It's an isekai that takes place in a game-like world with stats, skills, heroes, and demon lords.
But it's actually good.
How does Kumo do it, Sup Forums?
Also, would you fug this spider?

dunno, ask plebbit.
also go back there.

But is it as good as Arifureta, OP?
>It had taken him only a month of nonstop training to perfect this technique. And there was a reason he managed to master this superhuman feat in only a month. His Riftwalk ability. Riftwalk not only gave him the ability to heighten his other movement skills, but it also enhanced his five senses to their limit. It made it seem as if the rest of the world was moving in slow motion, which was what made midair reloading possible.

>On top of improving his weapons, he had also crafted a two-wheel mana-powered vehicle, Steiff, and a four-wheel mana-powered vehicle, Brise.

>As their description suggested, they used mana as fuel. Their frames were covered with Azantium, the hardest metal in existence. Both of them were loaded to the brim with weapons

>He had also added a new gun to his arsenal— Metzelei, a railgun-enhanced gatling gun. The inspiration for it had come from the time they had had to fight the army of raptors and hadn’t had enough firepower to take them all on. It was a monster of a weapon, with six rotating barrels capable of firing 12,000 30mm caliber rounds a minute.

>Also, as a way to gain complete combat superiority, and simply because Hajime thought it was cool, he had created a rocket launcher called Orkan. It had a rectangular barrel, and boasted a large magazine allowing for 12 consecutive shots. He could fire different varieties of rockets too.

>He had also created a sister revolver to Donner, Schlag. Since he had a prosthetic arm, Hajime figured he could use two revolvers at once. His preferred style of combat was close quarter gun combat, gun fu basically, with Donner and Schlag overpowering his enemies.

Why do so many isekai never explore the possibility of using modern knowledge to BTFO medieval fantasy warfare?
Imagine mowing over a bunch of knights with a peasant army equipped with rifles.

You doesnt seem to read much eh

>Also, would you fug this spider?
I would fug this duke's daughter (male).

You need to read Release that Witch.

Bluesteel Blasphemer is a poor novel.

Are Arifureta, Dungeon Seeker, and Skill Taker the golden triangle of trash isekai?

It stopped being good a long time ago

Daily reminder that you should praise the lord and savior of condiments.

Would you be able, right now, without google or any book at hand to create gunpowder? And build a weapon? That works and doesnt blow up in your face? People are stupid at this day and age because knowledge is easy available through internet or books, some people cant even cook without grabbing a book to help them not to burn a steak.

>some people cant even cook without grabbing a book to help them not to burn a steak.
Reminder that isekai authors believe that medieval peasants don't know about flipping steaks to cook them more evenly.

If anything it got better after she left the dungeon.

for some reasons kuro reminds me of a cockroach in that picture.
also, sophia best gril

Sophia a slutty dumbpire.

>airhead battle maniac slut with mommy issues
>best

Stories should never leave the dungeon. Only blandness waits outside.

>manga gets to the arachne evolution
>spider half continues to be super emotive while human half has a perpetual deadpan expression on her face

>ara girl
>not best

You would have mommy issues too if your mommy treated you as a post drinking snack.

user please
GunOta beats those three

And Death March beats all of them.
Oh, and it's getting a fucking anime.

Is that the excuse you gave your parents trying to get you to leave the basement?

The manga needs to pick up the fucking pace. I dont read WN/LNs.

Seriously though, why doesn't he just give the willing loli the D?

Reminder that the WN recently updated and that Potimas is a dick.

Fucking elves.

while still being bad, death march is leagues better than those 3

No shit sherlock
Mad Scientist + batshit insane elf is never a good combination.
I feel sorry for those that followed the fucker.

Anything like tensei shojou? I also read killing slimes for 300 years.

what a boring arc. the author could have had Ariel or kuro summarize all the important facts in less than a chapter and get all the past history over with

It wouldn't be le epic now, would it?

The anime will air next year and revolutionize power fantasy, mark my words.
Needs more isekai power fantasies, isekai'd into a shark, fly, octopus when?

OK anoons, you have managed to make me try reading it. I hope it's really good because the only Isekai I haven't dropped is Mushoku Tensei, which was excellent. Not saying I read much of them though. Arifureta is garbage once the MC is alone and there are other shits like GunOta and reMonster, ugh.

Why write Isekai when you can just write a fantasy world story instead, why do you need to include shit like summoning/reincarnation.

It'll be hard to dethrone Dragon Ball user.

Reminder that Potimas isn't an elf.

