>Streaming
>quality
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That picture seriously requires some adjustments. Streaming does not provide the same quality as downloading. It might hold true for reallz current releases, but good luck finding a 1080 BDRIP stream for something as simple as a 20GB file of a Ghibli movie. And if you can't even find it for those don't even try older tv shows or stuff by less known studios. You cabt even properly stream NGE either.

You can watch streams through your video player.

It is identical to downloading the torrent and then watching it. Both times you are playing the same file, unless the uploader converted it before upload.

>what is sequential downloading?

Explain this.

>streaming
>video quality
>audio quality
>no ads
i'll take the goddamn bait, here.

Tell me the exact episodes and minutes.

>the uploader converted it before upload.
Which the streaming service always does, you fucking retard.

You can't tell me there's anyone left without an adblocker.

yes but the streaming sites compress the video/lower the bitrate so it takes less bandwidth to send to you

Is this bait, or all streamfags this ignorant?

>unless the uploader converted it before upload
which ALWAYS happens.
nobody streams at a high bitrate
the bandwidth required to not do so would be insane

also
>xdcc
>watch immediately
it has the same delay as torrenting does

He clearly watched it through the browser and not his video player.

What do you think horriblesubs uploads are? The downloaded streams of crunchyroll.
If you go to crunchyroll and watch the stream through your video player you get the exact same thing, and you can turn off subs too.

>nyaa go down
>streamfag start shilling

Amazing.

You can watch while downloading with xdcc.

>kill la kill
Episode 3 around 20:36(at least on the FFF bluray)
>SnK
Episode 30, opening

Have fun depending on fansubbers for releases now.

>streaming
>video quality
>no ads

>he doesn't watch anime on Blu-Ray on a 1080p 60fps television

Why anyone would want to watch a battle harem in 1080p?

Streaming is the way to go now, Torrents were way better in the 2000's and early 2010's because everyone had slow internet connections, now you can watch a 720p streaming without buffering the video, without ads and for free.

The only reason that someone would use torrents is to download a movie in high resolution

So all I have to do is copypaste commands from nibl into #news? I see people using !find, but I'm too autistic to reveal my tastes.

>He clearly watched it through the browser and not his video player.
Do you think that magically changes everything? It does help a bit yes, but not to that degree, that's kissanime being jews and lowering the bitrate.

>What do you think horriblesubs uploads are? The downloaded streams of crunchyroll.
And you remember when Crunchyroll then decided to throttle their videos by nuking the video quality a few days after release?

also
>all anime is horriblesubs
Streamfags

Stream shills sure are taking the opportunity to go all out.

To illustrate here's a screen I took by running
ยป mpv crunchyroll.com/boruto-naruto-next-generations/episode-1-boruto-uzumaki-732523
and jumping to 10:10

>video quality
>streaming

Same with torrents.
Your point?

Ditto for torrents.

As opposed to what everyone has always been doing.

>720p

>that's kissanime being jews and lowering the bitrate.
Yeah, and I said that streams would give you exactly the same file, or the same bytes, unless there's some compression going on.

One could argue that XDCC is streaming, as you can watch while the file downloads, but without seeking.

Streaming per se isn't bad just because sites use compression.

How many of them are left again from 5 years ago?

>organizing a library
No chance with streaming.

>now you can watch a 720p streaming without buffering the video
check your privilege

But the truth is that literally all sites uses compression, even your beloved Crunchyroll. And it is nearly always badly done, killing the quality.

Is it hard to find old releases on xdcc? I haven't used it in a while, but ten years ago I used to download everything with xdcc. There was a lot of stuff that didn't have torrents back in the day.

>using streaming sites that watermark shit
please don't do this

Of the good ones, UTW is the only ones that stopped subbing.

1080 kissanime

720p torrent

You could use sha to compare and see if the file downloaded through the stream is identical to the one that got uploaded.

I don't know, I never used crunchyroll or other streaming sites before my example above.

Just in theory it's possible to receive the exact same file with streaming.

No matter how many time you tell them streamfags will just ignore it.

It's a shame really

Stop trying to justifying streaming, faggot.

