Neat! I'm still wondering about Rosa though because her likeness to Merlin can't be a coincidence, though she had the typical sexy look Nakaba uses. Just seeing her though in Escanor's flashback makes me think there's some connection
Keep in mind that it's tiny Diane at that, and we still don't know Gideon's ability (which based on the delivery seems to be something beyond general strength boosting).
Ban will definitely get a power up on getting his weapon. The question is whether Merlin will even need one. It's hard to see her keeping up in some ways, but her limitations are fairly vague and it looks like she'd rather get everyone else to do things for her.
Best bet for a quick boost for her would be something about releasing the seal on her aging temporarily. Wouldn't be half surprised if she started aging rapidly, in exchange for a boost in magic relative to the amount of time she had negated.

Speaking of last week's cover, it says that the story is about enter into a new arc. So I guess the commandment arc ended with the flashback, somehow. Maybe the goddesses will come back to wreck the remaining commandments now.

I was talking about her base power before she starts dancing, since pretty much every enemy worth his/her salt can blitz her before she can accumulate any power. Then again they could also assassinate Escanor at night but it hasn't occurred to them yet.

As for Rosa, she's the woman who helped Escanor escape. Could just be some one-off but she looked like Merlin except light-haired and had a strange looking ring (some thing could be a scar) on her finger.

Why is Escanor in his night form?
I don't think an ST alone would be enough for Ban to catch up to the others. I mean Diane hasn't used her ST's power so far and neither has Merlin. The problem is that Ban doesn't really have any ways to power up aside from his ST. We've already seen the limit and drawback of his power steal and him being a former human he also doesn't have any racial magic. I guess he could conceivably somehow learn to control his immortality better, for example being able to regenerate instantly rather than with a few seconds of delay. Alternatively it could have something to do with the idea of "removing one's limiter" so that he could punch things so hard his own limbs are blown off. I think that one zombie comedy had something similar going on.

Meliodas' full backstory will be the very last, probably coinciding with Elizabeth gaining her memory and original form. We'll probably need big bad demon dad to have appeared in the story in the present as well before that happens.

I hope the day off chapter is a ruse and it actually ends with the archangels storming Liones or something.
Holy knights arc ended with the Sins fighting the holy knights in Liones and with the commandments being unsealed. Commandment arc ended with the Sins fighting the commandments in Liones and with the archangels being revealed in a flashback. This time around the commandments are still around but they're not as big of a threat as they were before, so there's probably going to be some shenanigans involving the goddess clan and/or the demon king. Personally I think it would be interesting if this turned into a 3-way fight between the relevant parties.
So is Melodias actually an adult now physically or is his immortality curse keeping him looking like a teenager?

Merlin is already broken as fuck and the author had to petrify her so she couldn't teleport all the commandments into an active volcano.
Merlin is an all purpose magician with a hax ability. Power Levels can't accurately measure her

All he really needs is for his Sacred Treasure to increase Fox Hunt's upper limit and efficiency. Simultaneous debuff/buff is really fucking strong
