Hello folks, it's the one year anniversary of Libertarian Right General, and I thought I'd say something different this time.
From the very first thread and the very first regulars all the way to now is like a dream, I don't think any of us imagined what a place /LRG/ would hold in our hearts. We've had a long and busy year together, we've seen a lot of new faces and have seen a few of the old ones go. I'm one of the new faces myself, and I can say that becoming part of this is probably one of the most fun times and most productive times I've ever had. I love (almost) every single damn member of this little radical domestic terrorist cell and I wouldn't trade my time spent with you guys for anything.
We live in a fucked up world right now, where none of us, whatever your flavor of Libertarianism is, can say that we're getting anywhere close to our dreams. We are surrounded by a sick and dying world, with ever growing ever more pervasive government over-reach and statist boot-licking. At our throat is the hand of all our enemies, the Egalitarians, the Jewish Cabal Elite, all the rainbow colors of Leftism, and most sickeningly the force they use to choke us - the State. I don't think any of us will see in our lifetimes an end to the madness, not even close to that, but I think what we're doing when we come together here is necessary if we're to take the first steps. We need to be the ones to pave the way for future generations to go farther than us, so that one day somewhere mankind can live without these chains. The way may be paved with our blood, it may be paved with our words, our deeds, or the specific hearts we've touched, but we will carve it out.
This thread is for discussion of property rights, self-determination, natural order, right-libertarianism and the PHYSICAL REMOVAL of COMMUNIST FAGS from our board of peace. Reminder that this is the Libertarian RIGHT General. Left-Libertarians, Cosmopolitan freaks, Open borders cucks and other assorted libertine degenerates need to fuck off.

A year ago today I made a thread on Sup Forums titled “/lrg/ - Libertarian Right General”. I remember making the thread with two thoughts in my mind, the first, I believed Sup Forums was occupied overwhelmingly by libertarians who like myself thought nazi memes where hilarious. The second thought was that libertarians presented themselves as soft cuckboys and that we should alter our image. It should be said that I am embarrassed about how I presented myself and libertarianism at the time, but what little lolberg me thought then hasn’t changed in essence. It was only after two or three threads after the first that someone who would become a good friend and the real intellectual architect of /lrg/ showed up. A Portuguese poster I came to know as Portubro. I had vaguely known of Hans-Hoppe at the time but Portubro was a Hoppe super-fan and as he began to post snippets from his works I became interested and quickly jumped aboard the Hoppe train myself. I thank Portubro for making more serious and more confident in my assertions of what libertarianism was meant to be presented as.

At this time the /lrg/ crew consisted of myself, portubro, a brit who ran our website, another brit who I assume was robo, and a spanish poster from /liberty/. The spanish fella was the bane of the narrative me and portubro were trying to push, I really started to dislike him, he was constantly making announcements about how we don’t really want to throw communists out of helicopters, we just want gays to be able to smoke weed and all that crap. He wasn’t the only person like this but he was the main offender. I knew these people had to go and someone was soon to show up who would help me alienate them. A Slovakian angel had fell from the sky, and I liked this madman for a few reasons. One, he was not a cuck and would never back down or take a lolberg tone and he knew how to combat others who were perceived as more far-rightist without seeming like a libtard spaz. Two, he was a supreme shit talker and shitposter. The fucking things I would catch him saying outside of /lrg/ threads were hilarious and edgy. Slovakbro cranked up the intensity for /lrg/ and scared away all the libtards. I said then and think now that he was a great representative for us, especially in the Sup Forums environment. Oh and the guy named me Founding Father, so cheers Slovakbro, you also made me in a way.

I’d like to think /lrg/ played a massive role in changing the way libertarianism is viewed in far right crowds what with all the reactionary propaganda I made and the attitudes of people like slovakbro and hoppean guidance of portubro, not to forget Hoppewave which was his invention and today has taken off greatly by other artists. I’ve seen my own art and propaganda in places I never thought I’d see it, my Mises pepe used by the mises institute, both my own and portubros oc in truediltom videos. Its a beautiful thing and Im proud of what I started and what all of you shaped this thing into in the last year. Now lets look back for with some nostalgia posting and move foward for another 148888 years of /lrg/

I agree with you concerning the family, and I doubly agree with you that family significantly changes our time preference - whether we prefer rewards in the now or greater ones in the future. We begin to think beyond our lifespan.
The thing about the ideal family unit is that it is a voluntary and personal structure. The natural progression of the family unit into society is the neighborhood, the village, people choosing to live together and form a community because it benefits all and life is far better that way. The relationship between the husband and wife, or parents and children, does not extend naturally into a state.

Adult human beings are not children. Adult human beings normally are capable of using their environment to ensure their continued survival and further their quality of life, this is something children cannot do but became progressively more able to do until they are independent beings. An adult that cannot do this is deformed, in mind or body.
The parent of a child is their creator and direct provider. The parent never takes from the child, rather the nature of the parent-child relationship is that the parent gives to the child! The state inherently is parasitic, it must take from every individual to continue its survival. It doesn't give anything to the people that could not be provided in some other way. The child is entirely dependent on and needs their parents.

When family tells you to do something, you choose to listen. You are never 'made' to support an ailing relative - you choose to. Pressure to is not the same thing as coercive force, influence does not remove choice. I have seen many well meaning people make horrible mistakes again and again and again. Does this mean they cease to own themselves or that I can own them? No. It means they need to deal with the consequences of their actions.
I have tried to and will continue to try to help these people, of my own accord, of my own will, because I am a human being. But people are responsible for themselves.
