it was a good movie

What the fuck? Who's letting their kids read Sade?

What the fuck

redpill
whats this book about? worth reading?

never read any Sade, what does he say about race in this?

It's the absolute worst and most degraded pornography I've ever seen, there's nothing of value in it at all.

>richfags imprison and torture poor people in sick sexual ways before killing them
>written by a frenchie near the Revolution time

Not kidding at all lads. France has always been degenerate.

It's a depiction of horrible depravity. It was written by yhe Marquis de Sade, where we get the word "sadism". He used the chaos of the French revolution to basically allow him to just rape and murder men and women and do all sorts of terrible shit. He was a sociopath. That's why it's nuts that this book is worried about race. I can't even remember what racial stuff is in 120 Days of Sodom.

This. People have a fascination with it that leads to weirdos giving it a high literary status (it's one of France's most prized literary works), but it's filthy, pointless, unfunny garbage that doesn't even succeed as satire.

well thats pretty fucked then, not something I'd ever read.
huh is that actually the origin of sadism? seems too convenient, might just be coincidence

It's libertine literature. It takes the enlightenment value of liberty to its logical conclusion with abhorrent affects. You have as many masters as you have vices.

It's all whites in the book and not about race. The warning is a tastelessly done generic PC disclaimer that they have in all their books, I'm sure.

Sadism did actually originate from Sade just looked it up, inderdasting.

Minor correction to your post: Sade did not do these things. He was locked in the Bastille while writing it. Still fucked up, though

The name, not the practice, obviously- though he put it to particular socio-political use.

the movie was actually good
but it was made by an italian
less smut and more depravity

I know, but he did do things after he got out of the Bastille. Definitely plenty of evidence that he attempted to live out some of the fantasies he depicted. He didn't write 120 Days of Sodom as any kind of warning or moral judgement, it was basically masturbation material for him.

>>Sodom
It's nice, although I prefer Kreator better.

I can't speak to him masturbating to the work, but I've never read anything to the effect of him trying to recreate it. I know he fucked a preteen though, so, you know, six to one...

He cut up a prostitute and poured hot wax into the wounds. He raped/attempted to rape most of his servants and was almost shot after one of the incidents.

>being this new

read the book, watched the movie, nothing even remotely related to race
all whites in the story, not a single mention of race

Its not even finished

Agreed, well worth watching.

sounds like Naked Lunch
