Well it’s a set of exercises meant to teach you how to form and take arguments apart logically. The actual text of the chapters is pure theory and method and it’s a useful skill that I can use to get into a position where I can make a difference. Nice. That was the most valuable course I took in all of high school or college. I don't use it directly for anything, but it completely shaped my thinking to the point that I pretty much draw on it every day.
I think elementary school children should have to take classes on logic instead of memorizing dinosaurs and shit. It'd be a much better society if more people were trained to think in a linear, deductive manner.

Ironically before I started this course, Sup Forums was the one thing that honed by critical thinking skills. The ability to spot noses and nose influence bled out into every other cognitive process I have.
