There is 0 chance of that working. At least claim its symbolic or something. I think the only strategy that could have any long term success is either an all out re-shuffle of the firearms system, which has been spoke about and is very much needed, since mostly all are reactionary laws scattered across the entire 20th century with no single firearm policy or by slowly altering laws that provide more leeway.
Make all firearms permitted by law available under one certificate similar to a co-terminous one, or legalising handguns, permitting fully automatics, dropping calibre restrictions, etc.
>Lift the ban on hand guns and allow everyone to own any firearm.
This is an extremely bad selling point though.

I imagine myself in Europe, leading my Platoon. Our mission is to stop An*Lo dogs from advancing. We mow down An*Lo dogs but they keep coming. I shoot An*Lo dogs but I run out of ammo so I draw my sword and begin slaughtering An*Los since An*Los are way more psychially inferior to me, I slay them by dozens. Then I get shot, but I didn’t fall, I kept fighting. Then shot again and again. An*Los were shooting me from a distance like the cowards they are. I lie down, facing up to sky and I see EUROPA UNITED smiling at me, I smile back… Then I woke up, in Brussels, my homeland. My EUROPEAN brethen gave me a warm welcome to heaven. I finally made it, I finally made it into heaven..

The last one probably has more potential than the first or second, though I think the second is probable in the near future. Whether or not it works in favour of those on the side of pro-firearm ownership I can't say. It's just as likely it could end up being a simpler and more restrictive form of what we have now but all under one certificate.
Self defence laws could also be changed likely in the near future if there was enough pressure is another thing though. I think that's possible. We had that guy who shot a burglar with an unlicensed license shotgun posted the other week who was only charged for the shotgun and not the murder yet also a man who was told he couldn't use barbed wire to protect his allotment because it harmed a burglar so it really depends on the judge which is probably the greatest argument for why self defence should be more plain in law.

Yeah, reading through this makes sense. A slow start with being able to buy handguns with a license could get the ball rolling though. There are only 3 rights. The rights to Life, Liberty and Property. A constitution is extremely useful in law though. What articles do you want in?
Nicholas Phillips
Then what you mean is you want a Bill of Rights that is central to a Constitution. In fact, all you really want is the Second Amendment if I'm not mistaken. Somalia has a Constitution. A Constitution is just the framework in which a state operates.

But I can debate your point:
Artificial or arbitrary changes in factors such as supply and demand, interest, inflation and recession can and does happen in every single currency or economic system to some degree. Arbitration is inherent in any currency. The question is WHO arbitrates and for what ends? You have constructed a strawman (the decision making of individuals) and diverted the argument away from the question that defined it (your opinion on a given concept)
Now please, if you will, answer the original question and perhaps offer an alternative that would be an improvement.

This is a good point. The press and polis commonly bleat about thing being against 'British values'. I have no idea what they mean, they are nothing I recognise.
I would like to see the fundamsntals for startes
Free speech Freedom of the press Right to self defence of person and property incorporating something akin to castle doctrine Property rights (ie right to deny access) Right to free assembly Only be tried once for crime (no double jeopardy) Right to a trial by jury of your peers (no fast tracking bullshit) Right to not self incriminate Right to own arms, inc for self defence Etc
Ayden Roberts
But you're talking as though you could insert the U.S. Bill of Rights into France and have the same results. The reason for over who has fared better, by your criteria, might have something to do with both embedded culture in parts of the U.S. and the fact there was nothing comparable to the U.S. Bill of Rights in English law. Also the differences in American Republicanism and early English liberalism which was more focused on parliament over monarchy than state tyranny in general.
Matthew Rivera
>He thinks a codified constitution in the current year wouldn't be anything but taking all our remaining rights away
Zachary White
I know what you mean, but I feel it must be done. Let them try and attack, they will be hit harder in return. We will beat them at their own game. JBP on Channel 4 showed that it is easily done.
Precisely. Until we define those values and who we are, where we're going and why we're here in the first place then any solution that is brought forward has no foundation beyond perhaps humanism in the globalist sense.
You cannot build the walls or roof to your house before the foundation. Through the ages, architecture has undergone a degree of change and our building methods and materials reflect that. Our society endures the same effect, but with the disadvantage that it can't just go to another plot of land and rebuild from the start; it needs some serious demolition work doing first. The building of St Paul's Cathedral comes to mind.

I tend to use the US as an example because in terms of constitution, they started from a similar place (common law, locke, blackstone etc) and just because its what people are most familiar with. Also, I think its important that all oaths of office in the states are to the constitution, and most yanks I know who swore those oaths took them damn seriously.
This is, of couse, the sticking point - who frames your constitution...
Jacob Adams
Correct, although you phrase it in a strange way. There is no such thing as a right without the obligation and duty to back it up. It would be more accurate to say that the population of a growing society defines itself in terms of its duties and obligations, whereas the population in a declining society define themselves in terms of their "rights", which translates fundamentally as "entitlements" or what you are owed by the world for absolutely nothing on your part, which is what leads to the formation of untermensch and societal decline.

If I had to elect a King, I would go for myself or JRM.
>May I present the royal bride: Maid M'bubwe
Yes. And as I said: without the duties and obligations behind them, the rights do not exist. If we were to believe that the arbitrary personal security and wellbeing of a mentally irregular minority is our obligation, then it would be so. Although, in a healthy society we would see their wellbeing as our duty to society, but without the arbitration. Their wellbeing should translate into them becoming mentally balanced and being able to contribute to a healthy society, and that should be our duty.
Our sense of duty has been shadowed by our consideration of arbitrary factors. My brief reparte with the tripfag earlier was a nice little microcosm of this very effect. We no longer wish to obligate ourselves because we are well aware of the arbitrary factors which dictate the status quo socially, politically, artistically, etc etc. Divine Truth has been labelled a myth by humanists and minority activists, for we can not cement any truths if we are only to outgrow them with our next scientific or cultural advancement. So again, we shirk the duty of cementing the very truths to which we should be obligating ourselves to.
And the foundation crumbles because of this. If you want to guarantee certain collapse, attack the foundation.

The question was "should Britain become an absolute monarchy" and, by extension, I offered a name for King as someone who represents best what I would want to see in a King. Who would you have to be monarch if you had the choice? And can you please answer the question I asked you earlier, poppet?
Unfortunately for you, I like JRM and I believe National Socialism offers some very apt solutions to some of our curent problems. How do you define yourself? What systems do you think we should borrow from to work through our problems?
What qualities would your selection display that would make you want them as monarch?
