How come there is never an isekai where the MC actually misses his home world and wants to get back?

How come there is never an isekai where the MC actually misses his home world and wants to get back?

Also how come isekais never have female MCs?

There is, for both.

>lso how come isekais never have female MCs?
Self insert

What is Inuyasha?

Why would anyone want to leave their harem members and super powers behind to go live as a NEET in japan?

>Also how come isekais never have female MCs?
What is Twelve Kingdoms?
What is Escaflowne?
What is Fuushi Yugi?
Lurk moar, OP.

I didn't ask for recommendations, motherfucker.

They have no friends and don't care about their family that much.

>Why doesn't the NEET ever want to go back to being a total loser

>Also how come isekais never have female MCs?
They do. You probably just ignore them because it looks like shojo shit at first. Girls self-insert too, you know.

>How come there is never an isekai where the MC actually misses his home world and wants to get back?
This kills the escapism.

>MC actually misses his home world and wants to get back
Most of them are like that
>Also how come isekais never have female MC
The protagonist were once exclusively female

But you said there are no female MC isekais, which is objectively wrong.
Also, the part about no MCs missing home is objectively wrong.
Just stop watching trash.

If you're going for a classic, how about Alice in Wonderland?
Not OP, but how about something modern?

Because that's why isekai are shit. The world-switching idea itself isn't bad, but most of the isekai series are more or less the same shit - at least modern ones with these rpg-like settings and harem antics.

Inuyasha

>00s anime is 2old4a now

What is Twelve Kingdoms? What is Fushigi Yuugi?

12K may be from 2003, but Escaflowne is from '94 and Fushigi Yugi is from '92.
Also, classic!=old.

Show by Rock aired last year.

Do Donald Duck, Flip Flop or Re:Creators count?

Shitty writing. You do you think all isekais suck?

>You do you think all isekais suck?
Light Novels: when you can neither write nor draw.

>Also how come isekais never have female MCs?
Old pre-10s Isekai usually featured female MCs and their main goal was to always get back home.

>Donald Duck
?

Youjo Senki

Oh, that nazi WEG?

Evil God Average

Although the plot-twist at the end of the second volume meant that it technically wasn't isekai after all.

Samurai Jack

>Miss home
Subaru actually does miss his home and his parents. It gets addressed in the arc right after the anime ends. He wasn't trying to think about it because he wanted to get disowned by his parents for thinking he was a failure of a person and didn't want to have their expectations hanging on him. He gets to enter a trial that displays the past and faces all of the stuff he did on earth, his lack of friends, and how his parents were always trying to help him and being supportive but he himself feels he will never amount to anything in life, and thus will inevitably dissapoint them.

There's some more stuff, but it basically ends with him talking to his mother and father, even though they're illusions, and resigning to the idea that he may never see them again, and moving on.
