19.Haruichi Furudate (Haikyu!!)
20.Katsura Hoshino (D.Gray-man)

How official is this list, otherwise I'm calling bullshit on the results. Japan can not have this much sh it taste

Nips have shit taste. We already know this.

What is City Hunter? only name on the list I don't recognize

I'm afraid so.

>Masanori Morita nowhere to be found
Absolutely shit list.

Probably worth a read if its a tenth as great as the Kdrama

>Tosh in the top 10
>Murata that low
Who approved of this list

>Murata that low
>Oda in the top 10
>no Hori at all

classic japs and their shit taste.

sorachi has no business being that high

also obata is overrated

Japan is as full of pleb masses as the rest of the world, and it's fairly obvious people just voted for that one thing they heard of and liked a bit.

>obata is overrated

Kek not even.

He is better than 70% of the people on the list.

Obata is literally held back by a shitty writer since platinum end looks goddamn beautiful but still ain't worth reading

Who in their right mind thinks that Oda's art is better than Bleach's

Blues needs a real anime.

no obata is overrated

his shit looks like the style of half a dozen other artists including the souma fag, it's super bland

No one (at least I don't think anyone does)

Kubo is a pretty good artist when he puts actual effort into it

It's everything else that is pretty terrible

Dunno why Boichi isn't on this list.

Taken from wikipedia because I'm lazy: "The series follows the exploits of Ryo Saeba, a "sweeper" who is always found chasing beautiful girls and a private detective who works to rid Tokyo of crime, along with his associate or partner, Hideyuki Makimura. Their "City Hunter" business is an underground jack-of-all-trades operation, contacted by writing the letters "XYZ" on a blackboard at Shinjuku Station."

Definitely worth the read, same as Cat's Eye from the same author.

Just stay away from Angel Heart, the art is great, but the story is quite lame.

>Best Manga Artist
>7.Eiichiro Oda (One Piece)
shit list

Kishimoto-sensei has to win this.

>bleach
>sameface shit
>white backgrounds
>good

>oda
>good

>Takeshi Obata

wwwwwwhhy

Eiichiro Oda too
Bad art
No history
everything is terrible

Is the movie with Jackie Chan a good representation of what to expect?

Wasn't apart of Jump before the list

>Boichi
I don't think he's better than anyone on that list at their best.

The collusion of art is the same face
Tell me a good artist who does not

Funny because it's also the best manga in the list

>Araki
lol

>8.Hideaki Sorachi (GinTama)
Really? I really like Gintama, but even I have to admit that the art is awful.

Obata and Tori better than INOUE?!

>Japanese Netizens Choose Jump's Most Popular Manga Artist

fixed

It's been a while since I've seen that movie, but I recall it being more like a parody compared to the series. When it comes to City Hunter, the anime is more lighthearted and relies mostly on comedy and romance, making it closer to that movie, whereas manga has more serious moments, but really you have to try it for yourself to see if it suits you.

>6.Masakazu Katsura (DNA²)
What the fuck? How did this end up above so many other big names? Shit's ancient and I thought it was borderline forgotten.

Also the MC takes the cake for ridiculous anime hairstyles.

I'm a bit confused. How is Murata that low?

Is this a joke? You're seriously telling me that you think Akimoto Osamu has drawn anything that looks half as good as SKR?

Tsubasa Hojo is a legend in Japan and Europe despite America not giving a shit.

Places aside, anyone else thinks the list is ok? I don't know who else from Jump I'd choose.

Im also a Gintama fan but Sorachi art over Murata, i mean MURATA?

I wish Sorachi draws the girls like Murata does in OPM.

Also how the fuck is Togashi above Kubo in art?

Saeki art is overrated.

Does Hagiwara count, even though his best art came after he moved out of Jump?

Because Japan is the epitome of shit taste
Besides changing some people and some major place changing I agree that these are some of the best artists Jumo has offered

Who's the better artist then, in your opinion?

still mad at him for family compo ending

He just got here. His series isn't even a year on Jump.

Watsuki? I'm surprised he isn't on it, I thought japs still love RuroKen. And he's at least better than Togashi and the Kochikame guy.

Horikoshi art> Saeki.

The girls in Soma look so moe and generic, unlike in BNHA.

>implying he isn't big
>implying that's his only manga

My silly mistake. Sorry.

Inoue is the best artist out of all of them, Soma and Gintama shouldn't even be here and Murata should be at least seven. Toryiama is okay where he is but I think Obata should be a bit lower at least under Akari. Don't really care about anyone else

"Moe" is not a criticism of art.

>names two artists by name
>names others by manga because he's not that familiar with their work

Biased pleb is biased

>Murata drew this semen demon just to be ranked 11th

he is right about inoue

If we are going to include Jump Seinen series, then besides Inoue we should include Ishida, Hara(Kingdom mangaka), Hiramoto, Oku.

Dump Saeki, Oda, Amano

>saeki over murata
>kishi over kubo
>obata first

>Jump Seinen series
Its clearly WSJ only, user.

>Hara
Fuck no. His only strength is being able to pump out detail. His characters have these plastic faces, everything looks cluttered, and the action is awkward.

