Why waste tax money on armies that fight over oil? Why not take the military’s budget and put it into NASA? Earth is a dying planet. Mars is the next frontier. Bring back space exploration.

Mars is a literal dead planet

kek, space is fake, earth is flat

>Why not take the military’s budget and put it into NASA?
Because if a war breaks out between Saudi Arabia and Iran, Venezuela, or North Korea, how are we going to defend ourselves?

>Earth is a dying planet.
No, it's really not

Dude, Mars is just a hologram man. The Earth is really flat and NASA has been lying to us man.

>TFW it's easier to go into space and terraform a dead planet than it is to live next to niggers.

Earth is flat

Mars is a planet stuck in stasis.
1. It has a atmosphere
2. It has water stored in ice caps
That’s all you need,
Mars can be habitable if are taxes funded it.

People who dont think Mars colonization is humanities next evolutionary step as a species are actual, literal brainlets. Your gunna get a lot of them on this post.

Why do blacks that don’t have money wear shit that makes it look like they do?

I’m white, net worth near 1 mil and I drive a shit car and wear regular clothes. I guess because I plan on using my money to retire and live comfortably when I’m ready to retire.

Mars also has no magnetosphere. So unless the technology exists to restart a planets core like in that movie then long term colonisation of mars is off the table.

Cant believe people fall for this shit.
Nasa (hebrew for decieve from above) is just another jew trick. Take billions for some crappy cgi pictures, keep goyim stupid and distracted.

>Earth is a dying planet.

t. Sodomite

It's pronounced "Nasha" tho

cuz they wuz KANGZZ AND......whats the word here !

You all like feeding into false media eh? When it’s time for more advanced Humans to go to Mars, you’ll be left behind.

Do not enter someone else's planet without knowing how to fight The Thing and demon alien spirits that can posess crew members and return with invasion in mind

You open portals to hell when you go to other planets

earth chad vs mars cucks

That actually isn't much of a problem, Nasa already proposed a way that you can put a reactor in mars's L1 orbital lagrange point and string a few pieces of monofilament out into space a few thousand miles long and generate a magnetic field 70-80,000 miles across in space which will deflect about 90% of the solar radiation, they estimated once this is done mars would rapidly start accumulating an atmosphere and within only about 10 years you'd already have one about 1/5th as thick as earth at sea level, and it would keep going beyond that, half a century you might have an actual atmosphere.

The problem though is that mars's gravity won't hold it for long, so after a few million years, it's gonna all leak back out into space.

>Why not take the military’s budget and put it into NASA? Earth is a dying planet. Mars is the next frontier. Bring back space exploration.
At the end of the day, all humans want to fuck and have babies. The ones that didn't want to fuck and have babies were wiped out by evolution.

So most of the humans who exist today want to fuck and have babies (if they didn't, we would be wiped out). Now, when you say that Mars is the next frontier and we should explore it, the question is, why? Many men can get pussy on Earth without exploring Mars.

Also, Mars needs to have something of economic value to warrant its colonization. It can't have oil since oil is organic in nature. At best it can have uranium reserves and other natural resources. So you have a situation where you're going to colonize mars just so that you can send miners to Mars?

Human society has existed without all the current tech. If push comes to shove, we can regress back to living in huts and do without exploring Mars. Because at the end of the day, it's all about pussy.

In order to reactivate Mars' core you'd have to throw Phobos down to the planet and then Mars would be uninhabitable for who knows how many thousand years.

It's just not an appropriate planet, and it was our best bet too, just give up, we won't leave this planet ever.

Because that is how the USA backs up their money.

Also, sage

But Mars is so small and how would the lack of gravity effect our bodies etc? That moon off Jupiter is probably easier to colonise and i think its similar to Mars in temperature due to having an atmosphere.

This

The virgin retreat to mars vs the Chad planetary home fortress

It is geologically inactive. That means no magnetosphere. That means high levels of cosmic radiation and atmospheric erosion. It's one of those things you need on a planet to make it habitable for humans.

