Nearly all production of rare earth happens in China these days, that's why all industry is there AND JOBS WON'T COME BACK. Rare minerals are needed for industry, and they're all produced in China these days. Thing is their reserves are not as plentiful as in the 80s, and they have destroyed their environment with it. Guess who still has a lot of rare earth reserves?