They are all on the same level as each other. With all of them being trash. Get over it. One of them is nothing happens, deus ex machina, just stupid, and just pandering. All bad. Equivalent to compost heap, no, even compost heap is more useful than all of them.
Re:Monster is just a really crappy diary.
Mushoku Tensei was mediocre.
Self-insertia or some cases used as some goal like immortality.

>why do you need to include shit like summoning/reincarnation.
It's to make things much more easier to relate to and easier to self insert into.
Also a cheap excuse to make MC look like a genius or some shit.
Finally, Blame Dragon Quest for poisoning the well,

Because how else will I be able to fantasize about being swept out of my dreary NEET/salaryman existence and into a wondrous world of adventure and cute demihuman girls who all want my dick?

A few reasons I can think of.
>easier to sympathise with the protagonist
>worldbuilding is easier because you can make direct comparisons between Earth and isekailand (i.e. "in this world there are 13 months in a year")
>can insert memes
I agree that it's better to just go for straight fantasy, though.

Sorry, lv system based powers is superior and allows for more options.

> ugh
I understand your sentiments, but seriously, get the fuck out of here. Under-aged anons are not allowed here
The only time when these can be allowed is when there is some goal beyond being in the new world. Like immortality. That's it.

Also the prose is easier to write.
Instead of trying to attempt a pseudo-ye olde medieval speak you can just have the MC talk like
>eeeh I've been teleported into another world?
>uwaa this is just like my shitty web novels
>isekai kitaaaaaaaa!

Re;monster only has these so called stats and levels to make simple and shallow things look way too complicated and deep.

You make it sound like WN authors try at all to give characters period-appropriate mannerisms instead of just making all of them talk like high school girls with quirky sentence copula tacked onto the end like desuwa and nanoja.

Actually I wouldn't have a problem with isekai if it all wasn't the same goddamn type, the protagonist finding or getting a cheat and bullshitting through everything, on top his enemies looking like utter jokes. Why does it always have to be some fucking cheat, can't you make him work hard for his happiness instead of cheating his way through it? Its like saying the protagonist can't do anything without his lucky power that no one else can match. If that's the case, what the fuck is the point of him fighting at all if he's gonna win anyway? Goddamn I hate these authors, even fucking R-18 novels are more enjoyable to read that this utter trite.

>Its like saying the protagonist can't do anything without his lucky power that no one else can match.
That's exactly what they're saying.

I remember there having a lewder version of TWGOK, what was it again and was it really axed?

Are you talking about the trillion stories that go along the lines of "I died and was reincarnated in my favorite otome/gal game?!"

Are you talking about Himekishi?

Not all of them, it's just the recent crap did these kinds of things.
user, read more of shoujo stuff.

It keeps the power aspect interesting, way better than other series that just do some boring power and forget the fights.

Why is she so hot?

Those stories always appear to be worse though, I tend to avoid female protagonists cause the women who write them are even more depraved than men.

similar to that but he worked against the pro-human goddess and her cheat wielding heroes to preserve diversity.
I think his cheat was to turn into anyone he wants to be and his first capture was a bookshop girl with huge tats.

Anyone here read spirit migration? Im not sure if it classifies as isekai but its pretty fun to read.

> I gain powers through eating any weird shit
> Interesting
> user thinks this is interesting
Hahaha!

user... when was the last time you read shoujo isekai?

Theres a series where a guy wins the lotto and finds a portal to a midevil era world. He just goes to a store and buys them shovels and energy drinks.

I raise you a Slime

Slime >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Goblin

Shoujo isekai tend to be more comfy than shonen isekai.

Have you not read the adventures of monkey? The idiot that seduces both men and women?

>Japanese isekai
OP Protagonist with cheat, women are drawn to him because he's "nice". Harem is a must.
>Chinese isekai
Usually reincarnated as a weak pleb/young master, kills anything that offends him and rapist/needs to rape for reasons. Harem is a must.
>Korean isekai
Murdering psychopath with dark past, not reserved from killing, does not give a shit about women but will have sex. Harem not included.

Which isekai is best?

then what about MCs who are inherently OP due to other reason (coming from a more technological word or having struggled to get to the top in their former world/life)

>even fucking R-18 novels are more enjoyable
unironically speaking, picrelated my fav isekai novel read so far

But the authors also don't have any weird obsession with chivalry and purity so it tends to enter smutty territory more often.

>Its an isekai where a person dies in a fantasy world and gets placed in our shitty world

Has anyone done this?

>tends to enter smutty territory more often
And that's bad?
I find it weird that i'm easilly aroused reading smutty shoujo than smutty shonen/seinen

The ones with goals and how those goals end up shaping the lives and perspectives of many, good or bad.
> Smutty
Again, have you not read that many shoujo isekai?

