TIME TO WATCH ANIME IN 460p AGAIN

TIME TO WATCH ANIME IN 460p AGAIN
GET YOUR CRTs READY

Why?

>CRTs
Will we ever have a proper display technology like this again?
Or are we stuck with fixed pixel garbage for eternity?

MOM GET OFF THE PHONE I NEED INTERNET

crt had pixels too

>GET YOUR CRTs READY
I wish. Having instant access to all this Anime just fuels my addiction.

>3.32TB for 4.5k anime files
jesus are each of the files you have 300-500mb or something?

>average of less than 130mb
Disgusting

What the fuck is even 460p? Did you mean 360p or 480p?

You mean 700-800?

I tend to check for the version with the best quality for my tastes and then get that.
An episode is usually around 800MB to 1.2GB I'd say, some older anime sadly isn't available in anything decent (or the BD releases just plain suck like for ZnT).
Then there's movies which are around 10GB quite often, with some being a bit less or a bunch more (EoE is 20GB large - then again the episodes are 2GB/file as well).

I'm reorganising, though - pic is an example of the more organised one, the insides of my Lupin III folder - so as I'm in the middle of organising there's still roughly 1TB left in the previous main folder.
that's probably going to get the average file size down a bunch as well, as it includes series like DBZ and DBGT (which have like 480p releases at best for the most part).

It's 480p, you philistine.

>not encoding his anime to save space for more anime
please dont tell me you thought only 480p quality or below can be small sized files

I remember seeing HEVC files that are small but still look good

Probably referring to native resolution making LCDs only look good at one setting.

>not already watching older anime exclusively via CRT
Do you even a e s t h e t i c?

i watch in 380p anyway, honestly don't give a fuck

240p master race

>what is TT

you need to seriously consider what life choices you have made that got you to this point.

what's wrong with ZnT's BD? watched that show online for the first time and thinking to download and rewatch it again

Tokyo tower?

>rewatching

144 hardsubbed only, m8.

VHS rips with amiga subs masterrace

The 1080p releases of ZnT's BD are super blurry and washed out, the upscale is really messy.
For BD I'd get the (720p) releases by Doki.

>460
>p
Millennial spotted. You've probably never even used a CRT monitor before.

>not watching your anime as a .bmp slideshow at a 1 second interval and reading the subtitle transcript along with it

It's as if I don't know you people.

so?
You are probably too old to be here or watch cartoons.

>not converting your anime into an txt file

...

My cat somehow wandered into my CRT once
It (and he) fucking exploded

You have my condolences.

>not printing out that text file

>not writing it with quill and ink

>not using your pinky and blood

modern panels can get ctr like response nowadays, check blurbusters.

Human eye can't see more than 360p.

You mean 2p.

Coincidentally for the first time in a while I had to stream anyway two days ago because I couldn't find a torrent of "Tiger & Bunny".

I looks like ass.
