Given Mindfuck's ability, he's definitely got the best mentor since Aizawa's quirk is of a similar caliber (only works on certain types of quirks, easily countered if you rob him of line of sight).

What Mindfuck needs to be an effective hero is the means to take down people without his quirk and focus on misdirection and hiding his true ability for as long as possible. An ambush type hero is ideal given his ability.

Have a reason to write the main class out for a few months of publishing time. Focus switches to the second class in this period for a stand alone story arc with its own villain. Give the core members of the class the spotlight (So Ibara, Tetsu*4, Itsuka, I guess Neito, and a fifth to fill a personality archetype missing in that line-up) while giving all the others at least one defining moment each.

I wonder if, once Aizawa teaches him more about hand-to-hand combat, Shinsou will be able to force people to verbally respond to him. Like imagine if he said something to someone, punched them in the gut, and they went "Augh!" in pain, but that "Augh!" technically counts as a verbal response. I doubt that's exactly what would happen, but that would be kind of cool.

I am pretty sure you can punch someone in the gut without going through long martial arts trainings.

That'll be the case. And while it's not as easy to cast as Aizawa's quirk, it is a lot more versatile in the case of info gathering.

Shinsou is lucky to have a certain niche while 90% of these fucks are going to be generic nobody heroes that are overshadowed by people with better versions of their quirk (sugar vs deku, yaoi hands vs mt lady is a good example)