Yes, bokura no kiseki

Read lilliane , eliza, and tattoo otaku

This went to shit extremely quickly, what a waste of the good art

>First chapter is him getting summoned with 3 other idiots
>Second chapter is him having sex after brainwashing some dumb bimbo
Pretty funny to be honest.

To answer your question I like isekai's like that novel and isekai mahou explain their protagonist being stronger than everyone else, rather than handing them everything because self insert.

>A young man bumps into Gyuriedistodiez’s shoulder. A young man together with a young woman. The young man didn’t even notice that he had bumped into Gyuriedistodiez, and continued to walk along with his lover while laughing.
>Gyuriedistodiez’s fury boiled over in an instant. An inferior creature had bumped into him and then disregarded him. There was no reason for him to forgive such humiliation. All the irritation that had piled up within Gyuriedistodiez, would be channeled into the deserved killing of the young man who had committed the disgrace. Just by striking his fist into the forehead, that frail human would be killed. An instant later would be the spectacle of the young man being entirely smashed to pieces. Or should have been.
Hahaha holy shit, I didn't expect Kuro of all people to go "REEEEEEEEEEE FUCKING NORMIES GO EXPLODE"

True but at least it had time to go to shit unlike RE:Monster

Suimei pulls whatever convenient magic out of his fucking ass. Hell, even when he got stabbed, it turned out that he liquified himself to avoid wounds and that's just too fucking convenient.

Still kinda believable, as they establish that there are like 72 systems of magic back on Earth so the asspulls don't feel too contrived. I think. Still bothered me how he didn't use holy magic on the demons.

that's a different novel

Question
Are these demons weak to holy?

> I think.
No, this is just bs at this point. I assure you. I'm still surprised no one realized how demons are creatures of darkness and shit, people still waste time casting fireballs instead of holy attributes.

Suimei ends up fighting on the demon generals, he ends up blasting him with some grand holy lightning magic spell. It doesn't kill him in one shot but the after effects kill him. Not before hero best friend takes the credit of course.
Are there even holy spells in this world in the first place? Their magic is more effective than Suimei's when they first fought them on the escort quest.

The MC doesn't have to be a stupid high school student.

And it doesn't have to be some guy obsessed with guns like an otaku. In fact, the only plausible way for guns to actually be made is through pre-existance of guns already made in isekai world without any isekai knowledge, only as far as rifles with presence of alchemists or scientists and not through simple knowledge. It takes away the complexity and insults the long line of work that made people in weaponry work so hard for. Only as far as rifles or flintlock, that's it.

Alright Sup Forums, name some good isekai since only bad ones seem to be getting mentioned.

Then why not read something with a female protagonist, written by a man?

Isekai only works for me in 2 ways. Go hyper realistic with bringing technology advancement and steam roll other kingdoms or with decent power system to distract me from everything else.

Kumoko was good when she was trolled in the begining and middle, when she become 'human' it went downhill, the other characters kill the flow (albeit there are some exceptions like Berserk Oni and his honorable goblin story was kinda cool), the hero and genderbender though? I just skip.

If there were primitive guns in a fantasy world, i would think it's use would be limited to sieges (both attacking and defending force), sabotage, ambushes, naval battles, and within the opening first of a land battle (or at least until they two opposing forces make contact).

Oh and the average 'adventurer' wouldn't be in possession of these due to how hard it is to maintain, need the right conditions to work(not wet), and very expensive to operate.

MushoTen
NEET
Eliza
Liliane
Tattoo otaku

>I just skip all the chapters that explains what is happened out of the dungeon, why this go to shit after she get out of the dungeon, guys?

I've read some fair amount to form an opinion and most of these are really shit. By shit I mean the characters, the story part is fine (i.e meeting Kumo offspring or the actual battle in the elf village), but there's so much one can handle without getting annoyed by them.

Kenkyo Kenjitsu is my faourite, although Este is pretty inconsistent with updates.

Do you really expect me to take you seriously when you admit that you skip chapters that are important to the plot?

I don't give a shit what you care or not, the story might be great, but some of the characters make x part of it practically unreadable as much as I love Kumoko or D.

>Go hyper realistic with bringing technology advancement and steam roll other kingdoms
The funny thing is you think this is hyper realistic.

it was good until chapter 100 with the demon council admins and shit. which is a shame because I loved the little white scarf callback around that time. shit got way too convoluted, though.

the monkey fight was my favorite one.

>MFW Kuro was some uptight angsty teen

i wonder with how many chapters will they adapt volume 5 with.

Vampire wants a nap

Penis goes where?