>Temperatures of -200 something F

Okay jimmy

governments learned from the colonization fo america. if we ever get around to settling Mars, they will just declare independence

>Sup Forums hasn’t taken the Canals pill

I am gonna continue your little list
3. Mars has no magnetosphere, so unless you can restart the rotation of it's core, the radiation will kill you.
4. Lack of solar wind protection and low gravity also makes it hard to create a thick atmosphere.
5. What you see at the "ice caps" is solid CO2 not H2O

Why not take social security budget and put that into space exploration? Military budget is a pittance in comparison to what we spend on socialism. That's true even for USA with your massive military.

Mars was literally fucking nuked to shit.
Forget Marduk all you want, I don't get that satisfaction.

We should just militarize space.

Because we're fucking retarded.

>People who dont think Mars colonization is humanities next evolutionary step as a species are actual, literal brainlets.
Why is this the next evolutionary step? Evolution tries to determine the species that best fit the environment. Are you saying that those who explore space are better suited to the environment? If so, then you're the brainlet.

You need advanced technology to explore and colonize other planets. Evolution doesn't choose species that have advanced tech. Evolution chooses species that fit the environment from birth.

Stop watching so much liberal space opera.

You're definitely trolling at this stage.

Why not kick all the non whites out of Western civilisation to save all the welfare money and social capital, abolish democracy, go full fash and have outer solar colonies by 2030?

FPBP

Mars doesn't have enough oxygen, atmospheric pressure, gravity or magnetosphere to make it a livable planet. The only thing it has going for it is that it's close to earth. It's the equivalent to wanting to go out to eat instead of cooking and settling for the nearest thing to your house, which turns out to be a garbage dump full of used diapers.

1. You could build under the surface.
2. Low gravity would allow humans to do heavier menial work without machines
3. Thin atmosphere would allow easier launches of rockets, while also allowing the use of parachutes.
4. The lack of water allows building on the whole planet's surface.
5. No niggers allows for technological and scientific advancements beyond our wildest dreams

Elon Musk needs to stop making threads.

yeah mayne. let's get close to Jupiter
besides they are just giant fucking rocks
pointless huh. Get resources out of them

...

user, I want you to look around you and understand something. Pretty much everything man made thing you see has been touched by oil. Oil is what powered the trucks/ships/trains that delivered all those goods. Even NASA is touched by oil. These two things, oil vs mars, are not mutually exclusive.

>Low gravity would allow humans to do heavier menial work without machines
You do know that this destroys tensile bone strength, right? Or are you just another sodomite?

Delet

>send two nuclear weapons to Mars poles

This

Low gravity has effect on the human body. Look at that Asian who just came back from the space station who grew a few inches.

nukes don't exist ,
> there are good missiles though
> there are nuclear reactors though
> but missiles, fear propaganda to create fear

It's almost like they would be wearing a suit to protect them from the dangerous conditions. A sort of space suit, if you will.

did he become younger too

How is that a problem? If you're not doing any heavy work, just wear a lead west. You'd get radiation protection as a side effect.

Holy shit
happening

It would be much easier to fix earth with the budget you propose. Exterminating all the brown earthlings is much less of a logistical challenge than creating a habitable Mars and getting the white people there.

Lacking a Magnetosphere is the big deal for a planet supporting much of anything. Earth has a molten metal core and the liquid metal maintains the magnetosphere that keeps the atmosphere contained and prevents it from being stripped away from the solar winds.

Meanwhile, Mars has a solid core and its magnetosphere is gone, and the atmosphere that used to be much, much thicker has thinned by a huge percentage and is continuing to lose pressure each year. Yes, you could melt polar ice caps for moisture. Yes, you could blast way parts of either of its moons for sooty soil to be dispersed to more easily grow things on the surface. And yes, shit might actually grow.

