We talk about racemixing being wrong for obvious reasons but on some level I feel like this could be considered a minor form of the same thing. On the other hand, I think the negative consequences of such a thing wouldn't really be there, since all of my children would be considered white, and similar relationships have already been happening for centuries in Europe.
Still I think about questions like if blonde/blue eyes people should consider it their moral duty to not reproduce with brown hair/eyes to preserve these phenotypes, or similarly if I should feel at all guilty about BLONDING a redhead as that phenotype is even more rare than mine. But then again blonde hair is recessive whereas red is an incomplete dominant so I guess I would be GINGERING myself, but then red hair is still more rare in the world.
I guess it's less of an important thing to question than macro racemixing since it's just an aesthetic choice vs an IQ one or JUSTing yourself by having hapa children. Still I feel it's worth addressing as it would be a sad thing to me if for example there ever were no more blue eyes or red/blonde hair.

it doesn't really matter. europeans have had blue eyes and light skins for nearly 10,000 years. my parents had brown eyes and blue eyes and all of my siblings came out with blue or green eyes. these traits have obviously grown more prevalent since 10,000 years ago and there are no signs of these characteristics "dying out" or anything. they are here because of selection for them.

Even mixed mutts are able to sometimes have blue eyes because (as I understand it) of recessive genes in the black population. But overwhelmingly, as soon as mixing takes place the blue eyed population goes down.
