Bravo Genndy

Hey, he likes TTGL, I like TTGL.

It seems to all work out.

...

It just has to happen in the year of TTGL's 10th anniversary. Of all the years.

I was sad when Scaramouche died.

Didn't even fucking let them kiss

Basically this. The moment the end happened I was like "This is fucking TTGL isn't it"

...

Let's not pretend TTGL didn't steal all it's shit from other anime anyways.

which ones tho

I was so happy when Jack was reunited with The Scotsman.

10 years is enough time to be allowed to rip something off.

>being inspired by
>stealing

>Scotsman just offers all his daughters to Jack, tells him he can have any of them

What a bro.

What the...

>Doesn't even get mad when Jack says he already has someone
Truest bro

>Wait! You're back already?!

I don't know why I laughed so hard at that, but I did.

So he eventually got back, back to the past then?

>Aku's look of concern when they went back
That was pretty funny.

In the most rushed way possible.

>THAT was the ending
I'm so confused. It feels like it didn't happen. Is this seriously how it ends? On that?

No, it doesn't end that way.

Jack dies in the fall from episode 3. That was the true ending.

THE END.

ANNO
GENNDY
KOJIMA

NO ONE CAN RUSTLE THE TRIUMVIRATE

Gaiking (especially LoDM) for starters

>Ashi realizes she has Aku's powers
>she produces a time portal
>Aku's eyes dilate

I need a gif of that so bad

shit, need to watch that sometime

>"Oh....fuck..."

Hey wait a minute

Eva's not a robot

Cyborg, same as kamen rider. If anything Ultraman is the one that doesn't fit

Make sure to stay far, FAR away from the TV-Nihon release.

I dont mind the sad ending.

But without a good ending fight its all a waste

No need to warn me about that, but thank you regardless

>Anno

It's not just the subs.
TV-N uses the original television broadcast which suffered from having no sponsors initially and a ridiculous time schedule due to being slapped into the timeslot after Bobobo's cancellation so a bunch of episodes look like something that even Korean sweatshops would be ashamed of.

...

Someone shop their faces with Jack and Ashit.

This is what happens when you don't go the daughteru route.

Jesus i feeled so bad for jack. That man never can be happy

I'm glad the waifu fags lost.

Ending was anti-climatic as fuck.

>Oh hey, you have Aku's powers
>You're right!
>Grabs the sword and makes a time portal mid fight.
>They go back to the past and Jack chops up aku a bunch and destroys the tower.
>Ashi disappears due to time loop shit after a short timeskip for some reason instead of immediately after killing aku.

Only good things about the end were the Scottsman being based as fuck and the stone samurai beating Aku's face in and ripping off his horns.

>Actually the bad guy's daughter
>Saves the main character from depression
>Falls in love with main character but gets brainwashed
>Ceases from existing during marriage

Literally Nia

>2 good shows ruined with the same shit ending
At least Nia was likeable.

At an image of Jack and Simon as hobos at the end.

TTGL had a 10/10 ending.

This should have never been a thing to begin with.

He found peace with what happened. He saved the entire universe and the future is better for it. Ashi would have wanted him to be happy. He'll move on, but he will always remember her, the girl that saved him.

Heck, if he is still immortal and doesn't go insane in the thousands of years it will take, eventually he will still get to the future and see a better version of it. All those people should still be alive in the future. It was just Ashi's existence that relied on Aku.

The only real shame is that Jack didn't get to have her with all that shape-shifting goodness. Just think of how OP their children would have been.

Literally shit tier characters.

At least her dying makes sense that there was nothing they could do. TTGL is just

>oh, don't want to be a hypocrit, got to use spiral power responsibly and not go balls to the walls with it and revive my dead wife

I mean, I guess you can make the argument that then EVERYONE will want him to revive their lost loved ones, but come on, there were only friends there, you can deny that anything happened, no one would think less of Simon for reviving her.

You simply don't get how important death is to life and thus fail to grasp one of the core messages of the series.

You know what I thought, Gendy needed to go full G Gundam at the love plot, have them defeat Aku while going through a motivational speech about happiness in life.

And then have her die. That has actually in fact never been done before.

also ashi dying because of time paradox and not just withering away because of Aku being dead was a bad call that made it confusing, loved the ending in spirit though

I wonder why he never considered Ashi disappearing with Aku's death.

Good that romance shit was stupid as fuck. Should have been a daughter father/mentor apprentice relationship to mirror Aku's relationship with her and her upbringing under her mother.

>is now ERASED FROM EXISTENCE
REEEEE

Because shit writing.

If everyone in the future was going to be deleted, why sacrifice his chance at accessing time portals just to make sure that some random jobbers don't get murked by Aku?