But without the molten metal core and the magnetosphere, it's a fart in the wind. Creating domed cities and subterranean bases? Fuck, go for it. That might actually go somewhere.

Gravity, you filthy sodomite. You'll lead us all into oblivion.

>profit?
>profit.
What exactly is this profit you speak of? Profit implies that you've economically gained on the efforts you put in. How are the investors going to profit from Mars?

I think he was memeing albeit quite poorly

There are still people who believe in space?
It's 2018.

>Still not enough atmospheric pressure
>Still not enough gravity
>Still not enough of a magnetosphere
You might have solved the oxygen problem, but the planet is still impossible to live on because the air is too thin, the lack of gravity will ruin your bones, and the magnetosphere is so weak the radiation will kill you.

Research. The planet is dying, global warming is becoming a huge problem.
Humans evolve and adapt. We’ve come so far in 400 years just to stopped by wars and conflict.
2020: Russia and China are planning manned missions to the Moon
SpaceX, And NASA all are planning on reaching Mars in sight of finding a livable planet. This is why funding needs to be put elsewhere.

>0.06 atmospheric pressure, humans collapse at 0.33 atm and thats with 20% oxygen
>no magnetosphere, enjoy your cancer
>0.37g, enjoy your shitty bones

>planetlet
>ugly moons not even round

It's shit.

Why can't life be like my sci-fi and shit, if I was president or prime minister I would put all the money in the space program and we would live happily ever after yay!

With the lower gravity on mars, you're able to engineer exotic material that wouldn't be possible on earth, like transparent glass that is as hard as steel.

Why do you think that, honestly? sure it would take more than a couple wires in space but Earth's magnetic field is nonexistent compared even to a regular fridge magnet. Add that to the fact that Mars is further from the Sun that Earth and you could potentially make it work...

>Research. The planet is dying, global warming is becoming a huge problem.
People said global warming would end the world 30 years ago. It's just a natural ice age cycle. And it's easier to compensate for than going to a world where there's literally no resources to work with except for the ones we take with us.

No oil on mars

0.006 atm*

>The planet is dying, global warming is becoming a huge problem.

>With the lower gravity on mars, you're able to engineer exotic material that wouldn't be possible on earth, like transparent glass that is as hard as steel.
Why go to mars? Why not just go to higher altitudes near earth orbit? Every time someone suggests going to mars, they flat-out ignore all the problems mars has in terms of colonization and never explain how landing on mars would be any better than drifting in space near earth.

.06 atmospheric pressure, humans collapse at 0.33 atm and thats with 20% oxygen
Pressurized habitats.
>>no magnetosphere, enjoy your cancer
Radiation shielded roofs or underground habitats.
.37g, enjoy your shitty bones
Weighted clothing
% carbon dioxide 0.1% oxygen
Make your own oxygen.
>>planetlet
It's not about size but how you use it.
>>ugly moons not even round
Two is better than one.

>Why do you think that, honestly?
What's going to protect the reactor from asteroids, comets, and other attacks. It may be feasible as a science experiment, but artificially generating a magnetic field is not a pragmatic approach in the long run.
>Add that to the fact that Mars is further from the Sun that Earth and you could potentially make it work...
How does this affect solar wind and radiation?

>Why can't life be like my sci-fi and shit, if I was president or prime minister I would put all the money in the space program and we would live happily ever after yay!

>Every time someone suggests going to mars, they flat-out ignore all the problems mars has in terms of colonization and never explain how landing on mars would be any better than drifting in space near earth.

That would protect only against charged particles. You'd probably need a proper atmosphere to stop cosmic radiation and high frequency light.

...

>What's going to protect the reactor from asteroids, comets, and other attacks.
Space is kind of empty, you know. Contrary to popular belief, asteroids don't kick your ass the moment you enter outer space.

