle and no,not all my life will be farming
so you want to buy a bunch of stuff to ineffectively provide for only a portion of your needs, all while continuing to pay the electric company and food store? What does that gain besides more profit for (((them)))?

>Most large farms are subsidized anyway
which is why food is so cheap and easy to produce, you wont get a return on your cost growing your own once you factor in time. Not saying you shouldnt do it, but youre not going to compete with them.

>.My grandfather worked on trucks (semis) while farming corn and chickens and pigs.It can be done
a different time, he probably grew up around them and taking care of them was second nature. Theres a steep learning curve to living off or near off grid, just make sure youre not falling for the grass is greener and come up with a well researched plan. Its going to be a lot more work with much longer weeks than living a normal modern life, which is why people gave farming in the first place.

I really dig everything you are saying. My main goal is to not be so controlled.I saw my parents buy a house near a town for relatively cheap and the taxes weren't bad at all. Unfortunately for them the town expanded and soon a school was built right across from them. Then a doctors clinic and a store. Then more and more stuff. They lost any privacy and now their front road is super busy everyday, their taxes have gone up and now they struggle to pay em.Their township also outlawed all animals that would be raised as food and even how big gardens can be.They can either choose to live this or sell off their house. One good thing is its up in value, but my parents are old and can make such a big move.I dont want to be trapped like them.Controlled so totally by electric companies, stores etc etc.

If the power goes up in price they have no choice, food prices rise no choice, even if relatively cheap (depending on the food)

By not all my life farming,I mean that I will work, like my grandfather, but the way I see it human survival is no different then how it was in prehistoric times.Food, shelter etc .Medical is different as is zoning taxes and the like.I understand that.I want the ability to break off.I dont plan on making a profit on my off grid lifestyle, maybe selling duck eggs or a pig or two,but not huge selling.

I also dont plan to head out terribly far. Surprisingly there are a few township rural communities that stick to old farming ways...just on the lesser scale.Like minded people

>I want struggle.
Congratulations, you're a man.

i wish you the best. I just see so many neets or wageslaves on here who think that leaving their parents house or shithole apartment to go out in the woods and grow their own food is an easy way to continue their neet lifestyle with absolutely no background in it. All that they are going to accomplish is wasting a few years of their life and falling behind their peer. If you are going to make a go at it, take it serious and develop a good plan and master the skills before you do anything rash like quit your job. We dont need people leaving soceity and turtling, we need people our working hard to set the world right again, any way heres my opinion of a prepping order most to least important:

>stable job
>3 weeks of food and water
>double stack 9mm
>max 401k contributions and roth ira
>insurance (auto, home, life, etc)
>6 months of cash in the bank to live at current comfort level
>wife
>no debt (college, credit card, etc probably still have mortgage)
>children
>semi auto rifle/ammo
>college funds for children
>year supply of food/water
>dual citizenship in safe country like switzerland or new zealand
>producing own power
>producing own food
>etc
>etc
>etc
>solar flares, emp, yellowstone, etc

>dual citizenship in safe country like switzerland or new zealand
Like it's that easy. You have to live at least 5 years in NZ and 10 years in Switzerland to become citizen

its not supposed to be easy

oh believe me.I dont like the neet fucks that think they can survive in a cave all of a sudden, but run wires and shit or internet and go out once and awhile to feed animals

I dont want to turtle,id like to be involved in the community, mainly farming community and church community. My wife already is a good part of her church.I just want to be far enough away where I can have a shipping container put in my back yard for a workshop and the neighbors arnt gonna call the township on me.I want to raise my kids this way and while giving them their privacy,be more familial.I see alot of families sit at the dinner table and be on their phones the whole time.I see kids wanting hundreds of dollars in christmas gifts.Me and my wife already agreed on a 50 dollar limit on christmas and only a flip phone until 15 or 16.My wife also said we can use cloth diapers....she agreed to clean them though.

sounds like youre on the right track, good luck

>My wife also said we can use cloth diapers....she agreed to clean them though.
thats going to change pretty quick

>thats going to change pretty quick

lol thats what I said to her

Thanks for the tips bro and the chat.Cheers

One way to help society in general, is to teach others to live "off grid" and be independent. In some sense that gives you a way to expand whatever you need to expand. The mentor-student dependency is something very valuable society has lost and I would say that this is the primary reason why rural society falls short. Instead school is relied upon as the tutor and not the actual businesses with potential growth opportunities. Only people close to this rural context can actually learn about this, but when they all go to school, businesses lose valuable new problem solvers.

thats what Im hoping to teach my kids mainly, but I would also like to get my chops in it and then let people know how they can do it piece by piece.I think this is a common feeling with men.I see it in video games actually. So many are becoming open world with a survival system of eating, shelter, growing food ,hunting and gathering.People really eat it up.I think that is a subconscious feeling of wanting to work for your survival...like in humanities past.