I named five artists by name, and I know who Tosh and Sorachi are, didn't think it was that important to you

Also,
>Oku
>on a best of anything list
He was decent in early Gantz and rapidly became terrible with his abuse of digital tools.

>If we are going to include Jump Seinen series
Slam Dunk is a shonen that Inoue drew for WSJ.

It's less of shit taste of people in Japan and more of shit taste of people that use the internet.

>no based satoshi mizukami

you dun fucked up jap

>Togashi on this list
Is this actually official. Is his art supposed to be good?

None of his works are from Jump, dumbshit.

fuck i don't see it, it's all about jump

>Murata has no confidence in his art and works hard everyday prove his art skills because Japanese fans think he's worse than fucking Oda
Blame all delayed OPM chapters from this point on on this list

Murata needs to prove nothing. Man know's what he's doing in life, and he does it well.

Well, you have to throw a lot of variables. As an example, take Akira Toriyama: even though his drawing aren´t top tier, his paneling is, and that makes his art pretty good.

Anyway, I don´t agree with that list. Maybe Inoue and Kubo, bc Kubo can make godly character designs yet....God, Wann Piss has me so salty.

To anyone that isn't a memester shit, yes.

When he tries, he's actually good.

How the fuck is Togashi above Kubo?

If only Araki didnt create Part 6, he wouldve ranked above Inoue imo.

Basically just a popularity list. Though surprising to see Death Note is still so highly regarded. Or maybe Bakuman helped due to being more recent? Did that ever have notable spreads because I don't remember it much besides for being a meta work.

>Murata sees the list
>Ah Obata-sensei(who he was an assistant to) is up at number 1
>And Toriyama-sensei(his biggest inspiration) is up at number 2
>And here I am, at number 11...
"Next OPM chapter delayed till 2020 as Murata trains to improve his art skills"
He still has something to prove to himself, I remember him talking about on stream how he just doesn't' feel good enough compared to the other big name artists out there

>implying netizens participate in pols
>implying the ones who do will not just rig it

are you people retarded
this is just a list voted by random people
toriyama being second should tell you how serious it is

Who is white hair on top left? I recognize everyone else.

>kishi and oda over kubo
do people really prefer the art of kishi and oda over kubo? the former is too stiff while the latter is too wacky.

>Miura
>Jump
Dumb fucking idiot.

>Kishi above Kubo
BLEACHFAGS ETERNALLY BTFO

Miura isn't WSJ. Even if he was he would rank 15th with how this list is

I personally have had my fill of same face pretty boys

Kishi's art in later Naruto was bland, but in the first couple of arcs was just the right amount of cartoony.

Kishi got above Togashi also. Are you gonna claim its better than HXH?

It's a netizen ranking list. Which means half the people got on the list through pure memes alone.

>tfw there are absolute nobodies that are much better artists than the majority of that list

I went and rechecked Bastard's last volume in WSJ, and the art was pretty good but nothing to write home about. It obviously spikes as soon as it goes monthly, and it only gets better from there (aside from his women's faces).

Like who. And to whom a you referring to on the list

The art around Hueco Mundo was probably at its peak.

Plus it was annoying that he drew feet too small and a lot of same facing.

Kishi at his best is a better artist and Naruto was more detailed in the beginning but drawing 17 pages in 4 days wear on you eventually.

Which is why Murata is fucking amazing to manage that with E21 with all of that detail.

>no one talks about Hoshino being that fucking low.
DGM may be a mess as a story but the art has been pretty ace after the first arc and when her hand got better. It's kinda sad that Hoshino will probably never work on a manga again since it seems she doesn't have the physical compacity to do it.

This is just my own thoughts by I categorize Murata into the 'still' categories of manga art. It's great, but it never projects a feeling of motion as well as others do. Plus, his OPM work feels really phoned in most of the time.

Well for one, Bleach isn't as relevant anymore and it lost a lot of its popularity for the past few years. Since this is kind of a popularity contest, makes sense that it didn't rank that high.

>Kishi at his best is a better artist
Nah, Kubo is the better artist in every way; from facial expressions to designs.

>7.Eiichiro Oda (One Piece)
>8.Hideaki Sorachi (GinTama)
Is this a joke?

Glad to see ES21 getting so much love.

>Toriyama above Inoue
I can't handle this much shit taste.

Isn't Fairy Tail published in jump? How can those faggots not even have Mashima show up anywhere but let a complete shit artist like Kishi in? Naruto is a crudely drawn series. Meanwhile Mashima is a nice blend of Kubo and Oda that's loose, lewd and nice to look at. Also, Erza could beat any of them up in a fight because she's Erza.

Mashima is the poor man's Oda. And no Fairy Tail is serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

The whole list is shit, buddy. Oda, Kishi, and Kubo in the top20, Togashi KEK, Inoue not 1st and so on.

>Isn't Fairy Tail published in jump?
No.

>Isn't Fairy Tail published in jump?
No. His art isn't even that good anyways, only his girls are top-tier.

I have no issue with Obata being ranked first.

God Bakuman was shitty.