>0.06 atmospheric pressure, humans collapse at 0.33 atm and thats with 20% oxygen
It’s called pressure suits. Astronauts and divers use them.
>no magnetosphere, enjoy your cancer
Put Radiation protection over structures and the suits until we get the planet spinning or until we find a way to make one.
>0.37g, enjoy your shitty bones
Why wouldn’t you work out daily? Mars would be a land whale free planet.
>96% carbon dioxide 0.1% oxygen
Kickstart the atmosphere with nukes
>planetlet
>ugly moons not even round

>Like NASA didn't lie about...well, everything
>Like we haven't already been there
>Like were not set up...there right now
>Like we haven't been for a loooonnnnng time

>What's going to protect the reactor from asteroids, comets, and other attacks. It may be feasible as a science experiment, but artificially generating a magnetic field is not a pragmatic approach in the long run.
Well the proposed idea is L1 of Mars so that's a stable point and is very very unlikely to collide with anything, also it doesn't have to be a reactor but more like a solar panel with wires to generate a magnetic field.

>How does this affect solar wind and radiation?
Radiation of any kind decreases with the square of distance so by itself, Mars gets less radiation directly from the Sun. Of course, it comes from everywhere else in space as well..

Whites are a race of inventors and explorers.
>Feeds African niggers instead

>until we get the planet spinning
.
.
>Finally, after thousands of years and trillions of dollars, the planet is spinning!
>Now what?

>now what?
Well user. We would have a livable planet.

>>wasting money on military
>>use on dead planet
>>get invaded by other countries

Yeah its a waste of money.

>It’s called pressure suits. Astronauts and divers use them.
>Put Radiation protection over structures and the suits until we get the planet spinning or until we find a way to make one.
So you're going to live inside an air-tight building specifically designed to shield you from the completely uninhabitable environment and put on a space suit any time you want to go outside?

What's the point in even landing on the planet's surface if you're just going to live in a spaceship anyway?

Yeah, let's spend money to LEAVE a planet we're perfectly adapted to. Let's leave our gravity well, an extremely difficult feat and go somewhere else. Why? There's literally nothing in space that isn't cheaper on Earth.

If I were god, I'd definitely put messages like that all over the place. It'd be hilarious to see scientists struggle to explain a massive cloud spelling "fuck niggers" with randomness and chance.

To terraform it and make it to where the spacesuits and pressurized buildings become obsolete

We should rather put the money into clean energy research and invent effective accumulators. Effective long distance transmission of electricity would also be cool.
Imagine geothermal power plants on Iceland feeding the power grid of northern Europe.
A rocket can't store much freight, a colonization mission to Mars would cost galactic amounts of ressources, time and bear a huge risk. Imagine literally shooting rare ressources, well trained personell and hightech into the void for years and years and then failing, it would be catastrophic.
If we can't even MAINTAIN this ecosystem how could we be able to BUILD one 56.000.000km. away?

>wants to fly millions of miles into space to a shithole planet with no trees and try to turn it into earth instead of just not being a lazy shithead.

you sound like a perfectly logical and sane person and I wish you, and your associates, all the best in your endeavour.

Yeah, you're probably talking about the core of Mars. The planet itself is already spinning, with a day about as long as one on Earth. If you managed to get the core to spin, you might create a massive magnet protecting the planet from certain types of radiation.

>To terraform it and make it to where the spacesuits and pressurized buildings become obsolete
BUT YOU STILL HAVE NO GRAVITY, NO MAGNETOSPHERE AND NOT ENOUGH AIR PRESSURE TO BREATHE. YOU CAN'T JUST NUKE MORE AIR INTO THE ATMOSPHERE.

>If we can't even MAINTAIN this ecosystem how could we be able to BUILD one 56.000.000km. away?
That one has no niggers and no women's studies majors.

>Colonizing another planet is easier than overpowering noggs and banshees

>YOU CAN'T JUST NUKE MORE AIR INTO THE ATMOSPHERE.
Of course you can. It wouldn't be breathable, but you certainly could create an atmosphere. You'd have to keep replenishing the atmosphere all the time, though.