>thats going to change pretty quick
I know women that use cloth diapers and they have a lot of children. High quality women are hard working.

You finaly understand manhood
Struggling for survival gets addictive once you try it out
To truly feel alive you have to be in a constant state of suffering and fear of death
I dont have any goals in life i simply find fulfillment in getting over that fear and anxiety of death and starvation in this 3rd world hell hole

The second you aren’t able to provide a comfortable life for your “girl” she will seek refuge in the arms of a shitskin and receive nigger sperm on her lips.

This is a fact, you can’t deny this faggot OP

well since ill have kids I dont want to go close to death and starvation, but I do see what you are saying.I do fancy the idea of knowing I NEED to cut firewood and I NEED to kill that pig and butcher him.

you are projecting pretty hard here

You know it’s true. You can go play stardew valley in real life farmer boy but just know your girl is going to resent you for it and take as much nigger sperm in her holes as she can as a result.

>stardew valley
You just revealed the fact that you're underage. Aren't you a little young to be a cuck? Perhaps you're just a nigger.

>I NEED to cut firewood and I NEED to kill that pig and butcher him.
Women respond well to these behaviors in my experience. It gives them a sense of well being. I always found it funny how women would come hang around when they knew I was chopping wood. They'd talk among themselves but I'd catch a lot of side eye.

You are a fucking idiot.

> you can't provide, so she runs into the arms of someone who can provide even less.

There’s nothing sweeter in this life than watching a petite blonde haired blue eyed white girl getting fucked by a warband of black males. Can you imagine the utter bliss? Ugh mmmmm

My balls swell with excitement at the mere thought of it.

good luck, youll either need to win the lottery to have enough good land to live off of, or youll need to become a mountain man and go live in alaska or yukon or something to be able to just roam around and live off the land for free.

you could probably get a shitty van and a small boat and fishing supplies and go live on the coast of the pacific northwest like the liberal hippies do.

Id kill for some land and the ability to get out of the wage slave life....that is a war for younger men though, and i feel eventually enough people will be willing to kill for land to do so...problem is it will be the immigrants wishing to return the land to its natural savage state rather than a high tier society

This is pretty low energy bait. I hope you don't think typing this kind of stupidity upsets anyone. Filtered.

as longs as i can have tendies and reliable high speed broadband and power i'm happy

head back to Sup Forums kiddo

Because you are so desperate to ditch your hideous, inferior form you will jump through hoops (ignoring that porn/prostitution changes the dynamic) to rationalize it your desire to not be what you are. Truly sad. You will always be a nigger.

This is called the power process. Read Ted Kaczynski, he describes exactly what you are saying.

you dont really need the lottery or be a hermit. You can do it just fine with 5 acres...maybe even less.Im not making a clean break from society, just wanna be on the edge of it...prob a little more actually

I guess I’ve set a nerve or two in this thread. The truth stands the rest of time. Race mixing is at an all time high. Even when I’m watching amateur porn I realize the white girls cum harder receive a black man. Whenever I see plain vanilla couples going at it the white girl seems disinterested and the look of pity is apparent.

Watching a sweet redhead with green eyes on her knees eagerly waiting her protein mmmmmm

Love the way she perks up when the Jewish camera man asks her if she wants more mmmmmmm

>I guess I’ve set a nerve or two in this thread

Calling you out as a retard is basic..try not to look to much into it kiddo

You are suppressing your urges, I was just like you once upon a time but incame around. The contrast in colors is what makes it sexy anyways

I think ''struggle = meaning'' is pretty universally true for all humans and humanity. Are there any good stories without struggle? The outcome doesn't matter, victory or defeat, the story can't be good if there is not a struggle. Modernity has tried to defeat struggle, and the casaulty was meaning for human life.

So I think you are on the right track. Most people are living in an comfortable illusion where their trivial ''struggles'' are enough to give meaning to them. I believe they find meaning from the struggle to conform, and we who have disregarded social approval and recognized the ''struggles'' of our times as faux-struggles are destined for misery living a modern life.

uh huh

I pretty much agree with all you said.I figured if I was a millionaire I would start buying shit and going places but after a few years I would have no meaning...everything is...done.

Also that is a comfy gif...would be the comfiest if the guy would clean the living room

>Modernity has tried to defeat struggle, and the casaulty was meaning for human life.
You're really reminding me of societies descent into nihilism here.
