The problem is money. As long it's just an ad for HTC Vive, it will be all right. But if they will have to start ads, censorship will begin to not anger advertisers. Just like on YouTube.
And yes, it's possible to censor people. It will start with a simple detection of profanity. Good old speech to text that's already there. AI could also analyze textures and shapes of user created content, so everything could be censored.
