Author put Benio on a bus just to introduce more girls, even traps, even though he already sealed the main pair so this all means fuck all (I bet this was the editor's doing).
Benio is in a much, much more interesting situation right now but the author is just wasting time with a fucking meaningless tournament.
Rokurou is still a generic shit protagonist.
I bet this arc will be interrupted (which tornament isn't?) and once that ends Benio will come back as the antagonist for the next arc in full Basara mode so the author can keep sucking Rokurou's dick by having him save her with the power of love.
