I have tried reading a translation of the first chapter. It's atrocious. That is, the translation AND the content are atrocious. The setup reminds me of those "government breeding program" h-doujins and the game introduction is orders of magnitude worse than Kirito's unique skill and beater status thing.

The only way to make it tolerable would be compressing it into 2 manga pages and simply glossing over the details. But I have not read further, so I suspect the later parts are no better.

To be fair for these kinds of light reading the author is expected to churn out at least 3-4 volumes worth of writing a year.
