Could Sparta be considered as the first national socialist state?

Could Sparta be considered as the first national socialist state?

relase the memo

release the fucking memo

No? Sparta was a group of foreigners who invaded Greece and ruled over a slave nation. Also the hardcore Spartan life stlye we know them for only lasted around a century because it turns out raising every single child like a soldier is shit for society.

Rememe the semo

Sounds like most socialists.

No.

>>man/boy love
never happened
>>vastly over-rated
they were factually the strongest and therefor most respected
>>small inbred elite group taking credit for achievements of others
not inbred at all. simply not true.

That's what they want you to think, Spartans were really good at keeping up an image

They were merely foreign greeks, and they enslaved the liberal pussies of the time. sympathizers of persia.

>it turns out raising every single child like a soldier is shit for society.
wrong. it was great for society. the fear of a slave revolt drove them to be by far and away superior men- despite being outnumbered 7 to 1.

They literally only degenerated because Persia killed them all.

b-b-b-b-but the moobie??

Spartans liked to buttfuck each other to create fraternal bonds. Too gay for my liking

Sparta is actually the closest thing to a matriarchy.
Because women could inherit property and remarry if her husband died in combat, it didn't take long until Sparta was being indirectly ruled by super rich heiresses.
Spartan Kings would beg them for money to go to war.

>slavery
>socialism
pick one

>they were factually the strongest and therefor most respected
this is a literal meme
Thebes was considered to be the best at the olympics, Athens was the best at naval warfare, Sparta was just the best at organized warfare, up until the rise of Macedon

this
Women in Sparta were rich as all fuck, and held so much political power that it scared people from places such as Athens

Not to mention that for most of the time Sparta was "powerful" they were respected for governmental affairs, not military feats.

Release the memo.

Sparta was a fucking caste society where different ethnicities did different work.

Spartans were soldiers and the ruling elite, helots were the agricultural slave class and perioeci were the middle class doing trade and crafts. None of the three could mix with the other 2. It was by no means a nation working for the greater good of the nation.

Not to mention that the Spartans were incredibly autistic about this divide. And they believed that they were actually occupying Helot land, and were petrified of the Helots rising up and overthrowing them. Which is why they trained so hard.

Ugh don't fuck with the MSU flag faggot
