I usually watch shows one season behind, but thats because i'm busy and like to watch my shows in one or two sessions when I get stretches of free time.

There is absolutely no reason to wait for BD uploads that may or may not be available in a timely fashion. Except for shit like TLR:D, which is worthless to watch the TV airings of.

I can't watch a show weekly, my interest simply won't sustain itself for that long, even if it's a show I really like. I'm more of a marathoner than a weekly anime watcher, and really I'm just more of a mangafag.

The only show that managed to get me to watch it weekly all the way until the finale was Kemono Friends, and only because I could marathon the three-episode rule. I doubt I'd have stayed a week for episode 2.

I prefer watching things in one big bingewatch rather than waiting for episodes (Same goes for western shows. Only exception is something episodic like Bob's Burgers or some shit like that).

There's very few exceptions and if there's a manga of it, i'll usually go finish the manga instead.
