What have you guys been doing to improve yourselves? A new college semester just started for me here so I was gunna get back to the gym. Also been browsing /his/ and have been trying to improve my historical knowledge outside of Sup Forums JPGs. What have YOU been up to?

Changes I've made recently:
- quit smoking
- reduced masturbation frequency significantly
- decided to quit porn cold turkey today
- eating healthier, with a far more balanced diet
- lifting consistently
- reading a lot
- cleaned up my hair and shaved
- started going to bed earlier

Take it slow. It's ok to fail. You're only a failure if you give up entirely. Falling back into your old ways doesn't define who you are at the moment. Keep going and keep it at a slow pace.

You can do it. It's all mental on whether you stick with it. You don't need to jump right in or you're setting yourself up for failure. Have a small goal for every week and try to build on it.

Though I don't personally enjoy them too much, video games are fine as long as they aren't taking priority in your life. If you are staying stagnant wasting hours playing video games, that's a problem. If you're progressing in life and moving in a productive direction and you play video games in your off-time, that's fine. Also, I'm in the same boat with energy drinks and caffeine in general. You can make it brother, we all can.

I already lift things for 10 hours a day at my job. Can't risk an excersize injury which will lead to unemployment, homelessness, and starvation.

I quit drinking a few months ago. Quit smoking weed like a week ago. Ive always been pretty active but I think those two things have caused me to stay slightly overweight. Besides the occasional boredom, I feel great.

I'm 35, I'm fucked for making serious inroads into a new career I think but in terms of overall health and fitness you can still do anything you want, its just hard mode.

I never really had any bad habits outside of beer and tobacco, but I decided to quit both as my New Years Resolutions.

And I am BORED OUT OF MY FUCKING MIND.

I used to come home, nurse a few beers while watching videos/listening to music, step out for a smoke, then rinse and repeat until I had a good little buzz going, then I'd eat and go to bed.

Now, I come home and I'm just ... here. There's literally nothing that can keep my interest anymore. Since all of my friends drink, I don't hang out with them anymore because outside of getting hammered and shooting the shit, we really don't do anything together.

I will say that my energy level is way up. Not boozing and smoking every day has made me feel ten years younger and I'm only 16 days into it. I'm sleeping a lot better, too.

Feeling great, but fucking bored, that's a fair trade off, I suppose.

Been working out. This time last year I was 5’11 155lb.

I hit 175lbs this week and can bench 215. Possibly more, since I haven’t ever had a spotter to help me do a real one rep max.

Proud of myself. I had a big setback in October when I got the flu and went from 170 to 150

I used to work at the construction site as an electrician for a couple years and always did my hard labour AND an hour of strength training in the evening. Hadn't a single injury in these years.

Recovering from tendinitis, so doing a lot of planks and abs works. And started again with the cold showers.
Also 5th day nofap noporn (I think, not really counting), this day seemed a lot easier, a lot less anxiety, and maybe placebo or something, but caught quite a bunch of girls mirin.