Torrentfags epic BTFO

I once tried with Kissanime, after a guy tried arguing exactly like you, and it turned out that the same movie was several times smaller.

The problem is that you're arguing based on vague theories and "what ifs" rather than reality.

Torrentfags are such oldfags I bet they still use media player with CCCP and KCP

DELETE THIS

Are streamers the consolefags of anime?

Go away Sup Forums, you're part of the problem.

No, they're actually worse. At least consoles have some exclusives here and there that makes them theoretically worthwhile.

This is a dumb post. You should feel dumb.

ab

Im a torrentfag and I prefer console. I mean why would you not?

Japanese games > Western games

What's a good place to archive my shit? I don't have a lot, but I would rather not lose it if there's a hardware failure.

Recognizing the inferiority of consoles does not make one part of Sup Forums, user.

Most Nip games are on PC anyways these days outside of handhelds.

Just set the torrent to download in sequential order.

Delete it and grow up.

Kissanime doesn't even try to have better quality, they use re-encondes(doubt if streamfags know what a re-encode is) instead of using the BD release.

NoobSubs is a re-encode group.

>inferior video quality
>inferior audio quality
>harder to find quality release
>risk for spyware
>limited viewing time because episodes are taken down
>cannot archive
>gives money to mangafox-like websites
Streaming is shit, fuck you.

>Most Nip games are on PC anyways
Shut up, pleb.

I have a lot of Nyaa torrents I want to dump...where do I dump them?

In the Sup Forums attempt to remake Nyaa

lemme get dat invite

Shut up console pissant.

Set up a RAID.

diff.pics/hrbqe3kYs75P/1

If you want really long term you'll need a magnetic drive, a few years just set up a RAID like suggested

I meant magnetic tape

>Most Nip games are on PC
the only nip games that are consistently on pc are hgames and VNs

this threads is bait

>risk for spyware
>gives money to website
run a fucking adblocker holy shit, the only people who don't are tech illiterate grandmas or moralfags who want to "support the advertising industry"

even after you get an adblocker you should still not stream anime though

Its time to stop living in 2009, user.

>consumes media designed to further you from the difficulties of life
>wants to go through the relative hassle of torrenting it
Or maybe you folks REALLY need to escape from your lives

If you want to wait 8 years to play Bayonetta.

>diff.pics/ZZ8LJtUxJCRH/2
>isnt even the same frame
low quality bait

Torrenting isn't a hassle, particularly not if you use RSS.

I mean, "I don't care that much about having the best quality and I want to go for the easiest/lowest-effort option" is probably the best and most honest reason for streaming.

It's not really that much effort especially if you set your torrent client to automatically download the shit off of RSS feeds. But I know see that some people just really don't like learning to do new things.

That's a pretty good analogy

Every conversation with a streamfag goes likes this
>"streaming is just as good as downloading"
>a dozen posts explaining why he's wrong
>"quality isn't really that important anyway"

>Just in theory it's possible to receive the exact same file with streaming.

Irrelevant because in practice it isn't feasible.

Bottom is the stream right?

>Torrents
>Easy to find old releases
Not anymore.

The watermark's right there.

nyaa.pantsu.cat

made from a year-old backup so it won't have any super new shit but all the old releases you want to search for are there

I'm blind, and even I can see the difference

On youtube you can stream 4k/60fps

Both look like horseshit

If you were so incompetent and retarded that you only used Nyaa for torrents, then yeah, I suppose it's now difficult for you to find old releases.

Again you prove how little you know, because as any youtuber will tell you, youtube does lower the quality, with no control of you the uploader.

The pantsu nyaa?

There's no upload button.

Go in the thread and ask how you can contribute with your files.

>youtube does lower the quality
that doesn't refute my point, the 4k/60fps video they stream to you is higher bitrate than most anime, so it is feasible.

user resolution is not the only contributor to quality
pic related, it is 1080p but has heavy jpeg compression and looks like shit
but it's only 1/10th the filesize of the original image
if my name was Youtube or Kissanime it would 1/10th as much money to send to people
